I think this 13 minute video’s existence about a Star Wars character whose name, origins, and even affiliation are completely unknown to me, a humble lifetime fan, are irrefutable proof that you two are extremely massive nerds. And we love you for it.
Desann yes, but Tavion was weak. She was no true ruler. She went through all this work to resurrect Marko Ragnos so she could have a new master. Even then she didn't forsee him betraying her and taking control of her body.
I vaguely remember killing this boss in some easy and a bit humiliating way in Outcast(something like one hit Force pushing off the edge) and sweating over the last battle again her in Jedi Academy. Kinda conflicting experience
I always thought the moment when possessed-Tavion took the sword and threw the staff aside was quite powerful. The staff was built up to be the big mcguffin and super powerful weapon that had to be destroyed to protect the galaxy. But then, it turns out the staff was just a fancy scabbard for the real weapon.
Just a question (off-topic): do you think that HoloNet in Star Wars is outdated? I just thought that one thing that could receive subtle retcon was its quality. Instead of being like "one channel TV thing with no interaction", the HoloNet has the potential of being the Internet of Star Wars Universe. While old stories can't really be touched, it would be cool to see some Watch Dogs-esque things in new content. There's no need to make it canon but it should have a place like some offside stories (Without being condemned to live only in fanfics)

Basically, Jaden gets his own apprentice named Marr-Idi-Shael about a year after Tavion's death, and the two investigate the remnants of Thrawn's installations which leads to a mystery involving the ancient Rakata. After that, he fights alongside Kyle, Rosh and Jan Ors in the Yuuzhan Vong War. When the war was over, Luke made him a Jedi Master. Then Lucasfilm divided the canon so the rest of his tale is unknown.
I'm reminded how cringe the writing in Jedi Academy is. Rosh is basically Tavion's cuck boy, and the main character Jaden has a really awkward voice and terrible delivery

I think you can't defeat her by throwing her down the cliff, I think she jumps from it back to the surface if you manage to throw her in.

I prefer her character over Rey because tavion actually had flaws
I love Jedi outcast and Jedi academy which are both great games
I probably shouldn't watch these videos since I'm playing that series right now, but the temptation for Star Wars lore is just too sweet!
In academy, she was easier to beat than Kyle, he must of killed me 50 times at least
