I have recently experienced the meaning of your karma is your own doing for all the wrong reasons but because i have also done some of the right steps along the way the recovery is possible. I keep turning back to the teaching "...once you make a choice, you make yourself choiceless..." and i can see now that i have the habbit of changing my trajectory after a few years invested in the path taken. I will probably see in time if i have learned my lessons and i will do my best to not repeat the same mistakes again or it means i just waste time and go round in circles. I used to take pride in my ability to whitstand hardships but it seems it is me that is creating the dificulties. Oh and try to avoid saying i dont care about something because its a nice lie we tell ourselves in order to ignore the reality.

well it depends on what you suffer from. I choose to suffer from social anxiety and negative thinking. so my first step could be to incorporate more meditation and seek friendships. also I am very mean and hyper critical of myself when I make a mistake, so another step would be to be kinder to myself. He speaks of being a good manager of oneself. what would a good manager do, especially knowing what he is working with? you should buy his book Inner Engineering.
As Shri krishn says in the baghvad Gita that our souls are entrapped in the bodies and that it needs to come into this world in order to either grow spiritually or rebirth again and again... Even the great warrior bhishma was forced to lay upon an bed of arrows painfully. Thats why the only thing we could do is the endure it. We could increase our resistance we still need to endure it.

For that you have to start low and build up to a strong foundation to be able to go further. Just give up all desire for some time. All activity. Take leave. Sit for long and just relax your mind first. Anxiety will vanish. No phone, no tv, no obsessive thinking. Just sit and observe nature. Take mud bath once a week. This is exactly what he is talking about. With this anxiety and stress, what ever you do well lead to failure. Find balance mate. Slowly include Surya namaskar in the morning.. This is a must do even if you have responsibilities to family. Coz we need to be strong first to serve others. Let's do this.. You can.

The idea should be about accepting all human being are imperfect and see ourselves and others with compassion. Not to further blame yourself that everything wrong is your own fault.
You want to accept others as imperfect before accepting your self. The only way you can accept yourself is by seeing this life is my own making. All other ways are just a defence wall to not take the responsibility fully.

According to Sadhguruji, if you have this inside you that whatever you experience in life, best or worst, is your own doing, instead of pointing fingers at external factors, people and situation, you will naturally lead to a place where you will be in a commanding position over your physiology and psychology. For eg, heart beating fast, breathing is struck or irregular, remembering some past incident or imagining something causing all these things to happen. And then be able to regulate it as you know that your life is your making, instead of external or imagined stimulus. This will naturally make you more regulatory and balanced with your mind and body. But this is only possible if you truly establish that whatever happens its your doing and not anyone else.
