Good setup 4 locating lugs on the bottom will help put back on much faster to align the bolts, quick release latches would be good with locating lugs

Well done Mate, I know the pain of short legs and bloody milk crates, they are a god send. loved the mozie stomp in there too, dirty lil friggin things. Cheers for another honest Vid Groo, good to see you out there enjoying the place, Cheers

That was great. I really appreciated you posting this. It was the single most important thing to me amongst the various things I was curious about.

Good work Wayne, you have done a good job demonstrating the camper and accessories, I'm sold.

I have no affiliation with Tommy Camper, I paid full price. After a fair bit of research and for traveling/overlanding where the majority of your stops are for one or two nights it’s hard to find better. It has some issues and I will do a video on them as time goes by.

4x4 TrekOZ your definitely an asset to their sales, hope they contribute in some way to your videos, as real life is what people enjoy watching.

I guess you could have wound the legs down a bit to get better access to the awning... but that probably takes time too. The crate wasn't too hard.

I could have but the angle of the rear steps are fixed for the height of the Dmax. The angle when lowered can be uncomfortable.

have you ever thought about ratchet straps to lock it down? maybe easier than bolts?

      1. Ugly
      2. While driving it will rub... in a few years u will see it rub off paint.
      3. Potential to crush as the camper isn't meant to be hugged tight to the ute... it's meant to sit on and be attached to it.

Hi Wayne, do you have a suspension upgrade? What weight does the canopy weigh?

Ah nothing better while camping than a rattle gun chugging away from the bloke over...
