    I love how you said you want to give teachers the type of PD they DESERVE! So true for our hard working educators.
    I’m actually in a role now where I’m supporting teachers and one way is through meaningful PD trainings. I’d love a vlog/podcast on your planning process for the PD you provide. Thank you for the inspiration!

    More vlogs please! I love your vlogs and I love how you think you don't do anything exciting, yet all of your followers find you riveting! I wish you could come to my school to present! I would LOVE to get PD from you. Those teachers are so incredibly lucky. What does most of the PD you do focus on? I'd love to have my admin get you into my school! By the way, can we just acknowledge how Ember is perfectly camouflaged with that blanket? I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next week!

I would LOVE to present PD to your school!! Maybe someday! 🤞🏼 Most of my PD is technology focused, but I also have sessions on small group instruction, teacher wellness, productivity, differentiation, etc. I've been developing sessions as schools and districts reach out to me with a need... hopefully that makes sense! Also, yes... Ember's blanket is perfect for her 😂😂😂 I hope you have a great rest of your week! 🖤

    PDs can be fun if you have the right presenter and the perfect content which you always do! This was fun to watch and I needed fun to watch because I’ve been down in the dumps lately with my job (quickly trying to move on with everything negative that has come out lately even though I’m trying to find the positive). • @derekg5563
      @derekg5563 ปีที่แล้ว

      @hollydye8857: It's pretty strange how gender-specific terms are supposedly a part of the curse we feel from the past, and yet sometimes, even with innocuous words like "hero," we want to go out of our way to make it gender specific, as if the lack of gender specificity is making us bored rather than relieved.
      The word "heroine" has been around, of course, but overall, I don't think it was especially prominent, at least not any time recently, and it seems to be kind of artificial and unprovoked to use a modified term of "hero." We have associations with genders that might seem to be useful shortcuts, but associations didn't really get us so far in the ethics of human history. By contrast, with a word like "actress," regardless of the origin, it's just something we're used to, and many just let that habit stay without any particular intention behind it; there are other habits like calling a room with all or mostly girls "guys," and when these usages are habitual enough, I think they do lose a lot of their literal meaning. However, "heroine" doesn't really come from habit, and so it feels like an artificial injection. I guess it can make things more interesting, but putting things into a gender box, again, caused a lot of problems and superficiality in the past that makes me wonder whether it's really all that valuable.
