thank you ever since they made low kicks safe Ive been grinding my teeth at these people that will be doing strings (some I reliably punish but thats not the point) its like the moment they gotta deal with someone elses stuff they spazz out trying to take back momentum. Tbh the most annoying characters in this game are jun dragunov and feng in that regard not a fan of gray health mechanics either.
I believe if you're fast enough you can also SWR the spring kick and close the gap with an F tap to launch them while their back is still turned to you. Although it's hard to do I like to have an option where I don't have to get which wakeup option they will choose.
There is strict timing on SWR or else the get up low kick hits. It sometimes better to low parry or use moves like steel petal that can hit grounded and is safe on block
I'm guilty of always throwing some wake up kick, but has worked well so far ahahah. I have to ingrain in my head that spring kick are launchable if blocked up close. I always brain fart and just punish with my 12 frame move, when I could get much more
I’ve seen some characters “float” their opponent or launch them for trying to do wake up kicks. Wish you mentioned that and the type of attacks that can float them
My question is why will rank players never learn. I’ll literally punish them on wake up abd the one time i say limme not side step, they still wake up😂

also if youre galaxy, on spring kicks during half of their wake up you can jab float them too! 🤓👍
