In all honesty, even if this was made by a kid, it still has some really good game design basics. The game is not repetitive, every area offers a new challenge. You had to dodge giant rocks or jump platforms or fight giant mantis, there is legit more gameplay diversity here than in most triple A games.
What a unique and well-executed intro. You're not supposed to know exactly what happened; you have to figure these things out for yourself. All you know is that you are landed in this desolate wasteland and that you ARE the sole survivor. It's up to the player to imagine how it all came to this, just as it's up to them to imagine that they didn't spend $10 on this game.
Let me just say Charlie, your performance in "last of the grads" was absolutely outstanding, it was a work of art and beautiful and you played this horror role perfectly. The fear.
