Hi, I am wondering if you can show me the Vol 2 Drills Crazy 13 and explain... I have tried it but think I am missing something.
Using only throttle and no brake on a scooter is not easy! Great display of amazing skills.
I started riding back in 2013, but went with a bike bigger than what I was comfortable with. Didn't help it was a beater. It felt like a death trap and I hardly ever rode it. I've since sold the bike and been itching to get back on 2 wheels. I recently went with a scooter and damn glad I did. I think I've riden more on that scooter in 1 month than I had on my CBR600 over 9 years. For me, just being exposed on a vehicle with 2 wheels is terrifying enough. Riding the scooter has been helping me conquer the fear and build up that confidence to get back on a motorcycle. Though, I must say, not having to worry about shifting really makes the ride that more relaxing.
These exercises were great. Gives me more to practice. I've been watching your vids and applying the basics you've been teaching. Holy smokes, what a difference. Too bad you started riding around same time as me. Your vids could of helped so much back then. What's cool though is I see where I could have been skill wise, had I not fallen into peer pressure and started with a bike that scared the hell out of me.
He's treating the throttle like the friction zone on a clutch
This actually some good content to practice, we bought ourselves just a Yamaha Tmax 125cc, here in Belgium you don't need a licence for it so nobody is going to teach us anything. You have a lot of experience riding bikes I see so if you have more tutorials let them coming. Probably the best no bs vid at the moment! Great!!
thanks
Check your local automobile club. Usually they also have something for motorcyclists. Here in Austria, the ÖAMTC offers several classes for motorcycles, like "start of the season refresher" in spring, or different levels of perfection training for seasoned riders.
based on what you did, I would say I am a white belt at best with my Suzuki Burgman 400! Thanks for being so inspiring! Gotta get practicing!
Get to it!!!!
If you haven't already, check out MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, etc.
I rarely comment any videos, but in this case i need to say: Wow! Impressive.
Bought your app today and can‘t wait to practice. Keep up the good work.
Best regards from germany.
Thank you for the support! Write a review about it if you have a minute :)
@@MotoJitsu i will!
Except the colour of the helmet and the suit, everything is spot on! Perfect! :D Wonderful figure of 8s and weaves!
Good thing they’re mine 😊
@@MotoJitsu absolutely! One day, I'll be completing all your drills and belts! One of my goals!
Sensei Fast Eddie, I really enjoy you teaching us MotoJitsu (Motorcycling). Wish I could personally attend your classes, but I live in Hawaii. Learning great skills from your vlogs though. Thank you Sensei, God Bless !!!
You're welcome!!
The app is perfect. So happy I got it, now I can practice with confidence that you are nearby.
👍🏼many cool updates coming
Same here. Thought I was going to have to open up the ebook, but remembered I had the app instead
I downloaded your APP!!! Epic stuff to Practice, Practice, Practice while I SHUT UP!!!! Great stuff SenSei! Now I will shut up and practice when winter ends here.... 👍👌🤙✌🖖🙌
Thanks 😊 cool updates coming soon
Here in South Australia, the Brown Belt drills, are the level you have to pass, to get your full licence, R-Date 2.
Just no knee down stuff. :)
Very good to see a professional do it.
👍🏼
I would recommend every new rider to use the rear brake always for the circles shown in the video "blue belt circles" (for me like if you ride a eight shape). The rear brake stabilizes you much and you have better control.
I don't recommend that at all. I recommend mastering the clutch and throttle first before adding another variable.
@@MotoJitsu clutch on a scooter?
@@MotoJitsu Even most maxi scooter in my country Are cvt
i'm about to purchase a c400gt and am wondering about the specifics of the "crash bar" protection you installed on yours. in practicing some of these skills i anticipate dropping the bike occasionally so they will be needed. thanks!
With the black belt turning are you turning the bars as far as they can go? For some reason my brain just wont let me turn it all the way.
Well done mate on doing the App...hope you get many sales for being so helpful 👍
👍🏼👍🏼
Want to practice some belts on my ZX6R but I figured I'll definitely need frame sliders. Would you recommend them, and if so would you advice with or without cut and why? Thanks!
I just did Black Belt weave on my buddies ZX6R after soooo many people said it was impossible...ironically all those people who can't ride are now no where to be found ;)
Yes, frame sliders, I've had both never had issues..mostly because I didn't drop it. the times I've dropped the bike learning the most was on my previous 1200GS and it had super strong engine cages.
You passed 👍
Very useful video, nice and concise. It will go very well, combined with your new app, if I need to check anything when out practicing.
Top man...great skills!!
👍🏼👍🏼
Video request here! Any thoughts on doing a video comparing the handling differences between a scooter and motorcycle? I’m thinking differences in different scenario like around town, highway, and twisties for example. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts as I’ve seen a few other videos already but those riders were far more casual and didn’t push their scooter like they might on a motorcycle so the comparisons made aren’t all that great IMO.
There aren’t any. Every bike behave a little different but they’re not as different as one may think. Go rent one for a day and see 😊
@@MotoJitsu Thanks for the response! I figured the small wheels would make a larger impact on how it maneuvers around, but agreed, my interest is all the better reason to take one out for a spin 😁
Greg keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks
👍🏼
Very nice Motojitsu. I think I can do most of these while dragging the back brakes, without... No way.
More practice 😊👍🏼
Perfectly illustrating 'look where you want to go'
👍🏼👍🏼
Very useful training. I will definitely check out your app.
Thanks 😊
Unrelated comment, but how did you get to choose the right crashguard for a scooter? The ones I find are only attached to the footpegs of my honda PCX and I don't trust the design of the crashguard protecting the bike even just dropping it lol
Only ones I saw for this bike.
Viewed from a Burgman rider," YOU'RE IMPROVING IMMENSELY"! HE!HE!
Same here just got a 2013 650
😊👍🏼
excellent maneuvering skill and throttle control... 😁
👍🏼
Just got the app and ordered your Road to Mastery book. Simple question: How many cones do you recommend having on hand for setting up these drills?
Thanks! Only need 8 at a minimum 👍🏼 I recommend tennis balls cut in half :)
@@MotoJitsu Best method for cutting the tennis balls in half that you’ve learned?
bread knife
Where did you buy the crash bars and how much? Thanks
BMW

I guess your cradle was a motorcycle!... You amaze me every time!
:)
Going to copy this once I fix my bike. Going to try knee down on versys 650.
👍🏼
very nice!!! wow small world my friends just told me about another Maxi-Scooter ridin former Marine in San Diego, and I thought NO WAY...
:)
Did you find a significant transition in your skills going from motorcycles to your scooter? Is the ride any different? Are the techniques and skills any different other than the obvious differences including no clutch or shifting on a scooter?
Not at all...99% is the same.
If you haven't already, check out MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, etc.
How did you do????? You passed, LOL🤣. Those black belt parking space maneuvers are impressive. I need to continually remind myself to turn my whole head, not just my eyes👀
:) MotoJitsu.com for my new app, books, merch, etc.!!!
thank you for sharing. was doing the drills with the bmw c 400 x easier compared to your other bikes? keep up the good work
I made this more challenging by not using the brakes, if I did, it’s easy for me.
@@MotoJitsu thank you for replying. good job
I really want to practice these amazing drills. I'm just afraid of dropping the bike. I do NOT have any Crash bars they just cost TOO much Here in Australia. any other advice you can give to practice these Turning drills?
You know what will cost more than crash bars? Breaking your bike and having that fixed.
Are you counter steering for the parking space drills? It looks like you are.
Yup
Hi I was wondering van these exercises be completed on a 125 geared bike
I've completed on Benelli 125cc BROWN belt, than sold moto. I have to start from white on next one :)
Thanks I have a little lexemoto isca and wanted to practise on that
These can be done on any bike. Fast Eddie is doing this on a scooter, to prove it can be done (there are a lot of haters out there...).
I made the Noob mistake of buying a 1200 Bandit as my beginner bike. I practice these drills every Friday afternoon on my heavy bike, because, like Fast Eddie says, Shut up and Practice!!🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
Agreed I'm looking to start soon just waiting for the ice to thaw I thought I could ride until I watched this channel lol
I did these exercises on my 150cc Honda Verza XD
Amazing control FE! I gotta go shut up and practice now 🤨👍
Get to it!
Amazing video, thank you! I need to incorporate more of these into my practice routines. BTW you have a small typo @4:58.
thanks
Hey, great job on the belts with the scooters. Did you find it easier or more challenging to do them on the scooter compared to the motorcycle?
thanks :) I found it pretty easy overall but since I purposely didn't use any brakes for any of the drills besides the stopping of course, it was a bit more challenging, which is also fun for me to be challenged.
Would be nice if you could switch to "m" and "km/h" in the App. Please do an update. @motojitsu
Many updates to come
Video request! possibly some tips on throttle control on scooter
Do you use the booth brake during sudden stop or just the front only..
I am sure Fast Eddie will answer but in my opinion both breaks are important for sudden stop, yo will surely stop faster (my experience on F800GS)
@@bubblemw7 "both brakes" not breaks .....
@@firstchoicelastchoice28 thank you for your correction, I am not a native speaker :)
I guess Francisco understood what have I said ....
Both with the correct technique.
Yeah dope idea! Love it!!
:)
How did you do it.........supernatural power, ha, ha, ha !!! God Bless !!!

I do better than i thought, but this gives me much to aspire to and all the fun along the way.

That is a wicked scooter! I want one!
😊👍🏼
Will try this.....thanks again

from 4:50 i like how these counter steering turns works
"counter steering" ??? On that speed?! I strongly recommend you to learn what CS is.
Counter steering works at all speeds, and I was doing it with some of these drills yes.
You’re the one who doesn’t seems to understand you can counter steer at any speed @GMPST2000
@@MotoJitsu I'll go to course. I hope that I didn't undesrtand correctly CS at low speed. So I shut up and pra... eeee. learn.
Counter steering works at any speed.
Impressive. Should they ever let us out of lockdown I'll be practising these skills.
This is the BEST time to practice these skills!
@@mr.davisreviews9372 We are not allowed out I'm afraid :-/
👍🏼
Is the UK on full lockdown?
The lighter the bike the easier for low and high speed corners, why beginners should stay away from an 800 pounds touring bike. Also if you mess up the throttle or clutch for a low powered bike, you are less likely to crash. The big heavy bikes are better for feeling less sore and tired after 10 hours of riding.
What matters most is the skill of the rider. I can ride this scooter the same as a Gold Wing.
Just downloaded app it’s great help .
Thanks! Cool updates coming soon
OK, I already know what you are going to say but are you sure I can do this on my 900# Ultraglide with enough practice?
The bike is capable, yes. If you are or not depends on your skill.
You my friend are inching closer to Motorcycle Nirvana.. 6:15 goes to the frame!

I wanna learn those drill

lol!
@@MotoJitsu It's really a testament to how a good scooter can handle, even without clutch control.

@@MotoJitsu Exactly, Sensai XD
Very inspirative, thank you
You’re welcome 😊
How about a real U-turn on a scooter? Could you pls prepare such a tutorial?
I have a whole other video on slow speed turns on this
@@MotoJitsu yes, I saw it. But it was not as U-turnish as you can do on a motocycle 😉
@@MotoJitsu and by no means I am trying to challenge you 👐 I am just asking as I wonder if a scooter U-turn is technically possible to perform?
Did you watch the video? Of course it’s possible
I don't see a difference in stoppingg broo
Also is there a difference in weaving? Just tighter weaves I guess.
