Hey DJ Jazzy Jeff, Reuben Howell is my dad. So cool to see this pop up on my news feed. Thanks for keeping his music alive. I have some uncut stuff of his if you're interested. He was the first white, American, male, soloist to record two full albums with Motown. He passed away in 2004 of a heart attack at 59.
I always love listening to jeff mix. I think it's about time after listening to alot of hip-hop in my lifetime I now look for samples and also DJs that savour my music taste buds for more knowledge.
This is what I want from a DJ album! I want them to make sampled beats and have a rapper lay vocals on the track AND THEN THE DJ SCRATCH MIXES IT!!!!!! Oh man, I've seen Jazzy Jeff 10 times and he NEVER disappoints. Just wish I could hear that live style on record!!! Many blessings and Love ❤️ thanks for this.

Just discovered rhythm roulette. Thanks for allowing us to enter in production studios with high quality beatmakers. Precious moments. Thanks for all your work. Keep up
Speechless. Just speechless. He still kills it! This is a sick track! I wish Jazzy Jeff would hand pick a group of unsigned hype and put out series of compilation cds.
DJ Jazzy Jeff!! Now that's what I'm talking about!! Such an inspiration in my early days on the hip hop scene. It's great to see the brotha still putting in work.

Those are probably all his records, that’s why the homie picked for him
😀😀😀😀😀
He's A Legend!
This will go down as one of the best rhythm roulette episodes ever
OE Beats agreed
This ep was nice but I personally like 9th, Banner and El-P over this ep.
Mos Def, one of the best yo..
I don't recall a Mos Def ep unless you're saying "most definitely" one of the best ep's here lol
Definitely fire! I might have to jack that first sample!

I love the way that 1st beat came together. The way he layered those drums was fire. Tuff.
This man treated this like a paid studio session for a highly anticipated album. I even enjoyed the rapper.
This episode made me happy as a dj, an emcee, a beat maker and a straight hip hop head ..
Finished product is nothing short of amazing
