I think the orange rocked crash can be explained like this. Rocket is meant to go straight, what the game is trying to do is keep you on the 2D path, but Rocket wants to go out of bounds, causing the game to panic & crash. Going backwards with the board is something I did not expect to happen. You know the game is a true remaster when 2011 glitches persists in a 2024 remaster... WITH A DIFFERENT ENGINE...
@@notbootstrap750 actually it is. OG Sonic Gens is on the Hedgehog Engine 1 & Shadow Generations uses the same engine as sonic frontiers, running Hedgehog Engine 2.
I think what sucks about Modern Sonic's drop dash is that it's mapped to the same button as the jump, homing attack, and air dash. Another thing that sucks is that you can't unequip Modern Sonic's Dropdash. It's an innate ability. 🙃
I think Classic Sonic not having any initial I-Frames is genuinely so funny. My first reaction when playing: "Welp good enough. Welcome back Sonic 1 spike glitch."
A glitch happened to me in Seaside Hill act 1. At the end of the first section, i used the bubble shield to go over a massive wall and when I entered the cannon, the ground was invisible. I could still see rings and spikes but the ground was practically gone
I ran into a glitch with modern Sonics chemical plant where the camera was acting weird when trying to get one of the first red rings, it made the camera turn around by 180 degrees and I have no idea how that happened
The modern sonic drop dash is just annoying, like it can be useful if you don’t have any boost, but trying to jump as you hit a platform is annoying. Also, I feel like the drop dash isn’t working for classic sonic, unless it just doesn’t work in challenges.
It doesn't work in challenges, nor bosses, nor online mode because they implemented it as a equippable skill, like the ones you can buy from omochao's shop on the far left. You may not have noticed it because it is equipped by default when you start a new file. Weird decision, since drop dash is a innate skill for for modern Sonic 😅
@@cafequente8252 I literally reported this to SEGA because I thought it was a bug. That's such a weird design decision, why would they make it so it's inherent to one and not the other?
@@dmk_yt the worst part is that I already got so used to drop dashing in generations, that I keep trying to perform it by muscle memory. I've always hated that those skills are not available for some stages

Unfortunately there's another one i found. Do not boost onto the grind rails in 2d less you want your controls to lock. Also on reddit someone got hit in chemical plant and classic literally tried to replicate sephiroth and bowser flying out of the camera
@@thawkadeSame. All this game breaking stuff never happened to me in the OG like everyone is saying. Only in my runs on this remaster have I seen such consistent glitches and bugginess. The remaster def included some new issues
I was trying to get all the red star rings to get the homing attack for classic tonight and i glitched into a wall after using the pink wisp! I had to restart the level 😭😭

I've only ever run into 3 glitches while playing this game I got stuck in a wall on planet wisp act 2 (og game) I got stuck in a wall on Perfect Chaos boss fight (og game) I got stuck in a wall in moder Sonic's Charmy challenge (remaster) I honestly find it pretty funny that I keep getting this one glitch in particular lol

At 0:55 you just pressed the homing attack before the reticule showed up
So the glitch that crashes the game with the sideways rocket is still in the game. Cool
no way the rocket glitch is in it still bet this is just the pc port then
but like with more glitches a bit due to bringing it to consoles

I had the same glitch with Classic Sonic on another loop in Green Hill, it's gotta be a remaster exclusive bug.
It happens in the OG Generations, Most of the glitches in here were also in the original
