- Why didn't y'all tell me about The Doux earlier?! I tried it on my type 4 natural hair and it is a GAME CHANGER for my curly styles, especially my wash-and-gos.

You are absolutely right. I am a 4c natural and I am now using both the Mouse and Big poppa gel in my wash n go. I am sold on these 2 products. They work great together. Your hair is looking so moisturized and defined.

Such a great, detailed review! Did you ever go back and try with the mousse then gel? If so, how were the results?
To be honest, their instructions on how to use the products are the way to go. I haven't used gel since I started to use the mousse. When you watch their tutorials they say no layering is needed and I concur. You just need to use more of the mousse. It should look foamy and then you'll get crazy definition and multi day hold
Thank you for sharing! It's good that the mousse alone works for you. I've tried the mousse alone as well and as much as I get good definition, it doesn't match the kind of definition I get when using both the gel & the foam.

Ouuu I have been wanting to try these products! I too am confused on using mousse...what are the results if you only use the mousse? Love the cut...and the products!

ok so I tried just the mousse and shingled... it still gives me defined curls, but not as defined as the gel and mousse combo. That combo leaves my hair with little to no frizz at all! The mousse is lightweight so my curls don't hold up well for very long with just that product alone. I hope this helps!

They also have the Bee girl custard which is so awesome. They did not have it in stock again so I purchased Big Poppa. Hopefully I get the same definition on my 4c hair.
Oh perfect! I actually purchased Bee girl a little while back and will try it out this week, so this gets me excited! I hope you love the Big Poppa gel.
@@DrusillaShay the bee girl is a little drying however after a day or so I also added some Scurl gel to moisturize it and I absolutely loved it.

You said it was a little in the dry side after 5 days. What would you have used to moisturize?
What shampoo and conditioner did you use? Did you use a clarifying shampoo first?
To be honest, it was so long ago that I don't remember which shampoo and conditioner I used. If I had to guess, since this wash was after I had a silk press, it may have been a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (either TGIN or SheaMoisture brand)
Hi there!! Im new to the "Doux" Game as well. Im learning how to Use Products the right way! Like you I went on a shopping spree right @ my local Beauty Supply which has a "special" section for Doux products. My hair is 4C. I twisted my hair last night and will take it down tomorrow to see what the outcome is. I have to get the Big Poppa Gel and Edge Control. Nice video review. Glad someone " hipped Me to the Doux❤

Your hair looks curly before you apply the product.
My hair is natural curly/coily, but my curls aren't defined until I add product.
