Fan-made Cartoon Network Commercial: "Pizza Night at the Wattersons" (Starring: Gumball, Darwin, Anais, Nicole and Richard) Featuring the song from this video.
I really like their dynamic when they actually all get along. Even the Meg jokes weren’t bad cause it’s like they were all in on the hijinks together. They can all be themselves and be just as goofy as Peter. And I really like how Brian has been more of a dog lately too it’s refreshing. I really enjoyed their scenes this episode it was just a wacky, fun family dynamic (ignoring the dead guy).
Well Peter did promise he'd only be mean to Meg when Lois is not around in Season 2 and that they'd be secret best friends. So basically when Lois is gone, Peter is actually proven to be the better parent and treats Meg as good as his other children.
Only problem I have with this is....how do you split a pizza between a man, two teenagers, a baby, and a dog that is essentially human? That's a two-pizza dinner right thar.
@@SamuelBlack84 It was the food pyramid that made Americans fat, not pizza. Pizza is actually pretty healthy, if you have the right ingredients. It’s got vitamins A and D in the cheese, Vitamin C in the tomato sauce, and fat to go through since these vitamins need to go through dietary fat to work. And hopefully the bread is enriched with vitamins like niacin, folic acid, and other vitamins.
Maybe Lois is the most toxic element. Without her, Peter's idiocy can be let out naturally and allow him not to actually be a good dad. ......... Hey, I'm working with what I GOT!
I kinda expected that after the Pizza Night song ended Peter Griffin would say "Few minutes later, me and my family suffered a massive heart burn due to eating too much pizza and Joe from next door had to call the ambulance".
That wouldn't be very funny, and it'd also ruin the whole nature of the scene in my honest opinion. Your suggestion feels like something seasons 7 to 15 of the show would do, and honestly we have moved beyond them.
The fact that Smiling Friends, a successful adult animation that doesn’t rely on cynicism, just finished its first season run, it’s odd to see Family Guy suddenly take a tonal shift to seem more wholesome as well. Not saying they planned it, but the timing is interesting.
I actually really liked this episode because 1. We actually get to see the dynamic between Quagmire and Lois and it's surprising that even though Glens a borderline sex offender, he cares about both Lois AND Peter enough to respect Lois' boundaries 2. The Griffin family was alot more cohesive, especially with their treatment of Meg. The only joke that was at Megs expense was when she was nominated to crawl into the dead guys clothes, and she was all for it because shes touch starved and the body was still warm. That was actually funny, also on a side note I love how they're taking Meg and making her more of a troubled teen without solely relying on shock humor like a secret baby or cutting jokes.
Lois said to meg once (thinking meg was pregnant ) make a choice but if you're going to booze out and do a lot of drugs to abort mean it or you'll end up with chris.
0:01 We see the single pizza is cut into 8 pieces. 0:06 First slice taken, we see that both Peter and Chris are eating a slice. (SliceCount: 2) 0:12 Meg eats two slices in one bite (SliceCount 4) 0:15 Stewie takes a bite from a slice, which brian bites at, but fails to steal. Stewie finishes the slice (SliceCount: 5) 0:17 Brian has obtained another slice and is eating it. (SliceCount: 6) 0:20 Meg eats a third slice (SliceCount:7) 0:21 Chris is eating a slice, but we'll assume it's still the first slice we didn't see him finish (SliceCount:7) 0:22 Stewie is eating two more slices at the same time (SliceCount: 9) 0:23 Brian eats a whole slice in one bite (SliceCount: 10) 0:24 Peter takes a bite from a new fresh slice, before we see an additional 7 full slices in the hands of the family. (SliceCount: 18) Even if two pizza were sloppily stacked on top of each other in the same box (which we know isn't the case, since we see a slice pulled out of the box, revealing the bottom of the box), it still wouldn't explain what can only be perceived as a Divine Miracle, near identical to Jesus of Nazareth feeding the masses with a small amount of fish and bread. Presumably first person to take a slice is either Peter or Christ, and we see Peter take a slice out of the box when it should already be empty, 10-slices in. The only rational interpretation of this is that Peter Griffin is actually Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This also explains how he is able to conjure completely ridiculous props and devices for his bits, and how he is able to to sustain lethal injuries (like getting his head smashed between two logs while picking up a hat). Don't get mad at me. I'm just the prophet.
This scene was so positive for Family Guy standards, that I didn't even care it was a joke on old generic pizza places commercials and references to obesity epidemic
My family and I do Pizza Day along with chicken wings or chicken strips and some salad every Friday for dinner. It's just a tradition we have done for years and we love it!
If they did this in the 90s you know they'd also include a trip to Blockbuster. Can't have Pizza night without a movie.
And if I am remembering correctly Pepsi
This was me whenever we would eat pizza during the 90s.
I still watch movies while eating pizza lol
Very true! 😄
The pizza would have to be from Pizza Hut with the Stuffed Crust, from the time when the cheese was pretty thick
I like when Family Guy actually has moments with the family that isn't just them murdering each other or something stupid like that.
Moments like this are kinda jarring nowadays w the usual way family guy is
It's a rare moment in modern Family Guy.
If you want to see more of it, watch the classic Family Guy.

The way their lips move to the lyrics in unison is funny to me for some reason.

In the early seasons, I thought Peter was the bad influence, but it's turning into Lois who is that
Later on, Peter was becoming just like his children and Lois was becoming more abusive and toxic
That whole Christmas episode too
Yeah
Peter as a child is like the oldest brother of all the children

I love it when Family is wholesome in its own "Family Guy" way
Meg's idea of eating Pizza like a ice cream sandwich sounds actually genius tbh.
There once was a wise word coming from our friendly neighborhood said...
_"PIZZA TIME!"_

Patrick stump making another undercover cameo. Love it.
That's how you do a commercial it instantly makes me wanna have some pizza
This is honestly a adorable family time, specially considering how family guy is 90% of the time.
