Mine mirrors are the equivalent of how cheating in some games would pair you up with other cheaters only
Mine mirrors are the card game equivalent of a soft ban lmao
Yet I rather play against Mystic Mine burn than against any combo deck.
Going forward the US has decided to replace the jail system with the Mine mirror system. all prisoners will be required to play a never ending mystic mine mirror for the duration of their sentence
and they all play the deckout variant with the pot that puts cards back into the deck :)

@@metis7534 i used to be mysic mine kid because i got tired of getting otkd to oblivion and wanted to punish meta. But then i realized that hand traps provide more options of back and forth gameplay.
@@furymonger5395 Honestly I don’t even hate mystic mine it’s self I just hate the fact people use it solely for stall and burner, why can’t people just use it to break opponents boards, why do they have to go the extra mile to make the community hate the card

@@LordBeau literally there's so many fun and interesting decks in the modern metagame and variations that may not be meta but are around the same power level of Mystic mine anyways and they just choose to play the worst variation of "fun"

Mine to 1 and terraforming to 3 would be glorious. You just have to out the 1 and then you are clear for the game and field spell reliant decks are playable again. But Mine at 1 still keeps people from playing 40 monster card lists.
I'm with you! I would love terraforming to three, but it probably wont happen cause field spells have gotten too OP. It's probably getting the ROTA treatment and staying at one for awhile, RIP
@@jhonalvarado906 The thing is most field spells aren't OP. There is Chicken Game, Mystic Mine, and arguably Light Stage. That is about it, otherwise there are decks that are strong exclusively because their field spell is strong. And the reason those field spells help the deck is because they offer consistency.
By hitting access to field spells Konami reduces consistency and does nothing about power. And hitting consistency is never fun, hitting power is much better. Keeps decks consistently playable rather than luck dependent..

@@Jusilau Spriggans and Marincess do literally nothing and haven't done much of anything in years. Plunder is at best a rogue deck in my understansing and their field spell is a consistency card, not a power card. But generally f"ck dino's. Yes Lost World is BS but they should be f"cked into the ground either way.
@@haruhirogrimgar6047 yeah, but if you can search those field spells more consistently, then the decks will get even better. Field spells in general are getting better like dragon link runs a field spell, dogmatika invoked runs a field spell I gave you rogue examples that can become tier 2 because of terraforming coming to 3 but I didn't talk about the tier 0 decks that would become even more broken if the field spell could be searched.

Not quite the same situation but once I was a section judge for a national chess tournament for youth. If you don’t know, chess has a rule where you touch a piece/opponent piece you have to move/capture it if legal. Long story short a player knocked an opponent’s piece of the board and my ruling that it was deliberate caused an outcry from parents and I was the bad guy for the rest of the tournament

Tbh, I feel the same when I see combo decks and my opponent is going through a ten minute turn. I want to play Yu-Gi-Oh, not to watch my opponent play Solitaire.
Currently I play a deck that encourages multi-turn duels (I can't OTK, and I have enough disruption that most rogue decks can't OTK me either so it leads into interesting back-and-forths and often primitive gamestates), but with how hopeless it's against Tearlaments and Sprights I'm seriously considering to become part of the Mystic Mine gang to force duels to last at least a few turns.

As someone who likes to use Mine for my Spellbook lock strats, I am so sorry that players like this exist, sometimes you get a similar control mirror, and they get you. But my god that was some intentional judge stall if I've ever seen any. Good job handling it as mature as you did.

I have a gold rare mystic mine. I could've gotten a access code, or literally anything else and I got my least favorite card in the entire game
Blue was going to lose so he wanted to get his opponent banned for basic stuff to win the game. This is why I hate DB
So p1mp got mad because he couldn't rule shark his way around Final Countdown. I can see at the end that it was at 14, so in 6 turns that'd bd an auto win for Elpi. Blue called 3 times to try and shark so he could get a win when he'd otherwise lose.
