@@MadHattersReef very helpful. I was sonsidering a lawnmower blenny, but i am not having any issues with algae. Think the mandarin mifht be the route i take as i have a healthy copepode/amphipod ecosystem already.
Idea for another “top 10” or similar style vid. Top 5 different color fish. A list for top yellow, top blue,top red and so on. I know for me I like to have a variety of different colors for not only corals but fish too. It would be nice to have a list to reefer I mean refer to.
The sand hopper blenny I had one maybe I had a piece of 💩 but I had to get rid of mine because he ate two adult cleaner shrimp and McCosker‘s flasher wrasse.
Harry’s marine life actually sells blue spotted jaw fish for 80 bucks! It’s crazy! I’ve visited they’re store/wholesale location, and it’s a trustworthy place,and they have an online website!
I wish I would’ve never gotten a bonded watchmen goby and pistol shrimp. They are cool as hell to watch, but have to go! Anyone in the Phoenix area, if you can somehow get these guys out of my tank they are free.
@@MadHattersReef the pistol shrimp has killed a cleaner shrimp and fire fish. Maybe in a much bigger tank they are ok. But I would much rather have a cleaner shrimp that i actually get to see.
@@mikepeifer6502The idea of having them is ok, the selection was not done correctly. In order to have that combo and for it to not harm anything in the tank you needed to go tiny. I have a red banded pistol and a yasha, that banded is so tiny it can’t kill anything. I’ve seen it hit tiny hermit crabs they just scurry away the opposite way after a hit, it’s about the size of a dime and won’t get bigger than a nickel. Don’t give up on this combo it’s freakin awesome.
I have quite a few Dragonette I have access to bottles of copepods that I put in there probably every two months but I did also notice that these guys loved blood worms
