My great Grandfather was a tail gunner in an Avro Lancaster during WW2. He is still alive and he still tells me stories of how much a hell war was. He was fortunate enough to never have to use his guns but he still had to deal with the nightmare of flak.
@@beenthere.donethat What do you mean????? The B-17 plane in this video is the Nine-O-Nine. The real one crashed last month on Oct. 2, 2019. Didn't you hear about it?? What do you know?????
@@kurtvonkleist5237 Hi Kirk, It's not just those two. I find nearly all RC model fly unrealistically; ninety degree turns at a zillion miles per hour! Scale should, in my opinion, include correct weight to power ratio. The Lanc & B17 should 'lumber' in the air - not like an English Electric Lightning on reheat! :)
Very nice RC models and I love the large scale! That said, one of the only 2 remaining flight worthy Lancasters flies over my house and surrounding areas quite regularly, and the real thing sounds QUITE a bit different! 🤣
Love to see these big bombers in action.. I have always wanted to build and fly both of these planes. But, I have to many other planes that I have to build first. Lol. Sadly, I don’t have a B-17 or Lanc. But, I do have the B-25. I Love that plane as well.
Just out of curiosity how much would they each cost to someone starting out?...the b17 with number 2 smoking was a touching gesture...I also love looking at detailed dioramas of modelled ww2 aircraft on displays.

Thanks for sharing...
Fantastic ! Always wanted a Lancaster when I was a kid ( 50 years ago ) with a camera in the nose and ability to drop flour bombs.
So nice to see a model of the Nine-O-Nine!!! I was upset to hear that real life one crashed. May you always have blue skies and tailwinds!!!
I also commented about the 909 crash and some asshole responded that it has nothing to do with a video about rc. What a cold person...
OMG!! WW2 is back.
Amazing aircraft,,,true classic's ,,
One of my favourite planes
Brilliant video 👍
Wow, so interesting
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! :)
nice landings!
Great models to watch fly, but a painful ground loop on the first Lancaster landing.
How Powerful !
Красиво . И снято очень интересно.
RIP Nine-O-Nine!!! 10/2/2019
nothing to do with a video about rc

More weight needs to be added. They're bobbing around the sky like fighters. Doesn't look quite right.
Michael Pearshouse. I was thinking the same thing,,,but I think the wind was really kicking up

@@michaelpearshouse1100 in the rc world, it's always best to have too much power. Not to mention the planes are made from balsa and fiberglass.
Very cool...
