I feel he may have felt that was his legacy when in actual fact his legacy will always be the joy he brought to others from S Club 7.

I was nearly 8 years old. Still wonder about him from time to time even in my 40s. I think I may have spoken with his wife once; I'm not sure...was doing a telemarketing type job and saw his name come up on the list (it's not exactly a common name, but might not have been him) a woman answered "He's at work right now. I'm his wife. May I help you?" She seemed nice; wasn't rude to telemarketers and even indulged my unprofessional questions "I'm sorry, but I have to ask....I had the biggest crush on a boy with your husband's name way back when we were kids...." she seemed amused, like she would have done the same thing in my shoes 😅

RIP Paul - tragic. How many more young people need to die before the media will discuss the elephant in the room. Look at excess deaths since maxine - I personally know of two others in the last week. One 52 and one 42, both without underlying health conditions. That the MSM are ignoring it, along with the political class, should worry us all....I pray this it not why a great talent and person like Paul died so young.

Was so shocked when I initially heard the news. I had even been binging a lot of S Clubs songs on youtube a couple of weeks prior and looking forward to the reunion tour. Those songs bring back a lot of childhood memories. Rest In Peace Paul.

I've been so upset for all of Paul's friends & family, S Club 7, but my heart breaks for Hannah 💔 it's so heartbreaking that Paul died at such a young age. One thing I know is that S Club 7 will do an amazing job at paying their respects & tribute to Paul on tour. It's going to be emotional, but it will be super special
It's understandable why she decided not to continue with the band on tour, she has a history with Paul, and losing him so suddenly is so traumatising and upsetting for her due to their history, she can't do it without him, basically... It's hard for her and the rest of s club

Yep I feel that , i really cared about someone that died a few years ago from health problems and I really miss her since , not a month goes by I don’t think about her and she died at only 19 years old. So sad

I think it must be really hard being in a band like that and then adtee all the fame and madness is over, you must be left with a real void and sense of not knowing where you belong.
The treatment and extortion of these young pop stars by the record companies is a disgrace and something that should be spoken about more.
S Club were famously exploited, worked in to the ground and paid a fraction of what they made the suits above them… What Paul went through these past 20 years should be the starting point to a much more important conversation.

It’s always been the case. Unfortunately due to social media and instant news he hear about every single case. However I wouldn’t be surprised if Chernobyl incident although traces were low in uk they could have contributed to some of the cases of early death? We know in places where the radio active levels are higher (or were at the time) that cancer and birth defects are a lot higher. Plus problems can carry on for multiple generations? But then again certain medical conditions just spontaneously happen for no reason. We just have to live our lives to the full, try to live a healthy life & make the most of what we have.

There have been a few recent deaths of young people passed away. Unfortunately some have health issues that were not found when they were alive until they're gone. Hope this sad news will bring more awareness of health screening and regular health checks for younger generation.
