*NEW* Bardock Vs Frieza BOSS FIGHT! Bardock TRANSFORMS?!| DBZ Kakarot Story (DLC4)

- This is the second part of my full unique & transformative gameplay of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Bardock Alone Against Fate! Where I show off how to defeat Frieza, put in my unique edits, and more! In terms of a narrative standpoint, it jumps straight into where Bardock takes on Frieza! Specifically, he fights against Frieza’s minions. And then he takes on Dodoria, to which he has a full on battle with 1st Form Frieza. For this Video, I showcase my gameplay of when Bardock fights Dodoria in his rematch, along with his full fight against Frieza!
Unlike the Original TV special where frieza outright destroys everyone, Frieza becomes so impressed with Bardock that he decides to fight him! In his pod!
Throughout the end, Bardock even manages to overpower Frieza! a massively suppressed one. Atleast until his inevitable passing. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this DLC and thought it was well done as a whole! I really hope we get more Downloadable content in the future, because this is my favorite!

For reference: I recorded this footage using The El Gato HD60X. And then I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit it. Using several types of cuts and transitions and graphics to make it look excellent! The console I recorded this from was the Playstation 5.
CC2 Covering the DBS/Minus version of Bardock, instead of DBZ Bardock would have been 1000x better. Here is why:
A: Canon Bardock has actual personality and character development
B. Canon Bardock doesn't like killing for sport. He even spared Granola's mom
C. Bardock VS Gas>>>>Bardock VS Frieza
D. Bardock cared for Goku
E. We would have seen Goku's mom. DBZ implies that Bardock hooked up with a rando chick, which is silly.
And yes, superman story>>>Barbaric saiyans. Arguing otherwise just means you're a sad troll.

Ah yes, yet another "the canon way is the only way" logic. Also I dislike the argument that Dbs bardock had "actually personality and character development". The only difference is that he decided to make good decision because hes less of a shit person. Dude still killed innocents most of his life. I still like him but he's just a slightly better character at least morally and that's OK to me. Yes I'm purposely excluding the granola arc for obvious reasons

I would've been happy with either. "Father of Goku" Bardock is def the more popular and favored pick though. At least here in the west. I honestly prefer the new Bardock just because of the manga but it is what it is.

I think it's just the fact that they're shocked he'd go through with it to Vegeta. Frieza killed a bunch of his forces in the explosion too which also might have scared them
27:48 I really like this part. Unlike previous boss punches, this one shows Frieza not feeling anything at all. It's a love tap to him, as he is far more powerful than Bardock

Sad, it would be cool if he transformed into ssj in the battle, but I think he haven't transformed in the battle against freeza in the special I guess

Zarbon too, both seem to look like they felt Frieza pushed it too hard on eradicating the planet and the Saiyans.
the fact the sayains all laughed an didn't believed bardock, shows how cocky an ego tripped they are, they could have prolly pushed freieza a little.
It was their first time seeing frieza's power at full display. No one but frieza could destroy a planet around this time which is terrifying.
@@jatman9556 I don’t know about that. If they were blowing up moons in OG dragon ball, the sheer gap between then and Namek saga makes me think many of them could do it. Maybe it’s just the first time they’ve seen someone do it

Pretty sad that none of the saiyans believed this man, who was considered one of the stronger saiyans until It was too late.
They were all dumbasses and heartless psychopaths if you ask me they pretty much got what they deserved
They all thought the same as Bardock and his team that Frieza wouldn't do this to them ever. How little they knew their overlord and how cruel he really is to his underlings
bardock was never considered one of the stronger saiyans. he was always a low class warrior with an average power level, that's the entire point of his story.
@joj5150 He's the high end of the common saiyan,then his power level skyrockets as he fights frieza's army as indicated by the rising numbers in the lyrics of solid state scouter.
The only saiyan stronger than him by the very end of his fight is the king,although he might have been even stronger,but sadly nothing compared to frieza,even super saiyan wouldn't have saved him.
Edit: Bardock was actually way beyond even the saiyan saga by the end of his final battle.

If you lose in dlc story mission then you create a new timeline in Xenoverse 2 where Bardock succeeds and saves the Saiyans.
That Solid State Scouter made this battle more epic than I expected

I am kinda sad they didn’t have a cameo of Gine. I know she only appeared in Minus and Super, but other games with Z Bardock and Gine in them have them act like they are together and are the same versions each other know.
They could have done that here. Maybe even have Bardock’s team know her in this.
CC2 follows the Z stuff only. I heard they hate DBS worth a passion.

I honestly wished that Gine made a cameo in this dlc. Dragonball Z Kakarot included Beerus, Whis, golden Frieza, and even Vomi (Android 21's human template). So, there really wasn't any reason not to include Gine in the Bardock dlc. It was the perfect opportunity.

The absolute hype of the battle with the soldiers starting, and Solid State Scouter blaring, was so goddamn satisfying. Out of all the DBZ games, this one NAILED making you feel like you were playing the anime. The cutscenes, the music, the gameplay, etc..

Would he have had time to heal all the way, though? Freeza was on his way to Planet Vegeta, and if I'm remembering right, healing pods take awhile compared to Senzu Beans and Dende's magic.
not really tho. even with the boost (which would have raised him to around 600 thousand) frieza could have gone into his second form and killed him.

I really enjoyed how CC2 did Bardock's story. It carried a lot of emotion and backstory to how the Sayians worked under Frizea's ruling. My favorite parts are Bardock's battles and interacts with his team (although pretty short).
My only complaint is them not Gine and Bardock's upbringing. Would've enjoyed to see how work was before Frizea's ruling

Saiyan males don't put the time and effort into the family or nurturing which is usually the task of the mother; it would be a bit incoherent to display these scenes because it doesn't fit the saiyan mindset
@@pachekusdimitrescus1 I guess but I would've really enjoyed them showing how their system worked before Frizea took over. Like what ranks were there besides Low-class and Elites, what would young sayians do before getting drafted for planet conquering, was there schools, and so on

I have a sneaking suspicion Season Pass 2 is CC2 fixing old mistakes. Originally they probably wanted the game to open with Bardock like Roxas in KH2, from there into the "prologue" of DBZ Kakarot with the 23rd martial arts tournament, and then the actual beginning of the game with Goku and Gohan. Would've been cool and imagine if History of Trunks flowed into the story naturally, instead of being something you select in a menu!

He still wouldn’t have beaten him. Bardock’s PL here is 10,000. That x 50 is 500,000. Frieza’s 1st Form is 530,000.
