I mean, if it’s a flaw that exists in the official model, it would make sense the prototype would have the same problem, perhaps even if he simply pushes it down. I used to think that it was the water when I was a kid, I think that’s where it first malfunctioned

I remember hearing from 8-BitGuy that when CD-ROM drives were first being added as standard equipment to PCs, a bunch of people screwed them up because they thought the place where you put the disk was a cup holder. So they'd wind up ruining the drive because they spilled something in it.
I'm surprised that the "immortality" function was glossed over in this video. It's briefly mentioned that the omnitrix will do whatever it can to keep Ben alive, this is an understatement. At one point or another in the series Ben is hit with a literal big bang, the creation of a new universe was placed in his hands. As this big bang happened, the omnitrix switched between every alien it had in it's data base as fast as it could. Regenerating Ben's body back to full health every time it got torn apart by the explosion. Ben held the explosion in his hand until the energy absorbing aliens that the omnitrix was switching between absorbed all the energy.
The idea that he was switching through all aliens because they were all getting torn apart doesn't wok because ben also turned into Alien X . I doubt Alien x would die from the big bang
I'm still never gonna let go of the fact that the Omnitrix, the most powerful device in the universe, only able to be destroyed by its own self destruct (even the early prototype), was damaged by a screwdriver and the strength of a 10 year old human boy
It was disassembled by buckick and driba, the dumbes greymatters. There was a remote control for It. And there were so many other stuff that keeps happening to It. Ya'll remember when Ben got a cold? And like, Heatblast became discount big chill. Edit: After some looking, this is only occured in 2 episodes. Episode 12 of the original series "Side effects" and Episode 16 of Alien force "The secret of the chromastone" This did prove that if ben was sick, his aliens would get sick. However this only affected some aliens. heatblast, Four arms, Wild mutt, Diamond head,Echo Echo and Humongosaur. Where jetray was not affected (Presummably because the race cannot get colds) it appears the cold affected the race in the way it would biologically for some, Four arms broke out in hives and wildmutt's gills covered over with Mucus, Headblast turned cold, and the last 3 effected just sneezed and let off their various effects or just didn't (for Humongosaur)

Ben's aliens are in peak condition based on there age for example swampfire in omniverse changed into his blooming form when ben reached adulthood so his aliens also age to the equivalent of the hosts age, meaning Ben 10000 aliens are in peak condition for there age

Since i was a kid, when Ben tried to become one alien and the omnitrix accidentally turned him into a different one, i always belived the omnitrix knew better what alien is suited for that issue ben encountered, maybe in a way, training him to get more accustomed to that form. I mean look at it this way, whenever he turned into something different then what he wanted, he still managed to solve the issue.
What do you mean? From the very first episode it's treated like an OP god weapon that is to be feared. The concept of the show proves it, a literal 10 year old can kick the asses of intergalactic warlords just due to his funky watch. Only way you don't realise that is if you just didn't watch any of the shows

@@darthlucasfuu on the original transformer movie, they were shown with no armor. So basically ben needs to scan a vehicle or something similar just to last longer in battle because of the armor
I'm still of the belief that in "Destroy All Aliens", it wasn't _just_ the fact that Gwyn blasted Upgrade with mana (she's mana-blasted other alien forms just fine without causing problems). It's that she was _casting a dismantling spell_ to try to disable the machine that Upgrade was merged with at the time.
Another glitch the Ultimatrix had were "power glitches", in which aliens would have powers that are not part of their biology, like the time Way Big had super speed.
Yeah, or when Diamondhead had Chromastone's abilities to absorb attacks and throw them back at the opponent. But to be fair, at that time, Diamondhead was covered with Chromastone's rock body, so that would explain it. A glitch from the prototype Omnitrix, perhaps, made from how Diamondhead was re-unlocked?

Ben's smart but also has a hard time applying that intellect. But it could also be that if anyone were to steal the Omnitrix like a lot of people before, they wouldn't have master control. So I like to think Ben is smart enough not to do that. (Also Azimuth could definitely just turn it off if he found out)
The Omnimatrix is a complex piece of Galvan Machinery and is not just a simple toy for an immature child to possess but a Very valuable tool to be used to understand others in ways that could of never been thought of before.
They did give an explanation for the inexact transformation. It said when Ben slaps the Omnitrix with a lot of force it messes with the selection features randomizing his choices. edit: to everyone saying that the slapping too hard effects the time out feature, and not the selection choice. I know, I also watched the video about it you can stop telling me. then again somehow the randomization of the time out feature does relate to the inexact aliens so the explanation still kind of stands.

Update to a section: The Omnitrix giving the wrong alien was explained in the [very upsetting] reboot by Azmuth but was pretty widely accepted Galvins are tiny aliens, so unlike if someone normal sized made it, the omnitrix is more detail designed to just be pressed. Ben literally smacking down the dial messed with the selection function of the watch and as a result would give him the wrong alien due to excessive and unnecessary heavy pressure
I mean it does make the most sense. Any other species that would’ve gotten to use the omnitrix would likely either use the correct amount of pressure as intended or simply used the telepathic link the omnitrix establishes to transform
That actually makes sense, technology from our world tends not to work right if you just smack it around over and over. I thought it did that just because there was just one Omnitrix and so it was a glitch.
I haven't seen the reboot but Azmuth did also say this in Omniverse. Saying something along the lines of him smacking the watch face sets off the randomizer.

I love how the original purpose of the omnitrix is basically like transforming into the creature and then start reproducing with the remaining species of the creature, just to save their species.

I thought that the mismatched transformations, where he picks one alien and gets another, was explained by the dial being accidentally turned whenever he *slammed* his hand onto it, or the AI of the Ombitrix choosing a better alien for the situation.

Imagine tiny Galvans and flying around healing people while Canonbolt, Bloxx, and Humungosaur are tanks, XLR8 and Fasttrack are scouts, Diamondhead, Chromastone, NRG, and Feedback are snipers, Upchuck, Eatle, and Ballweavle are demolition, Nanomech, Wildvine, Jetray, Ampfibian, Big Chill, Ghostfreak, and Chamalien are spies, Heatblast, Swampfire, Waterhazard, and Blitzwolfer are soldiers... You didn't mention the gender change function that the writers mentioned in a Q&A. Ben can switch the gender of his aliens if the situation calls for it somehow. Like in the case of a Tetraman trial of combat he can switch into a female Tetraman, who are confirmed to be biologically stronger than their male counterpart and have an even easier time in battle.

Plus when using Master Control the Omnitrix seems to remember what transformation it's user wants to turn into when the name of the transformation is spoken or thought about. A great example of this is when Ben first accessed Master Control. He said "upgrade" and the Omnitrix changed him into Upgrade. Not sure if this is present with the official version, but it's possible.
the omnitrix knew which alien he wanted as when he said his name or thought of it he would subconsiosly think of its form and abilities so the omnitrix being linked to ben's body found that he thought of a tetramand so transformed him into four arms. not by the name by the form
In the glitches section it actually has been stated by Azmuth in either the end of Ultimate Alien or some time during Omniverse, I can't remember, that the reason Ben doesn't always get the alien he wants is because he slams on it which causes it to glitch when selecting an alien
I think that was unique to the official omnitrix, as Azmuth created that one for Ben specifically, and he says "I expected more dexterity out of those fat fingers of yours."
This would make the best omnitrix: All of the other functions seen throughout the franchise. The ultimate function Anti hacking failsafes The Omni-Kix from the reboot(I think they should’ve incorporated this in the perfect omnitrix.) And all of your functions.

Wow, I got to admit. The prime omitrix seems way better compared to the ultimatrix. Basically invincible to any form of life so only the user may use it, transform into the alpha of any alien race (already a sort of ultimate form of the Alien race), user friendly and keeps to the theme of what it was always meant to be. It was never a weapon, Rather a diplomatic form of piece for all species to trust on a guardian to protect the universe whether in a diplomatic or physical way.
Ultimatrix really had a lot of potential, it was able to give Ben much more powerful Aliens with similar features when the current transformation wasn't enough.
Problem with the Ultimatrix has the same problem with most underwhelming games and movies, it was rushed and narrow vision. Albedo made it asap so he could turn back into a Galvan or atleast to defeat Ben to and take his Omnitrix.

The thing I love about the ink tank is that they put so much effort into they’re work, like how they made the addicting dvd loading screen where the logo bounces off edges and changed the logo into that one marshmallow alien in Rath’s episode.
It's really not? It has multiple established limits, like a finite power supply or the need to build up power for months to reach "universe breaking" power. It's also established that even the most basic multi-dimensional technology is more advanced, even a literal baby's toy.

I really want prime Ben's timeline to carry on, I just rewatched the whole series from ben 10 original to alien force, ultimate alien, and omniverse. They left off in omniverse with Ben insisting him and his friends go on a road trip, hopefully they carry it on as it was my whole childhood, who cares about ben 10 the reboot
Or at the very least have a spinoff show in the prime timeline starring his son from the future, Ken. We already know that he was entrusted with the omnitrix since ben 10k has that fusion omnitrix.

Great video. Loved the idea of starting & ending the video that way, so unique... Animation was great, voice-overs were cool. When Kellen as XLR8 said "gotta run", it reminded me of Jim Ward's XLR8 saying "gotta run" in the episode "The Krakken" from the Original series... Good times
My favorite addition is without a doubt the "powerhouse playlist", i know "playlists" were already kinda a thing before but i like the idea that Ben can choose and program a "playlist" for whatever he needs. Cutting down kn the time in going through a list of aliens and having specific lists for specific situations; like the previously mentioned "powerhouse playlist" or even playlists for search and rescue, engineering and building, infiltration, etc.
A month late but can we get some love for that animated short? The new aliens are an awesome touch and the dialogue legit feels straight out of a real Ben 10 episode. The voice impressions are also really good, especially XLR8.
I have an idea for 5 Years Later new features: Omnitrix Blender: Gives the current aliens powers of different aliens in a fashion which optimises current aliens power. Energy drain: Drains energy and either stores it inside or disperse it. Connection Breach: Connects to minds of other races and species to worn them of impending doom. This feature can also connect Ben with plant-life of any world. Dimension Travel: Allows Ben to travel to different dimensions. Null-void projection: Omnitrix can project Null-void by itself. DNA override: A very cruel feature which can shut down DNA of his enemy.
I always thought the watch turning Ben into the “wrong” alien was it’s way of getting Ben to pick tactics that had the greater probability of success. Either that or the AI was trying to troll him for Ben’s.....less than heroic character traits
At first it was due to him slapping his hand on it, causing it to randomize as stated by Azimuth after he got his brain back, afterwards in certain scenes of the first season of omniverse, he continuously scrolled onto the wrong aliens and I assume he didn't bother paying attention to what he was scrolling on, and then it was the omnitrix's AI knowing Ben more than he did himself as stated by Ben after the Time War.
Watching this in case an alien device does what it does, and stuck itself upon my wrist (with secrets that it may hide, of course) so if I get superpowers, I won't be an ordinary kid.

RiceCube Any bozo could build an outer casing so I doubt it was so simple, and azmiths surprise and disgust at the ultimate feature clearly show he didn’t add that function. Albedo wouldn’t be so prideful of the device anyway if he didn’t incorporate some of his own forethought into the project.if anything azmiths the one who probably build the power source and albedo is the one who made the simulation the alien dna runs through for the ultimate feature. I believe the creators even said he helped install updating features onto the actual omnitrix so that would probably be closer to his expertise.
I've been running a character in D&D who is a version of Ben Tennyson. Basically, due to some unknown even, Ben was transported to the world of Faerun. The Omnitrix is barely functioning. It has some limited translation power (just three languages but they're at least languages which are useful to him where he is now.) At first, he couldn't transform at all. The Omnitrix gave him a "human-only" version of some of the alien powers he was used to, kind of as a safety measure since it was so fully discharged. Over time, he's gotten more functionality back but (due to the limitations of the D&D organized play format) he is unable to full access the vast majority of the aliens he's used to. Thanks to some real brain-work, I came up with the ability for Ben to transform into Heatblast, Rath, or Ben-Viktor (or whatever he actually named it, I always forget.) for up to an hour and he has a fully usable power that he can use in that form which mimics closely what that form had in the cartoon. Rath, being Rath, just has a good strength and I need to work out how to make his punches hurt a bit more. Heatblast has a Flame power and Ben-Viktor has a lightning power. In addition, he has more fully-developed powers which he can use but the transformations activating those powers only last for a few seconds, just long enough to get the power activated, basically. Further, his Omnitrix in its current state has developed a limited "Detect magic" function, which Ben thinks is supposed to alert him when Gwen is nearby but it also works for the standard use of Detect Magic in D&D. Overall, he's a blast to play and I love playing up Ben's ego and then having it deflated since no one on Faerun has ever heard of him! Lol Keep up the great work on these videos!
In the originally series, the reason why ben sometimes turned into the wrong alien is because he slams it too hard to go "hero" and as he does it twist casuing him to turn into the wrong alien. I'm very sure that's Canon but I forgot where I herd that from.
Ur 100% correct, azmuth said it in omniverse or ultimate alien I think (I don't really remember) but yes, slamming the omnitrix too hard will set off the randomizer function🙏🏼🙏🏼

I have 7 question: -Can nanotech copy omnitrix, i see alpha copy ultimatrix but it a cheep copy of omnitrix and not complete. And when malware try to absorb and upgrade tries to "upgrade" it they all explore and they make from nanotech ,plus nanotech is level 4 tech and omnitrix is level 20 tech. The problem with the nemetrix isn't a failure, it's what happens if you turn into a non-sapient species. the omnitrix would protect Ben from it's effects by not letting him use it at all
Alien X's powers can't be absorbed by osmosians. Grown up Celestial Sapiens are immune to power absorption, that's why Aggregor looked for a baby one in order to gain almighty powers
in the future Kai Green the wife of ben 10 000 is the one worthy of Excalibur, level 4 tech like nanotech cannot copy the omnitrix, it can copy its appearance and already seen functions, but cant create a Identical copy of the complex network of /hardware/software/code/and most importantly dna that is the level 20 tech know as the Omnitrix, it could most likely come close to making the unitrix, (and amazo copies powers but there is always a limit or flaw, even the most powerful amazo from the JLA unlimited tv show could only copy universe/microverse powers, the omnitrix is beyond that surviving universe level destruction, and also being the universe level destruction)

Wasn't the Self Destruction of the omnitrix the first time triggered by accident, so there was barely a clue as to when it would blow up? Because the only reason it detonated in 30 seconds in the end of season 3 of Alien Force is because Ben told it to only take 30 seconds. Hell, Ben even stated that if "The charge built up for long enough, It would destroy the universe. But I'm only giving it 30 seconds." After he handed it to Vilgax
I always thought that was messed up why would azmuth make it so It would destroy the whole universe I u understand he doesn't want it in the wrong hands but if that happened why couldn't he make some kind of remote to disable it or just teleport it off the user arm.
@@bentennyson2565 Well, one of the fail-safes is that it can't really come off of the user's arm. Teleporting it off of his arm would trigger that fail-safe. As for why it would destroy the whole universe, the Omnitrix had been given time to charge. It's also why, as i stated, it didn't blow up the universe in the season finale of Alien Force Season 3. H*ck, i don't even think it really hurt Vilgax all that much.
@@bentennyson2565 look at it this way, a device that is able and has celestial DNA and has a computer system with a reaction time faster than the big bang it's self must have a power source capable of such a feat as that of destroying the system. Plus the omnitrix was meant to be handled by someone who understands it and the responsibility and consequences of its abilities. So when 10 year old ben got it, it's natural that he didn't understand it enough to limit the self destruct to a small time build up. But as he got older he understood it and made it 30 secs max. Plus answering why it might be there, imagine you're fighting a deathstar level threat while you're trapped inside, and as the hero you are you agree on sacrifice, then you could take off the watch teleport and set the thing for say 30 mins of build up. That's a possible reason of why it might be there. I mean it has alien X to be real. That feature must be there in case anything happens.
12:30 The reason why ben always transforms into a different alien then the one selected is because he always smashes the dial with a lot of force right before transforming. You should tap it gently instead.
That is not the reason. That causes the Omnitrix to time out casually. The reason is because Ben doesn't watch the icons in UAF and because the Omnitrix is glitched in Classic and Omniverse
Later in omniverse we are shown that by making some arrangements with those inner alien X, Ben gained full control of alien X whenever he wanted without wasting any time and use it to its full potential.

I'm surprised that the "immortality" function was glossed over in this video. It's briefly mentioned that the omnitrix will do whatever it can to keep Ben alive, this is an understatement. At one point or another in the series Ben is hit with a literal big bang, the creation of a new universe was placed in his hands. As this big bang happened, the omnitrix switched between every alien it had in it's data base as fast as it could. Regenerating Ben's body back to full health every time it got torn apart by the explosion. Ben held the explosion in his hand until the energy absorbing aliens that the omnitrix was switching between absorbed all the energy.

This did prove that if ben was sick, his aliens would get sick. However this only affected some aliens. heatblast, Four arms, Wild mutt, Diamond head,Echo Echo and Humongosaur. Where jetray was not affected (Presummably because the race cannot get colds) it appears the cold affected the race in the way it would biologically for some, Four arms broke out in hives and wildmutt's gills covered over with Mucus, Headblast turned cold, and the last 3 effected just sneezed and let off their various effects or just didn't (for Humongosaur)

Since i was a kid, when Ben tried to become one alien and the omnitrix accidentally turned him into a different one, i always belived the omnitrix knew better what alien is suited for that issue ben encountered, maybe in a way, training him to get more accustomed to that form. I'm still of the belief that in "Destroy All Aliens", it wasn't _just_ the fact that Gwyn blasted Upgrade with mana (she's mana-blasted other alien forms just fine without causing problems). It's that she was _casting a dismantling spell_ to try to disable the machine that Upgrade was merged with at the time.
Another glitch the Ultimatrix had were "power glitches", in which aliens would have powers that are not part of their biology, like the time Way Big had super speed.
Yeah, but the "Glitch" retcon didn't make sense, they said Chromastone can't naturally fly, but Sugalite did it.
Yeah, or when Diamondhead had Chromastone's abilities to absorb attacks and throw them back at the opponent. But to be fair, at that time, Diamondhead was covered with Chromastone's rock body, so that would explain it. A glitch from the prototype Omnitrix, perhaps, made from how Diamondhead was re-unlocked?

They did give an explanation for the inexact transformation. It said when Ben slaps the Omnitrix with a lot of force it messes with the selection features randomizing his choices.
edit: to everyone saying that the slapping too hard effects the time out feature, and not the selection choice. The Omnitrix giving the wrong alien was explained in the [very upsetting] reboot by Azmuth but was pretty widely accepted
Galvins are tiny aliens, so unlike if someone normal sized made it, the omnitrix is more detail designed to just be pressed. Ben literally smacking down the dial messed with the selection function of the watch and as a result would give him the wrong alien due to excessive and unnecessary heavy pressure

You didn't mention the gender change function that the writers mentioned in a Q&A. Ben can switch the gender of his aliens if the situation calls for it somehow. Like in the case of a Tetraman trial of combat he can switch into a female Tetraman, who are confirmed to be biologically stronger than their male counterpart and have an even easier time in battle.

Plus when using Master Control the Omnitrix seems to remember what transformation it's user wants to turn into when the name of the transformation is spoken or thought about. A great example of this is when Ben first accessed Master Control. He said "upgrade" and the Omnitrix changed him into Upgrade. Not sure if this is present with the official version, but it's possible.
and it seems to know what Ben specifically wants since he once turned Vilgax into Goop even when Vilgax was the user, not Ben

In the glitches section it actually has been stated by Azmuth in either the end of Ultimate Alien or some time during Omniverse, I can't remember, that the reason Ben doesn't always get the alien he wants is because he slams on it which causes it to glitch when selecting an alien
He also selects the wrong alien half the time. Like the beginning of the episode in which Gwen and Kevin return in Omniverse
I think that was unique to the official omnitrix, as Azmuth created that one for Ben specifically, and he says "I expected more dexterity out of those fat fingers of yours."

Wow, I got to admit. The prime omitrix seems way better compared to the ultimatrix.
Basically invincible to any form of life so only the user may use it, transform into the alpha of any alien race (already a sort of ultimate form of the Alien race), user friendly and keeps to the theme of what it was always meant to be.
It was never a weapon, Rather a diplomatic form of piece for all species to trust on a guardian to protect the universe whether in a diplomatic or physical way.

Ultimatrix really had a lot of potential, it was able to give Ben much more powerful Aliens with similar features when the current transformation wasn't enough.
Problem with the Ultimatrix has the same problem with most underwhelming games and movies, it was rushed and narrow vision. Albedo made it asap so he could turn back into a Galvan or atleast to defeat Ben to and take his Omnitrix.

The thing I love about the ink tank is that they put so much effort into they’re work, like how they made the addicting dvd loading screen where the logo bounces off edges and changed the logo into that one marshmallow alien in Rath’s episode.

My favorite addition is without a doubt the "powerhouse playlist", i know "playlists" were already kinda a thing before but i like the idea that Ben can choose and program a "playlist" for whatever he needs. Cutting down kn the time in going through a list of aliens and having specific lists for specific situations; like the previously mentioned "powerhouse playlist" or even playlists for search and rescue, engineering and building, infiltration, etc.
There's also a parasite playlist
A month late but can we get some love for that animated short? The new aliens are an awesome touch and the dialogue legit feels straight out of a real Ben 10 episode. The voice impressions are also really good, especially XLR8.

I have an idea for 5 Years Later new features:
Omnitrix Blender: Gives the current aliens powers of different aliens in a fashion which optimises current aliens power.
Energy drain: Drains energy and either stores it inside or disperse it.
Connection Breach: Connects to minds of other races and species to worn them of impending doom. This feature can also connect Ben with plant-life of any world.
Dimension Travel: Allows Ben to travel to different dimensions.
Null-void projection: Omnitrix can project Null-void by itself.
DNA override: A very cruel feature which can shut down DNA of his enemy.

I always thought the watch turning Ben into the “wrong” alien was it’s way of getting Ben to pick tactics that had the greater probability of success. Either that or the AI was trying to troll him for Ben’s.....less than heroic character traits
At first it was due to him slapping his hand on it, causing it to randomize as stated by Azimuth after he got his brain back, afterwards in certain scenes of the first season of omniverse, he continuously scrolled onto the wrong aliens and I assume he didn't bother paying attention to what he was scrolling on, and then it was the omnitrix's AI knowing Ben more than he did himself as stated by Ben after the Time War.

RiceCube Any bozo could build an outer casing so I doubt it was so simple, and azmiths surprise and disgust at the ultimate feature clearly show he didn’t add that function. Albedo wouldn’t be so prideful of the device anyway if he didn’t incorporate some of his own forethought into the project.if anything azmiths the one who probably build the power source and albedo is the one who made the simulation the alien dna runs through for the ultimate feature. I believe the creators even said he helped install updating features onto the actual omnitrix so that would probably be closer to his expertise.
Years back I had a similar idea about making a video that goes over all the features and functions of every Omnitrix device.

I've been running a character in D&D who is a version of Ben Tennyson. Basically, due to some unknown even, Ben was transported to the world of Faerun. The Omnitrix is barely functioning. It has some limited translation power (just three languages but they're at least languages which are useful to him where he is now.) At first, he couldn't transform at all. The Omnitrix gave him a "human-only" version of some of the alien powers he was used to, kind of as a safety measure since it was so fully discharged. Over time, he's gotten more functionality back but (due to the limitations of the D&D organized play format) he is unable to full access the vast majority of the aliens he's used to.
Thanks to some real brain-work, I came up with the ability for Ben to transform into Heatblast, Rath, or Ben-Viktor (or whatever he actually named it, I always forget.) for up to an hour and he has a fully usable power that he can use in that form which mimics closely what that form had in the cartoon. Rath, being Rath, just has a good strength and I need to work out how to make his punches hurt a bit more. Heatblast has a Flame power and Ben-Viktor has a lightning power. In addition, he has more fully-developed powers which he can use but the transformations activating those powers only last for a few seconds, just long enough to get the power activated, basically. Further, his Omnitrix in its current state has developed a limited "Detect magic" function, which Ben thinks is supposed to alert him when Gwen is nearby but it also works for the standard use of Detect Magic in D&D.
Overall, he's a blast to play and I love playing up Ben's ego and then having it deflated since no one on Faerun has ever heard of him! Lol

In the originally series, the reason why ben sometimes turned into the wrong alien is because he slams it too hard to go "hero" and as he does it twist casuing him to turn into the wrong alien. I'm very sure that's Canon but I forgot where I herd that from.

-Can nanotech copy omnitrix, i see alpha copy ultimatrix but it a cheep copy of omnitrix and not complete. The problem with the nemetrix isn't a failure, it's what happens if you turn into a non-sapient species. the omnitrix would protect Ben from it's effects by not letting him use it at all

Alien X's powers can't be absorbed by osmosians. Grown up Celestial Sapiens are immune to power absorption, that's why Aggregor looked for a baby one in order to gain almighty powers
in the future Kai Green the wife of ben 10 000 is the one worthy of Excalibur, level 4 tech like nanotech cannot copy the omnitrix, it can copy its appearance and already seen functions, but cant create a Identical copy of the complex network of /hardware/software/code/and most importantly dna that is the level 20 tech know as the Omnitrix, it could most likely come close to making the unitrix, (and amazo copies powers but there is always a limit or flaw, even the most powerful amazo from the JLA unlimited tv show could only copy universe/microverse powers, the omnitrix is beyond that surviving universe level destruction, and also being the universe level destruction)

I loved this episode, best part for me probably is the unmute button joke. It's totally something Ben would overlook on accident, and then get promptly teased or scolded for.
Wasn't the Self Destruction of the omnitrix the first time triggered by accident, so there was barely a clue as to when it would blow up? Because the only reason it detonated in 30 seconds in the end of season 3 of Alien Force is because Ben told it to only take 30 seconds. Hell, Ben even stated that if "The charge built up for long enough, It would destroy the universe. But I'm only giving it 30 seconds." After he handed it to Vilgax

@@bentennyson2565 Well, one of the fail-safes is that it can't really come off of the user's arm. Teleporting it off of his arm would trigger that fail-safe. As for why it would destroy the whole universe, the Omnitrix had been given time to charge. It's also why, as i stated, it didn't blow up the universe in the season finale of Alien Force Season 3. H*ck, i don't even think it really hurt Vilgax all that much.
@@bentennyson2565 look at it this way, a device that is able and has celestial DNA and has a computer system with a reaction time faster than the big bang it's self must have a power source capable of such a feat as that of destroying the system. Plus the omnitrix was meant to be handled by someone who understands it and the responsibility and consequences of its abilities. So when 10 year old ben got it, it's natural that he didn't understand it enough to limit the self destruct to a small time build up. But as he got older he understood it and made it 30 secs max. Plus answering why it might be there, imagine you're fighting a deathstar level threat while you're trapped inside, and as the hero you are you agree on sacrifice, then you could take off the watch teleport and set the thing for say 30 mins of build up. That's a possible reason of why it might be there. I mean it has alien X to be real. That feature must be there in case anything happens.
