Another clear example that if only people would respect farmers, and give them a fair pay for what they offer all of us, they would spend it on making life better for the animals or even better products to put on the market. I thank you Ian on behalf of your cattle for spending hard earned money on making life better for them in the future.

I absolutely howled at that Goose, just when you didn't want it to fall in the hole, it did, and then, after you'd climbed in to rescue it, it flew out and hit the camera, oh blimey, it was the funniest thing I've seen on your videos for the last few months. Sorry Ian, just when you thought everything was going to plan, never work with children and animals they say, too right.....🤣
Hi Ian, we always had a sheet of plastic laid on level ground and some old formwork made up slab size. These came in handy for making steps and leg stands for container stores and offices. But grading it around the water tank was putting it to use.
The Atcost guys would go nuts if a hole was an inch too big or deep.
It great being an armchair inspector and not getting my Crocs dirty. You will be able to swing a cat once the shed is up, good on yer. Take care.
Our local public parks in Cardiff are covered in ragwort. The City Council will argue that it's being environmentally friendly by not mowing, but the only plants that seem to thrive are ragwort. Blackberries, nettle himalayan balsam and docks - the place looks abandoned...
At one time ragwort was a notifiable weed, which meant if you had it in your land by law you were required to remove, I have an idea it was down graded . Hate the stuff.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 Your expression when you saw the goose in the hole reminded me of Victor Meldrew's (One foot in the grave) famous saying "I don't BELIEEEVE IT!!!!" and I just knew the minute you got into the hole the goose 🪿 would hop out of it 🙄😂😂😂. Then it got itself cornered on the wrong side of the gate 🪿 🤦🏼♀️😂😂😂😂.

I still laugh at the scene where Mrs P was standing at the fence when you wrangled with a sheep that brought you down into the mud 😂😂 Can't remember if you landed on top of the sheep or the sheep on top of you. Weather permitting we will be harvesting our wheat this week, and moving a bit of straw, I don’t expect to see a lot of steel work until next week.
Of course4 the Barn extensions will join the crew as Hay and Wheat need to come first. Seeing varying yields on other channels - but not as dire as feared. Good Luck.

If you put a stake in the holes and get your laser level to spot all the hights you know when you have enough concrete in the hole 👍

The Goose was funny. Good to have plans. Draw them out. It'll help make them happen. I like the holes. I wonder, how does he know how deep to pour the concrete and insert the leg things.

Like you said that concrete you had to spread out it will just break up under the cows and when you scrape up all the stone will get mixed in with the muck and feed and will end up out in the fields destroying your mower blades

Hi Ian I’ve had the same argument with some friends of mine about ragwort Have spent many hours pulling ragwort from hay fields
The big issue with ragwort is that it’s cumulative. An animal eats a small bit in year one and the poison goes to the liver and remains there. Year two the animal eats a bit more and the poison on the liver gets larger. Eventually the poor animal suffers then dies.
If ragwort is left in fields and the animals stand on it so that it does off then as Ian said, the unpleasant smell goes and the animal eats it, doesn’t need to be caught up in a bale of hay.
I have the feeling that there could be bits of ragwort caught up in hay this year, some farmers aren’t as scrupulous at pulling it out as others. If you’re a horse owner buying in hay you really need to trust your supplier.

When we did ours we framed and put bolts in right place before concreting
@@antonyfarming Tim will make the columns to fit the pads Antony, adding on to an existing shed is a lot harder than building one from scratch, especially if the ground isn’t level.
