Kwame Brenya comes to do altar calls. That’s it’s safe to listen to Ayisi. That they’re only being called to something peaceful. Something healing.
I’m in awe. My friend Michael introduced me to Ayisi’s work months ago and I’ve found a safe space in it. I’m just watching Kwame for the first time and the way their crafts blend so effortlessly, the stage, the costumes, and the spirituality is all a work of Art. Ayisi just gave me another gift, Kwame Brenya. I’m stuck with you two now!!!
