- Sorry that this is just a one minute video. I unfortunately do not have a lot of footage of exploring with Panzer. There are some videos I will undoubtedly unearth however. I know I have some out there buried on a flash drive, maybe I have more photos, etc. I'll be sure to upload them when I do find them.
Panzer passed away back in 2010 (I think, time moves so quickly sadly, easy to lose track of it). He was such a good boy. He was the ultimate alpha dog. He was pleasant to explore with, better than many humans I've unfortunately had the misfortune of going underground with. He was always excited to go in, was first in and always was in business mode while underground. For real, the wolf was on point, had a serious face and always kept a close watchful eye on us, even if he wandered ahead of us, he'd often wait politely for us to catch up. The dog had to have been a miner in his past life. It's funny because he would sometimes go off on his own and do his own thing in the mine. I remember I was in working taking photos & he somehow appeared in the working from the side of something, he scared me, hah! I said "hey Panzer!" He would just ignore you and continue along with his exploring, what a funny guy. Panzer was like having a quiet friend along with you. He literally was down there to explore like us, how he saw in the dark was a mystery, it didn't hinder him.
Miss you Panzer! Nothing but great memories with him.
Please stay out of abandoned mines!

I wouldn't bring my Goldens into the mines. They're goofy, Jelly would get into trouble and Freddie would be so scared. Jelly would like it, but ya...nah. If you're a dog reading this....STAY OUT & STAY ALIVE TOO! 🐺🦴🐶🐾🐕🦺
See you in the next hole 👁️
@@MikeOrkid let's not bring moms into this conversation 🤫🤪
@@AnthraciteHorrorStories Yep...
@@MikeOrkid hahahahaha.
Awwww...Panzer must have been one awesome friend. Thanks for sharing!
Panzer was always walking the underground rail beds, smelling the timbers, hahahaha. He was too cool. Thanks for watching.
You never stop missing them.
Nice of you to bring him back to the forefront years later.
A pet is only gone if you dont talk or think about them.
Sounds like Panzer had a good life!
Thank you! Ya, he was the best. He deserves a small tribute for sure 🙂
A Terrific mine companion!
Thanks Robert. Ya, a wolf hybrid as your guide was funny. He was an old soul how he held himself. Big paws they have. I used to marvel at the paw prints left in the clay in the mine floor. Miss him a lot, he reminds me of my older Golden Retriever Freddie.
So rad!
You would have liked him. He was always in the zone, a very serious explorer. Lol
