Already my second fly 125. The new yuasa battery is very good. Got this one already four years and I only reload it once every year before winter. Battery loader = 25 euro. For my first Fly, I had to buy two new batteries (which they charged me 60 to 80 euro for!) because it ran flat every winter (no kick). I look now on the internet and I find good batteries at 25 euro discount price! Knowledge is power! They won't rip me off at the garage again. Thanks for the video!
Brilliant video I like the editing it reminds me of a wildlife video of mice running around😂 When you said counterclockwise towards the front of the scooter I'm sure that was clockwise😂
Hi mate, not a huge fan of ladies bikes,....hehe....... but i viewed your video purely for the music and video editing. You need to make some more videos,i love them...:).....cheers
thank you very much. i think my battery is really worn out. need to buy another one. because I've did all of those recommended instructions. thanks once again ;)
Fantastic video. Exact, useful, informing; BUT to open or unscrew the spark plug you said turn it clockwise! and that is wrong. To unscrew you need to turn counter clockwise. I realise you have shown the direction with that arrow. So I take it. it was a slip of the tongue. Thank you for helping us out.
Well, it depends on what side of the engine you're standing on whether it's clockwise or counter-clockwise. He's over the engine and that's different than if he were on the other side facing the spark plug directly. But I agree with you that it's more logical to describe it as if you were facing it.
Very nice i will try this with my Fly... I have a question.. it is possible to start the bike with some kind of "kick" or something? other day my battery ran off and i had to call assistance.
I have a slow fly 50, and the adapter to remove the spark plug won't fit the threads... They are too deep. Anyone else having this problem. What can I do? Also great video.
There’s a blue electrical thing above my spark plug, just above the opening. Does anyone know what it is/does? One cable goes into it and two comes out.
Unfortunately, no. The Fly has no kick-start lever, and it has an automatic transmission, so it can't be 'bump' started. The clutch doesn't engage unless the engine is running. Check the water levels in your battery cells - unscrew the six little plastic caps. The water should be just covering the metal plates inside. If not, top up each one with DISTILLED water - not water from the kitchen tap! However, if your battery won't charge, it may just be worn out.
Why don't you remove the outer black plastic cover, then use a hole cutter to the size you find suitable to cut through the inner plastic to access the spark plug easier? Then never have the awkward spark plug removal ever again.

Hi Stephen, Can’t believe your into Piaggio scooters too. Just brought myself a Piaggio Tyhoon. Hope you are well. Loved the video. David
Thanks David. The scooter is no longer part of the family. But it was lots of fun while i had it. Cheers! SDG
Brilliant video

Thank you...I guess. No doubt it was the Coriolis Force at work down here that confused me.
A nice economical run around Stephen, safe riding 👍
Thank you, sir.
Everyday you learn something new, I didn´t know that clocks go the opposite direction in Australia... :D
Because of you i had to google what is that. I knew the effect itself, but not the name for it
finally found it, i have a derbi boulevard 125 and there are no videos of it but its the same moped lol

Im not able of putting the cap of the sparkplug back on. It’s pretty loose. You know what I can do to solve it? Thanks
There may be a part of the spark plug cap stuck up inside the plug removal tool. I had the same problem.
Do you know if there is a way to jump start the battery?
Nice job! Going to try this today
love the music, top notch
Brendan Ledwell Why thank, you. A small thing, but mine own. You are surely a person of taste and intelligence.

Stephen Gard thank you for the response sir. I will give it a go again when it's a bit warmer out. Then I will let you know. Thanks again
Well done!
+MrSparklespring You're welcome, sir.
With the box spanner it is not necessary to remove the plastik, so you don´t have to open the parts under the seat!
Pleasant style Video.
Engine like in vespa 125?
Don’t know. Maybe Google does?
@@ClipontheEar Google is for weaklings
No, but when I learn how to do, I'll film the process.
Yea i havent changed my plug in my Fly for over 12,000k's because it is such a pain to do, i need to though my Fly 125 hardly goes up hills now....
There’s a blue electrical thing above my spark plug, just above the opening. Does anyone know what it is/does?
One cable goes into it and two comes out.
I changed mine last week, pain in the neck.

Dude don't throw the old plug away, keep it in case of emergency. Just boil the plug into hot water. It'll work like a magic.
the music is abit like a orchestra falling down a flight of stairs - informative though.
Thank you. Not really hard, just a bit awkward and time-consuming.
Thank you. Yes, I guess this kind of vehicle is considered 'disposable' these days. Don't fix it, buy a new one..
What with the fucking music?
