With all due respect, and Im sure its for religious purposes.. Which I hold in high regard. But, You only get one ticket, might as well enjoy the ride.. As long as we are not hurting our brethren, a simple act of human enjoyment may not be all that bad.... Are there NO allowances in life? A simple, single guilty pleasure....

Looked amazing if not a little overcooked. What were the herbs though? No idea on the first one but the second looked like dill, which Id never of thought to put with pork.
Its a small type of basil, often called Mexican Basil in the west but its called Viet/thai basil in the asian community and it comes with a milder flavor, less perfumy than regular basil but has the sweet savory notes. But full list is, Thai Basil, Dill weed, shallots, garlic, dried rosemary. There is also a reddish brown powder in there that is probably ground chili or paprika but i would expect paprika to be staining everything to all hell.

At the beginning of July this yr, I visited Taipei first time.
I enjoyed 孔明羊湯 very much.
I'd love to try that crispy pork but unfortunately i'm not allowed to eat pork, so in this life i just have to enjoy looking at it.
