If you have 4 -6 slides on a screen and the camera doesn't show what the lecturer is pointing at, and no;pointer is visible in the image, I don't know which one is being described or referred to, or even which one is Stropharia and which is Hypholoma, etc.Then she talks about red and pink and blue pigments, when all we can see on these slides is monochrome green! And the relevant part of the screen is a tiny little square in the middle! ... And sometimes the cameraman is so asleep that he doesn't even show us the slide at all when she IS pointing! It's a shame the presentation of this fascinating material is so casual, because she obviously knows a lot and is such a lively speaker, it deserves a wider audience, but all I really take away is the idea that fungi 'fight' each other (One could also say, I imagine, that fungi share space or set boundaries or compete for resources, but I guess fight is a more attention-grabbing metaphor!), and I miss all the details...
