So I left a couple of empty slots on the very back so that I am not too worry! Since I have extra clips I can just clip them on another side so that I can just easily unhook the tubing… turn… and connect to the other set. Honestly the way I have the plants placed here they will get plenty of sun from the 3 sides, I’ll probably won’t turn as much.

GREENSTALK USERS WHEN DOING A VIDEO should point out that the small gray bowl in the middle of the planter is for water release. IT IS CRITIAL that you align the small holes in this bowl with each of the platting pockets soo the water is released into that portion of the soil, not the areas inbetween where the it’s snap on to each layer. Water alignment very important.
You are brilliant for filling the greenstalk in your wheelbarrow!!
I was constantly trying to avoid that center hole while filling with soil.
It was easier for me to do that instead of risking filling the reservoir underneath.
Love watching your Channel. Thanks for doing a video on your Greenstalk. I also have them and I’m planning to plants strawberries in them for my kids. Here is Florida, I have so many pests on the ground. They feast on just about all my strawberries. So this year I will plant them in these and hope for better results. Also I bought one watering system but hate the fact that I cant spin it completely. So I decided I’m not going to use it but have my husband build me a simple system that will water them on a separate timer for two minutes and still be able to do a complete turn. Wishing u much success this year in your garden and keep sharing!

Can you put the hose guides on the first tier and top tier only (since you're using three tiers) and then repeat it on the other side. That way you can easily rotate your greenstalk halfway and then easily clamp in the hose again and rotate the lid? Oops never mind, I see Leslie L. actually did this in her garden. 👌

I love my GreenStalk! I set mine up a few weeks ago with the new watering system. I wanted to still have the ability to rotate it for even sun exposure so I used half of my tubing clips on each side. I can easily rotate the GreenStalk and pop the irrigation tube back in. Also, I’m really impressed with the high quality materials they use. Highly recommend! Oh, one tip when filling with soil (if filling in place): use a piece of duct tape to cover center hole so the soil doesn’t fall into the white trays on the level below and clog up the holes. Remove tape before placing next white tray or final water reservoir.
As I was adding more soil to the layers when they were in place, I thought about using a "cover" for the little hole, but I was being super careful... you are right, the quality is amazing!
I love your idea of filling in wheelbarrow before stacking! I did the 6 tier so it’s hard for me to lift if I pre fill before stacking. Guess I need to start working out so I can!! 😂💪🏼

Hey, yes, I have 2 sections of irrigation lines on my kitchen area. One basically waters all of my wooden raised beds and the other waters my corten steel beds and the greenstalks now.
Have a question. Does the small white tray have holes? I’m concerned about places mosquitos will breed because they were out full force yesterday.
I think this would be a great herb tower. The things that take over like oregano and mint would be held in check. There was oregano in a flower bed from previous owner and over 10 years later I’m still trying to get rid of it because it creates a mat and chokes other plants out. I started some in my garden and it was on my list to move today because it’s next to asparagus.
This year I wanted a better oregano that retains flavor after drying. Another gal said she grows voltar. I didn’t want to pay the shipping at the only place I could find it. I always have true Greek oregano and was able to find Heirloom Italian oregano and we will see how that does.
Great tutorial on assembling tower. I hope to get some irrigation put in this year as I have none and I have 2 large garden areas that I can’t seem to get watered fast enough before the heat sets in. I catch rain in cattle tanks and pump out with sump pump and it takes awhile.
Yes, so from the main top reservoir the water concentrated in these smaller white ones, they all have holes that disperse the water slowly

Since you got the 5 tier green stalk can you use the remaining trays to create a whole new green stalk tier somewhere else in the garden
I definitely can, I don’t have an extra base but I have everything else for it.
Yes you can use these anyway you desire. The idea is to use them stacked to save ground space or have a patio garden. If you aren’t going to stack at least 3 you might as well just have other pots. My opinion. The tubing you can purchase helps when they are stacked as she shows you in the video. You can cut the tubing to fit your design of 3 or more pots. I also purchased their bluetooth watering clock so I can be gone or busy and the water will release for sure.
