You love all these 30 quid jobs Sandy , I did an Injector seal last friday on an r56 diesel , then on Tuesday dpf light came on , removed under side tray , tank off , looked in bladder bag , split , no fluid , 139 quid plus vat , also it broke down twice over weekend, crank sensor , needed 3 extra fingers to get in as headlight wouldnt come out , captive spinning , minis are crap , so many for sale spares or repairs , petrol 16 valves are worse, take care guys 👍
That is so well explained to detail I am thing of buying 2011 Mini Cooper d has had clutch just changed and it got a full service history but has 190.000 miles on clock is it to high milage for this engine as I don’t no the milage the 1.6 deisal engine could go on to do thank fo any advice
Done one of these a couple months ago. Horrid job, but managed not to take front bumper off. Dropped down whole exhaust. Partially cut turbo heat shields. Unbolted Dpf from turbo & pushed it forward a couple inches. Cut the head off the silly E torx with a pneumatic saw. Interestingly on newer psa cars, you can unscrew the dpf stud out of the block, in order to undo the 13mm gearbox bolt

You need to check out Kevin-Albert Williams Sandy...That lad is an absolute master of clutch replacement. Nice work. Cheers 👍
I did Ian I followed his video but the diesel version was more involved, yes his video is brilliant cheers Pal
Thanks sandy just tought me never to do a clutch on one of them
Excellent video thanks. Any tips on removing the pressure sensors in the dpf? Mine are in totally solid. Thanks
Heat it up by driving the car or use an induction heater to get plenty of heat into it👍

@@sandyande So So true, I have a nasty job on at the moment too, must be in the air.
Look like a lot of fun Sandy.
It was an achievement Tam, nightmare LOL
No mention of the difficulty in removing starter motor etc etc it just jumped to gearbox off !!!
🪄 magic
don’t need to remove the starter, just undo 3 bolts and leave the starter in place.
That's a good few hours of labour there.
Is this town big enough for the both of us? 🤣
