However, with the services you mention, have you tested both through the Chrome browser and the Android app version? walmart and best buy say its not a touchpad screen
Hi - as I explain in the video 01:27 and I detail all model options as mentioned in the video description. I expect you're seeing one of the variants below of this 315:
* CB315-4H-P0FH | NX.AZ0AA.009
* CB315-4H-C6MH | NX.AZ0AA.003
Carefully check the specs of exactly which CB315-4H it is they're offering.
My wife wanted a “big” laptop for Xmas. I got this for $150 at Best Buy early Black Friday. No touch screen tho.
Nice....but if size REALLY matters - th-cam.com/video/f8xIhxuI8gU/w-d-xo.html 😎 (Partial) jokes aside, just double check your spec gives you a FHD not just 'HD' display as I mention and out of interest did you get the Pentium Silver N6000 with 8GB RAM too at that price?
Pls put me through on the set up.
I got one few days ago, but cant set it up. It keep saying "Network not available" when determining device configuration. I used the guest mode and there is internet connection as i can use the web.
Ive tried to restart, powerwash reset, but its still bringing the same thing.
Has anyone ever experienced this.... Kindly help me out
Can you test by connecting to another network and see how it performs, try a hot spot from your phone?
@@MergeDroid yes I've done that. A Hotspot of my phone and from another phone.
Internet connection is going in guest mode, but its saying network not available in the real page of setting up the chromebook
@quadri6549 when you go into guest mode and have the connection, can you open the Settings, check 'About ChromeOS' (bottom left) and then check for updates to update ChromeOS. Out of interest let me know what version it's on, v121 is what it should be as the latest or update to.
@@MergeDroid okay, let me check that right away
@quadri6549 🤞
What is biggie from trolls on about bru

Hello
Hi again! No Chromebooks were harmed on this video 😂
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi! Liking the video and the Chromebook? Got one or thinking about it?
I got it and I’m so disappointed.. I got it on Amazon now I hope I can exchange it
This same model spec with the Pentium Silver N6000, 8GB RAM and the touch screen? What are you disappointed about?
I use gaming laptops like Lenovo Legion 5 or Asus TUF A15, or older Thinkpads like X1 Carbon gen 4 or T480 and I have to say that this Chromebook even with Celeron n4500 is quite nice terminal for surfing the web or watching TH-cam or Netflix. What was the reason that make you feel this way?
Yes, I'm also curious to understand more. No context in the original message unfortunately.
Do these chronebooks have bluetooth.. no mention of wireless connectivity for mousevor headphones..
Yes they do. Apologies if I didn't mention in this video, I always do in the more recent unboxing and reviews.
Hi, just replied to your other comment. Is it this same generation with the Intel Celeron N4500 or Pentium Silver N6000?
This is absolutely ridiculous. 20 different models all named the 315.
Totally normal I'm afraid and not just an Acer thing. Think of it like a car, you'll have Ford Mustangs from different model years and they'll all have different specs options for engine size, interior trim etc. Narrow down first by model year, then by the processor from that year and then other options like the display, back lit keyboard or not etc. Let me know if I can help.
Hey I went and got this one from Walmart, the base model version. Good machine but it doesn’t come equipped with location services, wanted to use Sportsbooks with my laptop. Any tips for a HP that’s similar that has location services? Appreciate you @mergedroid
Hi, I don't think you'll find any Chromebooks with a GPS chip like you'd find in your phone. However, with the services you mention, have you tested both through the Chrome browser and the Android app version? I'd test both and give the location permission to the app and also via the broswer if/when prompted. They'd usually use your IP address to determine your location. Hope this helps a bit or let me know if I've misunderstood.
@@MergeDroid I should of read the fine print for these sportsbook sites they only allow MacOS or windows, they specify chromebooks are incompatible. Thinking about just returning and getting,, HP 15.6", Laptop Intel Pentium Processor 4GB RAM, 128GB UFS, Scarlet Red, Windows 11, 15-fd0083wm
@RobLavinci oh right. Interesting, can't be to do with a GPS chip or similar for location though, as Windows laptops won't have those either. If you're looking for a Windows laptop I'd really try and get one with 8GB RAM minimum if you can.
@@MergeDroid Definitely can’t afford one with a chip, so from my understanding you download a link with geocomply, but those links are only compatible with Windows or MacOS. Don’t think you need a chip, but they track you through your IP Address with the software called geocomply. Thanks again Mereg I’ll let you know how it goes !
No, no laptops really come with GPS chips. Is it possible they want you to download and install their software that is only MacOS and Windows compatible? What error or behaviour do you get when you try on your Chromebook?
I also ordered acer crombook 315 Amazon India Price 15999
Hi, I hope you'll like it. What spec did you get for that? Pentium N6000 or Celeron N4500 and RAM, storage and touch or non touch display?
How is it dude?
Did you got for it too? Is it the same spec as I had?
