  • Although they can withstand a lot, there are some things I’ve learned (the hard way) that can help Sansevieria transfer over to water culture successfully. In this video I share these tips and tricks that work for me. 👍🏼🌱

Ooh that's a beautiful color - I haven't come across that before. Thanks for sharing it!

Isn’t it awesome? Online you can probably find one. One of my favorite Sansevieria. ❤️🌱

Great results! My Sansevieria do really well in soil. I tried (and failed) to root cuttings in water. I think your process would have benefited me. I'll use it if I ever try again.

I hear you. If you ever try again, just reach out and we can work on it together. It can be tricky. My soil experience with Sansevieria was horrible. I only a few times did it thrive in soil, but I wanted and easier way. 🙂

Not really sure why you would go to this much hassle??? Stick sans in cactus mix, place in bright light and water when mostly dry with a very weak fertilizer mix (probably 1/8 strength. My Moonshine thrives in cactus mix.

Even with cactus mix I’ve gotten spotty results. It might be an air circulation issue, not sure. Most of these are experiments to see what’s possible. 👍🏼

@@paultheplantparent2702 Great if you have that much time. I have too many plants and have a full time job to go spend them much time monkeying with this approach. If I ever have an issue with rot, I just add more perlite. Sans are probably the least difficult plant to grow. Slice off a spear, stick it in water, change the water once a week and when you have roots, stick it in cactus mix. Pups show up a few weeks later.

@@RichNDana monkeying around? Lol. What do you have against monkeys? That’s funny. It’s experimenting. Full time job here too plus about 300 plants. I just enjoy seeing what’s possible. It’s not for everyone so don’t try it if you’re not interested. Ive had them in soil, leca, Kokedama….it’s an interest. Not monkeying around. Sorry you’re so irritated. 😂
