I know it's based off Ultimate Alien, but Cosmic Destruction was the best Ben 10 DS game.

I thought this game was a fever dream, I never got past the second boss as a kid and Thankyou for letting me know how it ended.
Lets be real all the games we played as kids felt like fever dreams over the hedge, g force, ratatouille, generator red, ben 10 ultimate alien

Fun fact: Echo Echo is almost completely immune to attacks during the first boss, he's too small for the lasers to hit, also I dunno why but I had a lot of trouble with the tetramand and had to do the Echo Echo Strat there too. Also the third boss is so annoying, I could just never jump on the platforms easily, it was just SO annoying, especially when the tendrils appear.

Ben 10 Alien Force for the DS was the first Ben 10 game I ever played so, of course I was excited to see a review of it. And, oh my god, the nostalgia hit me like an elbow drop from Humungousaur
I thought you were overhyping the music because it's a cartoon tie-in game, but it is actually good. That guy put way more effort in than I'd expect.

It's funny how I recently got my hands on the Ben 10 Triple Pack, which includes this game, and suddenly you upload this review.
Also, the main menu music is an absolute banger.
Protector of Earth's DS version is way better imo. However, the music in here I agree, it is good, unlike Vilgax Attack's DS ost... btw, you could try and review the other DS games if this one does well. Who knows?
Never played Protector of Earth for the DS, but I did always assume it was better from watching gameplay.
And, yeah, Vilgax Attacks's OST is garbage, sadly (Bart Roijmans wasn't the composer for that game, so that's probably why). Vilgax Attacks DS does, however, have better level design, reasons to play as other aliens, more sound effects, and more playable aliens. It basically fixed almost all the issues I had with Alien Force DS.
@@niftydrifter I never played protector of earth on DS, but I loved the version on Wii and highly recommend it. I pretty much had all of the Ben 10 Wii games when I was younger and this one is by far best.

This game was basically my childhood, when I wasn't watching Ben 10, this and vilgax attacks. I have so many fond memories and nostalgia, and the game had such a unique vibe, with the lower res textures, strange and sometimes frightening environments and bossfights, and the music man, that brought me back. I remember being a kid, replaying the same levels over and over, and the music made me feel like a hero or something, sounds cheesey, but as a kid I enjoyed it so much.
Funny enough my first DS Game was the Ultimate Alien Game, man I have so much nostalgia to the DS Ben 10 UAF Games, I used to replayed them so much in the school bus lol
Honestly looking at the gameplay the game was kinda short but i haven’t played it yet
37:43. Actually, the ring is supposed to call to the Hyper-gate that the Highbreed were gonna use to send their full force to Earth, and other planets to destroy them. In the console version, you can see it much easier, and there, it does actually look like said gate.
Dude this was also my first DS game as well, I was terrified of the Wiledvine boss. Still hasn’t been able to beat him yet. And the music, a fucking banger
In the PS2 version in the ending it shows the arc and weather towers, clues for the ending of season two, making the game canon, and even more with Gorvan in Omniverse, also Gorvan said "I know... Knew your Grandfather", meaning the game is after Max used the grenade thing to stop the highbreed which sent him to the Null Void
Ben 10 is "classic" Alien Force is "forced" to exist Ultimate Alien was an amazing and "ultimate" success Omniverse was too good to be in the "omniverse"

I remember I had the ben 10 triple pack on ds which features protector of earth alien force and vilgax attacks I was addicted to that game when I was growing up I still have the game now so nostalgic

It was my first DS Game too! I got it with Lego Star Wars, but it was the first I played!
Speaking of the DS, the first DS game I played was Cars (2006) since I got my white DS Lite back in 2008. Jump forward to today and I still have it in my DS game collection to this day. :)

the yya chromastone combo with offensive boost is super overpowered. It takes gorvon down nearly immeditley.

hearing the DNAlien grunts gave me flashbacks to when i played this as a kid, i mainly played Echo Echo (he was my favorite alien at that time)
tbh, when i played through this game, i found that echo echo was a good choice for fighting the first 2 bosses
edit: at least one of the things locked in the gallery is unlocked by *finishing* the last level (the last boss) as ben
When I was a kid I played this game a lot and found out you could unlock Chromastone by getting a high score in the mini game and his combo decimated Gorvan.
Ben 10 more like Mario maker 3 ideas but costumes:
Goomba shroom: this causes you to turn into a goomba, you have smaller jumps but deal damage to enemies and players sideways
Question mark block suit: your jumps are smaller but if you crouch in the ground, you will become a question mark block
Spring suit: you always act like a spring but if you crouch you become a sideways spring
Gold shroom: you are invincible but your jumps and speed are decreased
Super mario bros. Pow: you can bend anything by hitting it, it acts like hitting a brick, your jump is shorter and you cant jump on enemies
Doctor's coat: you can shoot pills that don't ignite but can activate blocks also if you jump on enemies you dont get any bounce
Star rod: you get 4 extra but small jumps, can inhale enemies and blow them out to activate blocks (no air blow)
Morph ball: you can shoot 5 missiles,infinite lemons ,morph into a ball and 5 bombs, the bombs break blocks and the missiles activate them
Poke ball: you can shoot electric bolts to stun enemy stacks, bosses and players also activate blocks
Pikmin: there are 7 pikmin, you can choose which one you get and b to throw pikmin (you can only have one pikmin)
Red: deals 1 jump of damage per 5 seconds, acts like a fire ball
Blue: deals 1 jump of damage per 10 seconds, acts normally when in water and in water night themes
Yellow: deals 1 jump of damage per 7 seconds, it can carry items and activate blocks
Purple: deals 1 jump of damage, it weighs as much as a muncher, it can trigger pows and destroy blocks just by falling on them
White: deals 1 jump of damage per 3 seconds, can survive poison water and destroy munchers
Winged: gives you a floatier jump for 10 seconds with a recharge of 5
Rock: deals 1 jump of damage and activates blocks like a orange pow
inkling: you can shoot ink balls similarly to links bow that make 3 by 3 ink stains, if you shoot one and it hits the ground it makes a 3 block wide stain but you can activate the inkball earlier by pressing l or r again which affects semisolids and other blocks, if you press down on top of ink you become a squid which makes you clip inside the block you are standing on, you act like you are running in normal ground but like in a cloud in semi solids and other blocks, also water kills you and cleans ink
gnw mario: you can teleport 2 blocks forwards by TAPPING left or right
your jump just teleports you half way up and then up, your fire balls also teleport but one block left and right
pac man: you lock on to enemies and can dash into them in 8 directions and if you run too fast you destroy enemies that touch your mouth
backpack: you cant jump but you can carry items
builder suit: you have 5 bricks that you can place anywhere like in story mode
suspicious knife: you can go into any pipe (warp or not) and exit another one in the same warp, you have a knife stab and you can't be detected by enemies, gizmos or power ups
Luma:
You can spin and send star bits (coins) at enemies

I remember playing this game, and the worst part was the platforming every time you would jump on a platform and you would be underneath it or a by side of it you would go straight through. This was especially annoying when you got to the wildvine battle
My dad went to China a few years back and he got me a few things there including a DS cartridge that had tons of games on it. One of the games was the triple pack that contained this game, Protector of Earth and Vilgax Attacks. Beat this game on the bus during my grade 8 end of year field trip

The amount of Ben ten video games where you don’t get ten different aliens to transform into is so frustrating
Also one thing on the home Console Versions The aliens you start off with Are Swampfire And Big Chill and the aliens you Unlock Are Spider Monkey Jetray And Humongousaur My Two Big Brothers Played That Game When They Were Kids And I still think both versions are cool if I had it I think it would be awesome if I find it at a store with old DS games and A 3ds

I played Wii Alien Force. A lot more different and a little better.
I couldn't find many glitches in this game when I played it but there was a way to get behind the final boss and interestingly enough I think the camera stopped with you when you did it, and then the boss would walk another lap and eventually catch up with you

You should make a video on the UA DS game or the Omniverse duo series 3Ds games. I liked the Omniverse games the most on 3Ds because there were more aliens to choose and I remember enjoying it more, mainly Omniverse 2

Update, it turns out mine was called “vilgax attacks” and it’s very similar
The only memory I have of this game is when my broken DSi somehow worked for one final time for like 10 minutes and then never again and I played this. The other time was when I played it on my 3DS for nostalgia.
I rlly enjoyed this video and I suggest you to make another video but instead of Ben 10 make a video on your first sonic game that you played.

I still have this game and it's honestly better than the console versions.
Although the DS version has Echo Echo, Goop and Chromastone as unlockable aliens,while the PS2 version has Bigchill,Spidermonkey and Jetray as unlockable aliens. Basically Brainstorm is missing in both versions which is DISSAPOINTING because the game itself can't have all ten aliens in two platforms and instead the game only has nine aliens which is stupid.
Vilgax Attacks has all 10, minus Alien X of course, though I imagine you know that. Imo Vilgax Attacks is one of the best if *the* best Ben 10 game
At least the DS version of Vilgax Attacks has Upchuck instead of Cannonbolt who is an actual playable character becuase If You use Upchuck in the DS port of Protector of Earth,his only existence is nothing but a five seconds AoE Attack and that's it.
In the first level there is a Max collectible, it’s at the beginning high up in the air where you spawn. I couldn’t get it because there’s nothing to stand on to get it
