- On a cold autumn day we take out the BMW C400X on a first. This German city bruiser impresses with it's light weight, tons of torque and premium options normally reserved for big bikes. Although the price tag reflects it's market place you can definitely feel where your money is going.

This or the Xmax300 for city driving?
I think I prefer this over the Xmax for the city, it felt a bit more special.

Unfortunately here the Piaggio dealer doesn't have a press fleet nor do they allow test rides 😒

Im searching for a scooter that can handle some touring (500 km trips or more) but I cant afford those 12000 euro things. Which scooter in the price range till 8k euro would you recommend? And how is your experience in driving scooters on biger speeds since they all have small wheels? Thank you
@@dib85 cruisym 300 is about the best touring scooter curently on the market, i have a video on the channel with it crossing the Bicaz Gorge. Check my channel it's uploaded about 2 months ago.
Yes,, why not heated seats for dony if good good quality & safe.
On the other hand,, comparing this BMW with SYM 300 Cruisym? Which one you prefer if you had to choose?
For long distance trips the cruisym is much more comfortable but for the city this is a lot more agile and small

@@EndritAl Just fun fact that those are made by Kymco for them in their China factory ;-) Then why to pay them these extra money when you can buy better equiped version with better underseat storage with lower price from Voge? ;-)

I couldn't tell if the speedometer was in kmh or mph? Either way what is the fastest speed it's able to go without pushing it too hard like is it able to drive comfortably on the motorway or autostrada?
It was in km/h but cruising speed felt ok at about 120km/h

You can also switch to mph in the menu, very easy. Also from Celsius to Fahrenheit

@@shh711 it's hard to say from a 20 minute ride. You will have to test ride them yourself. I only had short rides with both and I think the BMW would be a bit better if all you want is city.
I have the c 400 x since summer 2023 and it’s a fantastic Bike, so comfortable even for long Distance. My longest Ride was 350 Kilometers one Direction . No Problems with this Distance, the Knee Angle and the Seatcomfort is amazing.

Hmmm, it's a bit of a stretch and the maintenance costs are higher and also it's not as fast as the zontes.

😅 I don't know what to choose. Voge sr4 max smart? Bmw ? Has the same engine, bmw service is very expensive. Voge has bad suspension and you need to change it ( kymco dtx 360 , have better suspension).Joyride 16' or zontes 310 ? I am 1,76 and i am confused. I want something for my town and for good trips 200km + . Also at bmw you can change the saddle to 760mm , big tip . I saw at the store and Daytona virtus 300cc but this is different story 😂. Hello please what is your daily average kilometers with your sym st ?? And do you feel any engine drops after your trip and heavy usage ?
Up to this point I did 20.000km this year alone so you do the math :) . Depends what do you mean heavy usage, I feel a bit of a drop in performance after 4-5 hours of highways, like after 350-400km at 95-100km/h constant speed.
This is for 17,000$ in India 🙈

ITS BECAUSE ITS CHEAPER just like the whole bike is !!!!!! I dont believe the scooter will be reliable !!!!! I love my Yamaha Xmax 300 ....its the best Maxi scooter for the money 💰 !!!!!
If I'm not mistaken the Xmax is produced in Indonesia.
Its made china. That doesn't mean anything as long as the Chinese don't cut corners with quality.
I think BMW keep quality control in check

I don't care for a heated seat but I'd like you to try a different variator for Donnie!I see Malossi has one that promises better acceleration and top speed!!!Please!!!
Tbh I am very happy with the quality of OEM Sym parts, my curent variator has over 27000km on it and it's good for a lot more, I want endurance from it not top speed. It's my daily rider not my race bike.
Bmw C400 and C650 scooters have chinese engines made by Loncin. No way im paying over £2000 more over an xma 300 or Forza 350
They are not bad engines tho.
Voge has the same engine and costs less than 7000 Euro.
Xmax 300 is a much better scooter for the money 💰
