I'll just say I've had my P20 Pro since launch and am loving the battery. It's a total game changer to be able to come home after a 12 hour day out with heavy usage and have 30% battery left
It's 18.7:9 so that the notch doesn't cut out into the content running on the screen like it does on the I phone x...that extra 0.7 disappears when u choose hide the notch opition....and the screen becomes 18:9 again

Plus s8+ beat huawei mate10 pro in battery charging test, so as s8+ and mate10pro has the same battery size and charging tech(QC2.0 and huawei quick charge) as that of s9+ and p20pro respectively, I don't think it charges faster. Plus what's the part about 'has a customised skin on top', doesn't samsung also has that. Other than that everything else in correct.
Mohammed Yaseen no bro Mate 10 Pro has 4000 mah whereas S9+ has 3500 mah. Samsung use Q.C. 2.0 with a 15 watt charger whereas Mate 10 Pro use Huawei Supercharge with a 21 watt charger. According to the battery charging speed test done by Arun the Mate 10 Pro beats S9+. 🤗🤗🤗

Amit Kharod weird! From the dxomark camera comparison , the photos from p20 pro were over processed with extreme denoising that made the photos look unnatural sometimes. Didn't see a s9+ photo near that, but they compared the photo to pixel 2 and iPhone X and pixel came out with flying colors

Is there a particular reason you didn’t mentioned the rather fantastic pre-order deal whereby Huawei will give you a Bose QC 35 Mark ii? It seems like a no brainier and it makes the P20 Pro an awesome deal, at least during the pre-order phase (until 5th April), don’t you agree? Also, Huawei did a great job pushing a significant firmware update to enhance the camera experience on the Mate 10 Pro: I for one believe they could do the same here. After all, even the OnePlus 5 lacked image stabilisation in 4K at launch... ;-D

“6th place” you mean it tied for 5th and lost by witching 1 or 2 points from the ones above it. And I find camera comparisons funny. The iPhone always “looses” camera comparisons according to youtube yet the iPhone X beat every single phone on that list in a blind camera test (except this p20)
It would be cool to make a comparison between the Pixel 2xl the S9+ and the P20 pro just so we can see how the different setups of camera sensor compare to one another. An you should definitely make a battery draining and charging video as you did with the S9.
In everything from daylight to low light to AIS to zoom to bokeh to monochrome to AI scene selection to pro/manual mode to long exposure without tripod etc., the S9 simply can't compete it's not even close.
I don't own any of those, but had both phones in my hands and 8.5mm vs 7.8mm and 189gr vs 180gr, does not make the P20 SUBSTANTIALLY SLIMMER AND LIGHTER as you said at 0:33, in reality it's a very small difference!!

Technically every company is copying off each other. Samsung copied dual camera from apple, apple copied from chinses phones and who knows from there. Overall all companies what to bring you the best experience and that means improving on ideas other companies have made. That's one of the points of innovation, take something old and bring new life to it. If NO company could copy a bit off of other phones then Samsung wouldn't exist, only apple would becasue they all 'copied' the first iphone.

The biggest Flaw for me is No stabilization in 4K Video. My plan was to use it for TH-cam video shooting. Ohh well maby 4K is alittle over-the-top to upload anyways? (Got 100 mbit fiber optics over cabled computer) Anyhow, Huawei is so good nowadays & i hate Samsung/Apple as they are too big & they truly need competition. So most bets are on this one for me so far. Any other interesting phones you can recomend guys?
Buy a p20 pro with a ZHIYUN Gimble. Even better stabilisation then any phone could ever have. (I have a p10 with ZHIYUN smooth Q and the video in 4k looks literally like I always use a tripod with wheels to move the phone)

Egh...my essential phone was more customizable than my note 8....plus the google pixel 2 xl seems better..its all personal preferance and what and how you use your phone...im a picture taker...i hate samsungs over saturated pics....they dont look crisp or naturaul after editing honestly
I wouldn't say 'understand' us. The infinity display is patented by Samsung so if Huawei did the same thing Samsung would sue the shit out of them. The notch on p20 (pro) can be turned "off" for a more 'stock' experience. Huawei doesn't shove the notch down our throats like apple does.
p10 TwAt Samsung patented a specific method to implement infinity display meaning Huawei can cake a different approach to achieve similar result or make a deal with Samsung for using their method. About hiding the notch, it is just a tacit admission of hindering visual and inadequate idea just to blindly follow Apple trend that got idea from Essential.
I have traded in my non used galaxy s7 to get a galaxy s7 and before I was using an s6, the s9 is my favorite phone and I think it is very powerful and fast performing. Another great thing is the fact that it takes live focus photos!!

TechLineHD huawei said that its AIS is better than OIS and I think it even works even during taking photos hence less blur in photos during low light
S9 has no OIS in 4K but it is pretty stable

Egh...my essential phone was more customizable than my note 8....plus the google pixel 2 xl seems better..its all personal preferance and what and how you use your phone...im a picture taker...i hate samsungs over saturated pics....they dont look crisp or naturaul after editing honestly

I wouldn't say 'understand' us. The infinity display is patented by Samsung so if Huawei did the same thing Samsung would sue the shit out of them. The notch on p20 (pro) can be turned "off" for a more 'stock' experience. Huawei doesn't shove the notch down our throats like apple does.

Samsung patented a specific method to implement infinity display meaning Huawei can cake a different approach to achieve similar result or make a deal with Samsung for using their method.
About hiding the notch, it is just a tacit admission of hindering visual and inadequate idea just to blindly follow Apple trend that got idea from Essential.
Huawei mate 10 pro, no notch, same specs, slightly worse camera. Similar to the s9

I have traded in my non used galaxy s7 to get a galaxy s7 and before I was using an s6, the s9 is my favorite phone and I think it is very powerful and fast performing. Another great thing is the fact that it takes live focus photos!!
