When you go back to grab that stick (😉), you should do a quick performance comparison between the 6ah Forge battery and the 8ah the saw comes with. It knocks 0.3lbs off the total weight of the saw AND adds a noticeable bump up in cutting power, but presumably reduces runtime at least 25%. Also curious on your take between 12" and 14" bars for top-handle saws.
I've got the milwaukee top handle ,i was using the 5ah battery, but I've just switched to the 6ah forge battery and its took it up a notch , plus no more overheating batteries.
In a tree, I've always preferred Stihl for the last 35 years, yes us old arborist still kicking I'm now on the 201 ( preferably a old 200) but well impressed with the msa220 & the 300, as a game changer in the tree as getting older, ops Just found the multi tool &all me old attachments fit, so moving forward I'll stick with Stihl
@@MachineryNation when I first started, husky was better on the floor, in the woods, then the smaller saws had a lot of carb problems, but the last few years there coming back. I love me 455 rancher & still use a old 266 for firewood at home
I sub out tree work... Trees just scare me 😂 very impressive though, only going through 2 batteries! I wonder if the new forge battery would have lasted by itself 🤔
Nice work on the tree but the saw is complete rubbish for an arborist. Its heavier than an 020t, it doesn't cut faster than a 35cc gas saw unless you have the chain on backwards and the ergonomics are terrible. The dead mans switch on the top is fiddly and the saw gives no warning the battery is about to overheat and stop in a cut which is quite bad when you are removing a top and half way through the back cut. Its ok for a gardener doing little trimming jobs but its not an arborists saw. Good work by the young lad nice to see younger people knuckling down to a bit of hard graft!
Tips for a future in tree surgery would definitely be “NOT to climb Ash die back trees “if you want a future 🤷. Seriously dangerous trees that are safer taken down via a man basket and really not worth the risk even to be on camera ☹️
good name for a tree surgeon
Haha, yeah for sure!
I second your suggestion: time for Milwaukee to add a twin-battery 20" ground saw to the line-up!
Great job, but you would not catch me up there lol 😂 nice powerful bit of kit
Never used a top handled saw in anger. Impressed with what Lars was cutting with it. Be good in an area where noise may be an issue
Nice Job Lars rather you up there than Me 😀😀 Thanks again
For sure, he has some balls that’s for sure!
Hi mate , these tree surgeon types are bloody nutcases you’ve got to be to do that it’s impressive though.👍
All these battery saws are great but ye can't beat the sound of a two stroke
The sound of a 2 stroke is in our hearts
And the fumes are in your lungs .@@MachineryNation
Please do a review on JCB 216 piece socket set it's in their new automotive range and seems cheap for what you get
We will look into it for you 👍🏼
1:02 shows the stick in the lines before I started
Still can’t see it mate and also waiting for you to come back and get it down 😂😂😂

Welldone Lars fair play mate done a good job. We run Echo cs2511 top handle and the husky T535ixp on 4.2amp batterys 👌
Thanks Jacob. He done a cracking job hey!

It does for sure! We have a short coming very soon
How long does it last?
Fair play💪
Just need a timberwolf to finish off.
I noticed the real saw came out towards the end,
I use Husky 540 Xp and Stihl 201.
Husqvarna t540ixp👍
Thank you for sharing

Love my M18 top handle, but that spanner went bye bye on the first outing; never to be seen again. Maybe orange paint would have worked better.
Yeah an illumines spanner does make sense!
Don’t find too heavy?

He would have done a professional risk assessment and survey before he climbed it
Hahahaha you're a fucking clown bud I climb ash dieback every day and I'm still here to tell you how much of a pussy you are
