I tried to capture all sides of the covenant, the beauty, the religion, the cutthroat politics, etc.
You forgot one thing, the terror of the covenant.
I swear every song on here gives me goosebumps everytime there really is no other game or music that captures such a strong feeling than that of Halo's. Thank you Martin and Micheal you have created something truly timeless!
To be honest some of the music on the Halo Sound track is awful as in outright genuinely bad.
Some of it is meandering and dull, and some of it is well bad Country and Western. overall there is maybe 20% of each Soundtrack that is genuinely good, and 20% that is terrible and the rest is derivative. Shame but the music gets a rep better than it deserves.... maybe someone needs to make a "worst of Halo music" compilation, or maybe the music just dated poorly like every game after the Halo 2 did.

Absolutely criminal music like this isn't or can't be used in the current tv show. Marty's motifs and themes from Halo carry so much of its soul, it's reverence, carrying the weight of stories, scope and themes that otherwise can't be experienced in a fps. It's crucial.
2:23 is very fitting for the covenant hearing that for the first time gave me goosebumps back when I was a kid halo 2 and 3 are my most favourites the memories of playing them back then will never die…
