The part where are you say the room is twice the size but the TV is still 32in and that he say what the hell, LOL, that made me laugh! You are right. What are they thinking? Nice review and I do love this hotel. I haven't been to that many places but I think it might be my favorite Hotel of the world so far. At least downstairs is exceptionally special.

Hi which hotel do you think is better that's a 4 to 5 star hotel?

For 4 star hotel I will recommend the one inside UCLA called the Luskin Conference Center. I’ve never stayed in any 5 star hotel in LA so I don’t know.

yeah I stayed here a couple months ago... the hotel itself is magnificent, but the room was crap lol

Yup. The rooms themselves are like motel rooms.

I can understand why you say there are better and cheeper hotels. But for tourists, who want to experience Los Angeles and Hollywood, this hotel might be an experience of it's own. I can't await to visit it in three month - but maybe just the lobby, without booking a room. Depends on the prices.

I would recommend this hotel if you're interested in Los Angeles history, otherwise it's not really worth it

I was expecting a larger grander pool. Water doesn't look too nice too😮

I know, right. Size is like a townhouse community pool.

pretty basic hotel. i stayed there in 2010 for a convention at the LACC (about 7 blocks away and 20min walk - you got better options for a little more on the dollar) and sad to say they haven't changed much. definitely not worth the $200 per night price tag.

      Yup! Completely agreed! It’s overpriced.
