It's got the same statehood as the countries within the UK, Technically emirs run by rulers some have independent statehood and some conjoined into one federation (the United Arab Emirates)
Amnesia, didn’t keep track of my score this time, but I got 10 - 12 wrong. I had fun as always! Thank you Sean for taking the time to put these together and to always respond to comments😊😻
Great quiz ..Pleased to get a Fleming award 😂..Despite not being strong subjects for me . Would have loved some Sport ,History & Music ..Maybe 1 or 2 in the next one ..
Hello Sean! I hope you had a beautiful weekend! I managed to score back up into Hawking with 38/50. For the Answer to the Bonus question: Amnesia can be either partial or total. Have a great week!😊💖🌼🥀🦋
8:35 In geometry a tangent is the straight line that "just touches" the curve at one point. A secant is a straight line that intersects a curve at a minimum of two distinct points. Bisection is the division of something into two equal or congruent parts (having the same shape and size). Usually it involves a bisecting line, also called a bisector. So none of the above is correct?
Nice quiz, as usual. I feel like chatting, and so.... I have very little contention with it, besides the clear gaffe in implying that Dubei is a country. The Union Jack is the flag of the United Kingdom. It is not a legally defined term and only real sticklers raise [foolish?] issues with it. The Union Flag or Flag of the Union may refer to other than the flag of the United Kingdom. The old flag of the southern states comes to mind, and I've seen the term (particularly uncapitalized) elsewhere! And a point about style that I often note in your quizes. An example illustrates; without further comment. Consider the difference between the following two ways of asking the same(?) thing: (1) "How many countries can you find in the continent of Africa?" And (2) "How many countries in Africa." But I invariably love your quizzes. Thank you. 👍
I can't believe I had to go this far down in the comments to see someone point this out. I quit the video at that point. Trivia needs to be challenging and most importantly, accurate. 4 questions in, this was neither.
Hmm.. 38/50... and the bonus question answer is............. um.............oh damn.......... I forgot..... must have temporary amnesia or something....
The pneumonic plague is the same disease resulting from the bacteria Yersinia pestis. The Pneumonic plague vector was passed into the lungs by coughing and was far more fatal than bubonic plague which affected the skin and lymphatic system via flea bites. So bubonic plague and pneumonic plague (and of course the most deadly septicaemic plague) are all the same disease so you should fix this question.
Union Jack is NOT the nickname of the United Kingdom flag, it is called the UNION FLAG unless it is flown on a maritime vessel when it becomes a "Jack".
My apologies. I took my answer from the Oxford dictionary which states as definition for the Union Jack: "the national flag of the United Kingdom, formed by combining the red and white crosses of St George, St Andrew, and St Patrick and retaining the blue ground of the flag of St Andrew." and confirmed it with Wikipedia which states: "The Union Jack, or Union Flag, is the de facto national flag of the United Kingdom. Although no law has been passed making the Union Flag the official national flag of the United Kingdom, it has effectively become such through precedent"
Everyone in the UK knows it as the Union Jack so don't apologise it's only since a certain episode of Doctor Who that everyone likes to speak up and say Oooooo that's wrong it's the Union Flag lol@@detormentis
The Union Jack is actually a misnomer. The correct name is union Flag. The flag is Union Jack is only named this when a Royal Navy ship flies it under national colour.
17) RepubliC; not RepublicS... I can't remember what the bonus question was

Re: question 4: I would like to point out that Dubai is a CITY and the COUNTRY it's in UAE (United Arab Emirates).
You are spot on, appreciated.
Actually, Dubai is a City and Emirate (1 of 7 emirates) in UAE
It's got the same statehood as the countries within the UK,
Technically emirs run by rulers some have independent statehood and some conjoined into one federation (the United Arab Emirates)
@angelokimi all the same, it's not a nation.
I love these quizzes. I just want to thank you Sean for the time and effort you put into them. It's greatly appreciated. 🙏

I've heard of Global Amnesia and Frontal Lobe Amnesia
One of my best showings on a Detormentis quiz, 46/50! My rank is Einstein, who is appropriately enough the subject of the final question on this quiz.
You should definitely do a video games category! My husband and I would love to see it!

#4 Dubai is not a country, it is a city in the UAE. The other 2 choices were countries. THe answer to the question should have been "UAE".
I can't believe I had to go this far down in the comments to see someone point this out. I quit the video at that point. Trivia needs to be challenging and most importantly, accurate. 4 questions in, this was neither.
This makes me question the quiz maker despite enjoying the content
Amnesia is the answer to the bonus question. Always happy to see this quiz appear in my notifications.
Correct, and thank you for watching!
