    Watch 'Who Rules America? Complete Series' here: • Who Rules America? | C...
    We live in the United States of Surveillance - with cameras positioned on every street corner and much more invisible spying online and on the phone. Anyone paying attention knows that privacy is dead. All of this is not happening by accident - well-funded powerful agencies and companies are engaged in the business of keeping tabs on what we do, what we say, and what we think.
    To many in the world today, the face of America also has a big nose for sniffing and sifting mountains of data - phone calls, emails, and texts. And with many mouths silenced by paranoia to keep what they decide is secret, secret. America has become a Surveillance-Industrial State where everyone’s business has become its business, and where one huge US intelligence Agency has been given the sanction and unlimited amounts of money to spy on the whole world.
    Mass Surveillance is the focus of this new 6 part investigative documentary series examining who is watching whom and why.

      I am so sorry that we have left you this country and this world. I can now see how foolish we have been over the last 60 years. Back when I was born, 1956! That was year the military industrial complex, began to control the executive branch of government. Listen to Eisenhower's last speech. When president Kennedy realized how dangerous the military industrial complex is, he promised to "smash the CIA into a million pieces." Less than six months after he signs order to remove our troops from Vietnam he is murdered and the records sealed. When his brother ran on an anti war campaign in 1968 he too was murdered. Now please pay attention to this, listen to what RFK jr is saying, he is telling more truths than any other politician in America today, he should be your generations president. No other politician in America has a better track record of supporting vital human and environmental causes! The Corporations, the Military Industrial complex hate him, big pharma hates him! This IS why the youth of America need to elect him!

      yeah for real. this doc was made in 2013-2015. BEFORE facial recognition in walmart. BEFORE social media was listening to our conversations in order to place ads. BEFORE browser fingerprinting. BEFORE 360 4k surveillance cameras (which see 360 all the time, they don't need to "move" or "zoom" they can retroactively zoom and pan/tilt... these were first being installed in grocery stores/walmart around 2015[1080p] - 2018 [4k]). BEFORE google was tracking our every move on our gps timelines (you can opt out, but many don't, or don't realize they even can, it's on by default btw). BEFORE ancestor geneology was being used to solve crimes, a MASSIVE breach of privacy, despite it's technical ability to potentially solve a crime. BEFORE so many other things that began around 2015-2016, and really took off when smartphones became powerful enough, i'd say with the iphone 6/7 and the galaxy edge phones was when it really began hitting the fan as far as smartphone privacy violations. also, BEFORE all the pandemic vaccine requirements and employers ability to control that aspect of your life, which i'm still shocked hasn't flagged any HIPAA violation lawsuits anywhere (that i'm aware of). BEFORE A.I.

      Notice how Snowden comes to prominence periodically? It is because Snowden is a shill and they use him as a controlled leak, a persona red herring to maybe hide an operation where someone else who may be leaking it properly they can shut that other guy down without notice. I bet when it happens they are actually fixing a real info leak. People are way too naive if Snowden was a real threat they would have no problem violating sovereignty of another nation to silence him think about who we claim he has dirt on... do you really believe that they'd allow such a leak to breathe and live this long unless they're controlling him? 46:07 - for those who think snowden shouldn't have been a whistleblower, he lived in Hawaii and made up to $200k a year with a cushy job. Its very hard to point to anyone else that made the sacrifices he did for his country. Permanently lives in exile (can never come back without going straight to federal prison), left his friends and family behind, and threw away his career and any hope of a new one, etc. All to expose gov. wrongdoing that had less direct impact on him than any other American (since he had knowledge on how to counter the widespread spying on himself personally). If you think he had other options to do what he did without it simply falling on deaf ears your willfully ignorant or delusional.
    I kind of liked Obama overall, but imo his worst aspect was campaigning on among other things, a promise to protect whistleblowers, yet treating snowden like a common criminal or a foreign spy.

    Comment: It's crucial that we engage in conversations like these about America's Surveillance State. Balancing national security and individual privacy is a complex challenge in our digital age. While it's essential to protect against potential threats, we must ensure that surveillance efforts respect our constitutional rights and are subject to transparent oversight. Let's keep discussing how to strike the right balance! 💬🇺🇸

      1. We do not have any democracy whatsoever. The governmnet do not care what we think
      2. The survellience is predominately aimed at US citizens, to identify dissent groups that may be forming to challenge power, and swooping in and imprisoning its leaders
      When does the denial stop. The USA is a brutal imperialist regime, of mass murding war criminals thieves and thugs

    Governments will find undisputable advantages in having full access to all the information related to each one of the citizens and residents. That kind of information becomes extremely useful when it comes to fighting crime and prosecuting criminals. Also useful when it comes to demographics and health planning. Perfectly useful when it comes to have people under control. And it all works fine if the purpose of it all is the well being of all the people. But that is not and will never be a democracy. That is totalitarianism or monarchy.

    • @ENDEVRDocs
      @ENDEVRDocs  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +16

      Good question and here's a quote from the ACLU website: Hastily passed 45 days after 9/11 in the name of national security, the Patriot Act was the first of many changes to surveillance laws that made it easier for the government to spy on ordinary Americans by expanding the authority to monitor phone and email communications, collect bank and credit reporting records, and track the activity of innocent Americans on the Internet. While most Americans think it was created to catch terrorists, the Patriot Act actually turns regular citizens into suspects.
