Thanks for this, skid steer power with a remote and quiet of electric would make machinery much more accessible for me. I'm off-grid on 20 acres, batteries and solar panels get better and more affordable every day, i think this tech is going to be huge for folks doing small scale homesteading.
@sumatrican5990 WIth media coverage of battery fires, this is of course a natural concern. It is true that gas fires are more prevalent. Also, we use lifepo4 batteries which do not light the same as what has been seen on TV. "Contrary to popular misconceptions, lithium iron phosphate lifepo4 are highly safe and do not catch fire under normal operating conditions." Of course we have safety features where the front door or rear window can be exit points. Thank you for your thoughts! All these questions and concerns are good to discuss.
@inilegnam You have an interesting point and a valid concern. But the information you have is not correct. Our batteries (which vary in size and type) do not average close to that cost. And last for thousands of cycles. As for diesel, you burn it everyday...even when idling. So maybe there are many ways to view our equipment and its abilities???
the only real question is "why are we being bombarded with inferior electric equipment lately?" stop wasting dev money and go back to making better machines
GARBAGE MACHINE!!! We bought 1. Cheap build. Electronic problems. No custom support responses. Been in the shop over 1 month. Seal bealt disengaged. Security code doesn't work Battery runs 2 hours on continuous 24 hours if it just sits not moving. Mirrors fall off. Roof leaks Front fork just bent 90 degrees when curling the bucket. Front door just opens automatically doesn't latch. Motors overheat and machine stops running. Horn stopped. All of this with less than 80 hours of operation time. We recommend not buying...
Thank you I was wondering, but i figured plowing snow at 30 below would never work with electric motor for more than 10 minutes. I figured 6 hours would be massively optimistic, ill stick to diesel
I’m an acreage owner in Canada - this would be perfect for my summer and winter needs.

Have you heard of the Yuchai electric skid steer loader?
Have you heard of the Yuchai electric skid steer loader?
Awesome 💯
U hope you come to the show 28 September Soboba Reservation.
Did you put that fin'g commercial in the front or did TH-cam?
@karasCyborg Sorry, we do not control that.
I don’t want to be trapped in that thing if the batteries decide to self delete for sure!!
Of course, I don’t want to be trapped in anything so…
Batteries burn very slowly and battery fires are more rare than gas. Plus in this you can drive it remotely! They’re really cool machines!
@@CyberOwners sweet!! I could see this catching on in confined space work and plant work

Just wait till the $40k battery pack needs to be replaced

Ev batteries have a failure rate of less than .02%.
Lifepo4 or LTO?
And what to do with all hydraulic equipment?
Hey thanks for bringing that up. We use standard hydraulic couplers and a hydraulic pump so no need to go out and buy new attachments and accessories.
