My Uncle was a member of the New Jersey Mass choir. And was a dynamic choir director at my church I used to attend in NJ. He was featured in this video. He was also the construction guy holding the beam. His face was also featured on your video when I clicked on it. Rest in peace to my late Uncle, Mr. Willie Pryor! 💙🕊
That's so cool! And I will forever remember his name since I come back to this vid a lot:) Also, I love fun facts. I raise my glass to Mr. William!- Becca
I've heard this song a million times and it still gives me goosebumps every single time. The vibe is love and peace and goodness. We need so much more of this!!
Foreigner is one of the best bands ever; this was one of their “softer” songs 😊 Please react to “Urgent”, “Jukebox Hero”, and perhaps their best, (also soft) “Waiting For A Girl Like You”💎💎💎
That's a romantic ballad. Story goes that in the beginning they don't wanted to perform it because isn't rock, but they finally did and become a huge hit. If you want to check their heavy rock hits there is some of them: Urgent. Juke Box hero. Hot Blooded. Cold as ice. Double vision.
I'm puttin this out to the community, maybe it's a small enough world... in 1984, (there's a reason for the description) my all White, middle class, white collar choir went to compete in NYC, we were in Battery Park and somebody in our group started singing this, we half heartedly chimed in. At this moment, an all Black choir arrived as well. There was a moment of tension as my group was from 45 mins outside of Detroit, and sadly a Black person was as new to us as a free roaming male lion. Then the miracle happened, someone in the Black group picked up the harmony and 2 ridiculously separated groups of people made magic that day as the 2 choirs sang this entire song in 5 part harmony. There were tears, hugs and we parted and I want so badly to thank whomever it was in the other choir who for a moment looked beyond color and remembered only the beauty of the music. I carry this memory with me every time i hear this song. Music really is the universal language 🧡🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
When I saw these guys in Huntsville AL they brought out the Alabama A&M choir and blew the joint up!!! First time I ever saw a concert and wound up being taken to church!! It was awesome!!
Lou Gramm was the lead vocalist before he quit. Mick Jones played keyboards in this song. Lou Gramm is a fan of 1950s to 1960s r + b and soul. This is an original. Controversy. Credit says, "written by Mick Jones", but Lou Gramm claims credit + demands royalties. This is similar to Danger Zone: credit says, "written by Georgio Moroder", but Kenny Loggins claims credit + demands royalties. Great singing! 👨🎤👩🎤👨🎤👩🎤 Covers. Mariah Carey covered this song. Morissette Amon covers Mariah. Suggested video: Morissette Amon sings I Wanna Know What Love Is in MYX. Morissette Amon is from the Philippines. 🇵🇭 Suggested next Foreigner video: Waiting for a Girl Like You. 🇬🇧🇺🇲
I watched a woman do a reaction to this video and song. During the whole time the video was showing she never once open her eyes to watch the video. I think the reason people love this song is because of the video that goes with it. Watch it again this time with your eyes open.
It’s a classic 1980’s pop ballad and the r&b you here is the New Jersey Mass Choir out of Newark NJ This song was a enormous billboard number one back in 1985
We always joked that Foreigner was a virgin band group. This song, 'Feels Like the First Time', 'Waiting for a Girl Like You'. 😊 And they had other 'love' songs besides those.
Saw them in concert with Def Leppard! AMAZING concert night for sure!! Foreigner has been around since the 70's...great band!! Qhen they came to our city they had arranged and met with our local high school choir in Moline, Il and they sang the choir part. It was so frickin' cool when they came out on stage.
Beautiful song and video. I Was forced to search "what is love" after this and was shocked to read the most perfect exposition of what love is in, of all things, 1st Corinthians chapter 13 of the New Testament of the Bible. Mind blown!!!
So listening to this song on the radio back in the day, we all thought it was about romantic love. But watching the video, you can see it was mainly about love between people -- black, white, etc. -- ALL people. And that's a very lovely sentiment.
GREAT choice. Such an incredible song. Such an incredible band. True 70’s and 80’s legends. They have an extensive catalogue of incredible music. Hope you check out more. For example: Head Games, Urgent, Hot Blooded, Cold As Ice, and my personal favorite of theirs, Waiting For A Girl Like You, just to name a few. Their lead singer had one of the greatest voices ever, with some of the greatest rock songwriting ever. They simply don’t make music like this anymore. Soundtrack of my childhood too. Slow danced in 6th grade to this song at our school dance 😂 But the way the song builds and builds, then finally crescendoing with that gorgeous choir at the end, well, when they kick in and he goes full throttle with his vocals, I still get chills. And it actually makes me tear up a bit. Every single time. Even after all this time. Because this song is indeed, timeless.
Foreigner was kind of groundbreaking at the time by bringing in a choir like that to sing the chorus in a predominantly white scene.... it was a moment in time of peace, respect, and brotherly love. Why can't we be like that everyday?? I remember watching this (on MTV) when I was super young when it first came out and tearing up because it was such a beautiful thing.
My aunt remarried in 1985 and this was her wedding song.. I thought it was appropriate but damn Foreigner has a whole catalog you can react, to I see so many great suggestions!!
I am so happy that you have found this song. It's been one of my favorites since it's release. There is so much meaning in this song. Not just on a one to one level. To me it encompasses love for ALL of mankind. That chorus still sends chills through me even today. Lou Graham's is phenomenal in my opinion. So much soul and feeling in this song. This is one of the few ballads Foreigner does. If want to hear a great song, listen to Juke Box Hero, Urgent, ,Cold As Ice, Double Vision,Hot Blooded. All favorites from this band, Blessings to you and your family
I feel like there isnt slot of difference between hard rock and rap, and soft rock and r&b. So many comparisons between them. It's why you gotta experience all types of music soul, blues, country, classical. They all are relatable to so many. Loved the reaction
This is the song we played at my aunt's funeral. She was 6 months shy of her 30th birthday. She was addicted to cocaine and she didn't see a way out of the addiction. She had a 10 year old son. She loved this song.
I look at this song nowadays as The REAL way Americans feel about each other. WE are AMERICANS, LOVE each other, quit the hate. Agree to disagree quit hating others you don't agree with. Love the song, great reaction as always.
I saw a Swedish film in high school in '98 whose English title was "Show Me Love," (I won't repeat the Swedish title) after the Robyn song, and this song was featured prominently in that movie. Obviously at the time, there was only one reason for me to see it (Google it - after you watch my man's reaction here...I was 16 at the time) at that age, but having watched it again recently, I really appreciate both the movie and how well done it is and how realistic it is for teenagers of that era like myself, and how great the song is and how well placed it is in the movie. By the way, the movie was NOT what I expected and while I was disappointed at the time as a teenage guy, I'm glad I sat through it now as an adult. It made me emotional how realistic it was, especially for a foreign film, of what growing up is like, whatever your gender or orientation is.
That Is Jennifer holiday,Billie holiday’s daughter at the end On backup vocals. Something I just discovered tonight is the Dimash opera too I really think you should check it out and do a reaction Love this!!
Correction Jennifer holiday is not billie holidays daughter- And I always thought that was true. But then I had to Google it just to make sure I was telling you correct stuff
watching some of your older videos of some of my favorite bands.... would love to see you listen to some more Foreigner: Hot Blooded Dirty White Boy both a little more rock that this video..... ENJOY!!!!

The New Jersey Mass Choir made this song.
That's so cool! And I will forever remember his name since I come back to this vid a lot:) Also, I love fun facts. I raise my glass to Mr. William!- Becca
wow… that is awesome. RIP to your uncle.
Let’s all raise a glass to your uncle
I've heard this song a million times and it still gives me goosebumps every single time. The vibe is love and peace and goodness. We need so much more of this!!
One of the most under-rated voices in Rock. Period...............actually the whole group is pretty damn good aren't they.
Lou Graham has one of the best voices in Rock history!! He can sing anything, and his range is off the page. Listen to the first album. Foreigner
Yes, I absolutely agree!
It sounds like a message the whole world needs to hear now,,,Beautiful...I get tears in my eyes every time I hear this...hats off brotha
YES YES YES I just said this today when hearing it.
yes you are so right... this age 2024 we need this mentality
Foreigner is one of the best bands ever; this was one of their “softer” songs 😊 Please react to “Urgent”, “Jukebox Hero”, and perhaps their best, (also soft) “Waiting For A Girl Like You”💎💎💎

🤔
Yes!😀
Lou Graham still has legend status in Rochester
That's a romantic ballad. Story goes that in the beginning they don't wanted to perform it because isn't rock, but they finally did and become a huge hit. If you want to check their heavy rock hits there is some of them:
Urgent.
Juke Box hero.

Double vision.
cold as ice 🔥🔥🔥
Their "JUKEBOX HERO" is truly a rock anthem.
Juke. Box. Heeeerooo! With stars in his eyes!!!!
Yes, it truly is
Gotta listen to the right version. Must be the right lead singer.
nooo ..lol

One of the most beautiful songs ever. I also love their rock anthems (especially "Jukebox Hero". Lou Gramm's voice gets me every time.
They just took you to church. A spiritual message for sure, for lonely people everywhere. God Loves you.
All the power rock ballard front guys could take their voices to the next level. Some of the best songs ever sung!!🥰🥰
its just pure soul, makes my heart melting, giving me goosebumps all over ... no matter how often i heard it.
You can’t go wrong with Lou Gramm! Absolutely amazing singer!!
When I saw these guys in Huntsville AL they brought out the Alabama A&M choir and blew the joint up!!! First time I ever saw a concert and wound up being taken to church!! It was awesome!!
It's when he says "I'm feeling so much love" at 6:31 for me.
its all about the love!

Good music always hits you in the soul, on a cellular level. These musicians give a part of themselves for their fans. No electronics at all!
Foreigner is my favorite group and the song is my favorite also
The 70's and80's. All about love , togetherness and having fun.
I absolutely love this song... no matter how bad, how off key, I have to sing the chorus
You and me both lol
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If only we could achieve this level of love for each other as a people !!!
Bro this song is academy award platinum song
Lou Gramm could sing his ass off....rock, pop, blues, all that 😎
This brother, is in my all time top 10
I think music can bring the world together !! My opinion ..it has for me watching TH-cam and songs and videos like this one !!
I watched a woman do a reaction to this video and song. During the whole time the video was showing she never once open her eyes to watch the video. I think the reason people love this song is because of the video that goes with it. Watch it again this time with your eyes open.
I disagree. We all heard the song first on the radio, no video. Video distracts from actually listening to the song.
Love this song...love!!!
It’s a classic 1980’s pop ballad and the r&b you here is the New Jersey Mass Choir out of Newark NJ This song was a enormous billboard number one back in 1985
Foreigner are a super smooth rock band and this is an epic Rock ballad
Sing the chorus with all your soul!!! That’s what I do.
Me too my friend , I love it , I saw these guys in concert

When I saw Foreigner in concert in the Late 80's when they played this song they had a full Choir on stage with them

We called this soft rock back in the day
It has been in movies, commercial, and spoofs. This is that classic "Baby Making Music".
I feel like there isnt slot of difference between hard rock and rap, and soft rock and r&b. So many comparisons between them. It's why you gotta experience all types of music soul, blues, country, classical. They all are relatable to so many. Loved the reaction
"URGENT" BY YA BOYZ

Lou Gramm has a voice! Great Reaction 👍
This is the song we played at my aunt's funeral. She was 6 months shy of her 30th birthday. She was addicted to cocaine and she didn't see a way out of the addiction. She had a 10 year old son. She loved this song.

Foreigner 4 ... one of the greatest albums of the 80s. Where is new music that hits hard like musicians used to make?
This is what is known as a power ballad. The Scorpions are well known for some of the most iconic ones of the 90's
A classic. It was a big hit back then.
What a great song!! Loved your reaction! A great song is a great song,,,,,,,but then you add an amazing Choir to it. Day- ummmmmmmm
You should listen to “Urgent” one of their best songs in my opinion
Hit that note and the girl appears :)
When I was 16 a older friend had a foreigner 4 8track I popped it in her car and I was a fan from that moment on ❤️❤️
That Is Jennifer holiday,Billie holiday’s daughter at the end On backup vocals.
