I used to live in Orange County, but now live in San Diego, and one of the things I used to like to do when I was up in L.A. is go to Burbank NBC studios and pick up a free voucher to see the Tonight Show live for that day. You could pick up your voucher in the afternoon then go out to eat somewhere and take in some attractions and come back in the late afternoon to see the show. One time I even saw myself at night when I got home when they did an audience pan.
the next time u go visit L.A make sure u head to skid row and hang out with all your homeless buddy and do some fentanyl with them they don’t mind getting HIGH with u 😃
My dreams are coming true today! I wasn’t even expecting it. I’m visiting my daughter in Mission Viejo and she said she wants to take me on a tour in LA! She knows my bucket list. 💯❤
Korea Town, Little Tokyo and Chinatown are must dos imo when in LA. City hall and public library are also very nice art deco buildings from the early 1900s. The Natural History Museum is also world class.
Thanks for the video. It looks like you changed your style from walking and talking to showing different places with voice overs. I'm not sure what i like more. I do appreciate all the information you give especially some of the prices. When I lived in San Diego many years ago I got to go to Disney once and a convention in Anaheim. I do have a cousin and his family who live north of LA in Thousand Oaks. When I visited them, we went to Venice Beach, walked around, and then drove through a part of Hollywood.
beautiful country please and please be careful about natural disaster in your country but i wish you are fine and have a good healthcare i wish happy day with successful and peace
@ArtNGame215...I was sort of surprised by that, too! Those are all of my regular LA "stops" from my Metrolink commuting days back in the 1990's. Phillipe's makes the best roast beef sandwiches, and I can name the best bars at the restaurants on Olvera St. to get a good cocktail & mexican food while you wait for your train to take you home from work!

Los Angeles offers a variety of attractions, including the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Traveling on the AmTrak along the Pacific coast provides a scenic experience💕
I also say I will never move back to Cali 🌴 but if I change my mind 🧠 I will definitely explore the options of Hermosa, Rendodo, and Manhattan Beach. Now that I have watched this video
That's one big bucket list to do, when I come to visit Los Angeles for the 2nd time. I just can't believe I spent the whole weekend in Universal Studios Hollywood, but at least I have experienced Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Nintendo World and some behind the scenes experience. Hint don't skip the butter beers they are crazy addictive but restrain yourself it's not cheap. I guess 34 more places to go plus Disneyland, Huntington Beach, Newport beach, the Aquarium of the Pacific and maybe San Pedro. Thanks for the info and suggestions.
So much to see in Los Ángeles. I was only there briefly and saw the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I agree with the video, taking the AmTrak is a good way of seeing California along the Pacific coast. Took it from San Diego to LA. Looking forward to going back and checking out these other sites.
Nice selection of things to do! I found the Grand Central Market - especially The Donut Man - to be meh but that’s my opinion. Nearby Little Tokyo - restaurants, shops, Japanese American National Museum - is much more interesting. Angel’s Flight is cool - featured in the Bosch show and movies. When I went to the Broad and MOCA last year all the museums were FREE.
Former Angeleno here. The best thing to do in LA LA Land is visit the beach, which is indeed relaxing and beautiful, and then get outta Dodge. Of course, if you like traffic, stick around and enjoy the freeways. LA has world-class traffic.
I usually plan at least one good week every year in Southern California. I personally love the Hunting beach area. And fountain valley California. The hotels are just to damn expensive for the rich carillon. Or the court side mariot. There’s a well kept up motel 6 in fountain valley and it’s Wright on top of the John Wayne airport, for people that like air shows every year the first week in October Hunting beach has one of the best and biggest air shows, i also like going to the baseball stadiums I was very impressed with how the people treated me at dodgers stadium, not so much in Anaheim but overall I always try something different, next time I’m going back to Catalina island.
LAX is the best airport for those staying in LA. I took a shuttle at the airport to the the Green Metro line, the one that goes toward Noewalk then, I got off at Harbor Freeway stop and went downstairs to transfare to the Silver Line, which actually is a bus and google didn't clarify this. There are two options one goes toward downtown the other direction is San Pedro which is a beach town. I asked the driver. This Silver Line bus goes speeding along the freeway and then into downtown still speeding it will not stop unless someone requests it. I passed the stop for the convention center at Figueroa and 7th by a few blocks. Sit at the front and keep an eye on the streets. I had asked the bus driver to let me know when the Convention Center stop was comming up but he forgot. I got to my hotel safe and sound and with lots of extra cash I saved from not taking an Uber or a taxi. All in about an hour. Not long ago the metro system in LA didn't go to the airport. All other airports--forget it, no way to get anywhere on public transportation without waisting many, many hours.
You say "The Getty" as though there's just one. But of course there are two locations for the Getty Museum -- The Getty CENTER in Brentwood (which is the one you showed), and The Getty VILLA in Malibu / Pacific Palisades (which I actually think is the more beautiful of the two locations). The Getty CENTER houses pre-20th-century European art generally, while the Getty VILLA specialises in art from ancient Greece and Rome.
Great list of things to do in LA. Also recommend checking out the space shuttle Endeavour at the California Science Center, Wayfarers Chapel design by Lloyd Wright in Palo Verdes, Korean Bell in San Pedro & Hilltop park in Long Beach
I used to live in los angeles and i loved driving and views!! If you like the same i recommend driving in the bird streets in hollywood hills or the donya streets in studio city. And to go to Malibu, take mulholland drive and topanga canyon in calabasas.
Incredible footage and great recommendations for things to do in LA! 😍Does anyone have any personal favorite activities or restaurants they think should be added to this list?
the next time u make a video about L.A make sure u make a video about those homeless population in L.A let everybody see what L.A is all about homeless and drug addicted 😃
Já estive na Califórnia três vezes, e tenho a intenção de retornar com mais tempo lá. O vídeo é excelente, deve ser visto mais de uma vez para se reparar mais as sugestões. Parabéns.
I can’t wait to move to L.A.😊 I also like how you said “35 Things To Do In Los Angeles” and then immediatly play a clip from Universal Orlando Resort in Florida😂
I need to get out more. been living Southern California for 62 yrs. I have never been at any of these places. Ever though I live 35 min away from L.A. Now retired time for site seeing.
I’m from L.A. and I do admire we have the best weather!! You have the mountains with snow, the desert, and the ocean! But the traffics and cost of living sucks!! Let alone a lot of homeless people!
3:37 - there's no entrance fee to enter Griffith Observatory. There wasn't when I visited in 2019 and there still isn't according to their homepage. "Griffith Observatory is a free-admission facility located on the south side of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. The building and grounds are accessible for all visitors. The building is busiest on weekends, during summer and holiday periods, and at sunset."
It’s been a brisk winter in LA this year. Snow capped mountains towering over the city with cold breeze off the ocean and the mountains. Makes it cooler in the valley. 50s in the afternoon
L.A. native here but moved north 30 years ago. Question: in the opening scenes you’re on a pier and I see coastal high-rise buildings in the background but I don’t remember seeing those from Santa Monica or Venice pier when I was younger. Where was that shot taken? Thanks!

I'm travelling to LA this Sunday!! 😊 I'm hoping for a nice weather.
Awesome Video! Echo park is where I live..and it's paradise in the middle of the Hustle.
Echo Park is filthy.
Invaded by homeless until they get pushed out and then come back.
I’m a native and you really got the BEST here. Nice work!
Missed a few but got enough of it thank you friend
What is the best way affordable to get from Downtown LA to Santa Monica Pier?
@@BigDawgSportsEntertainment Uber or Lyft. I live between both. It's a straight shot on the Interstate 10 W Freeway.
This is really helpful and put together well, thanks!
Great video! I'm making a list of new places to visit from both the video & this comment section 😃👍🌠
Griffith observatory is also free, what you have to pay is if you want to see a dome projection short film inside.

I am a little surprised that Little Tokyo, Chinatown, Olvera Street, and Fashion District weren't mentioned.
agree but i think some of those are more niche interests for younger people. this list seems more middle-aged, overall safe choice kind of crowd.
