Domo Cafe serves local auction bought ahi. I'm really picky about my raw fish and I've tried their sashimi and you are so right. You can trust that they won't try to make up for their affordable prices by selling you fish that isn't up to par. You found a consistent shop with very good fish along with good prices. Spot on, Misty! Domo Cafe is my go-to place for quality, fresh sushi, sashimi, and even poke. Service is good. So true about the parking problem around noon. Thanks as usual for excellent the recommendation and video.

Aloha Misty: Those were some great gourmet meals you vlogged about! I am remembering the cone sushi I used to enjoy from the okazuyas in my days - those were my gourmet delights during my times. That bento was the most healthy I have seen and must have been a flavorful delight - some shoyu, and wasabi, would make it “wow” meal. Pricing for the bento was good. Great vlog. I think I don't like the sourness of the rice and the texture of the tofu skin. 🤔 I'll eat it if I'm starving though 🤣 The bento was reasonably priced along with the sushi boxes. I'd go back again. Nah, no shame with the technical mishaps, this was still a great video as the "purist" salmon poke looked quality and fresh 🤙. Sometimes i'm in the mood for poke nachos with everything but the kitchen sink in it, other times i need to return to an ahi limu poke with rock salt. I enjoyed your videos with Orlando, it was great how you shared his story as well as some grindz with him 😊!

Hi Misty, Domo Cafe is definitely the place to go for fresh sushi. Have you tried the seared salmon bowl? The salmon literally melts in the mouth like butter. As always, thanks for another awesome video!
Hi Spike. I did not try the torched salmon bowl yet but trying the torched salmon sushi, I could imagine the tastiness of it! The only torched salmon bowl I tried was at Ohana Poke House in McCully Shopping Center. I'll be sure to try it next time. Thanks for the recommendation!

Nice! I'd like to try Capriotti's one day but probably won't film it since it's a mainland franchise. Let me know if it's good! Gina from Ohanaeayz says the bread tastes different from the original in PA Delaware where it's from.
@FoodFiend I've only been to the Kahala branch. Sandwiches are really stuffed. Not cheap, but worth it for what you get, IMO. Went to it last year when my brother was visiting from Washington.

Aloha Doug K. Yes same place. Just a place close by those restaurants to eat it while hot and fresh. My initial idea was to go to the park across the street but all the tables were surprisingly taken. Plus it's windy. 🤙
