It’s funny, because in his most recent viral TikTok makeup video he said that he hated them, but in this video in the beginning, he said that he loved these videos
I think the lipstick hack's key is that her liner was high contrast to her natural lip color/base. Then, hers wasn't very blended and she used a lipstick that was close to the natural color. You did use a decent contrasting liner, but when it was blended out before the lipstick, the contrast didn't remain. Keeping a very stark 'highlight' in between the areas of liner would definitely help the effect.
also i think the girl the video didnt apply lipstick on below contoured area for the shadow to be seen
yeah she didn’t use a lot of lipstick she dabbed it on. the lip combo is definitely supposed to be more liner heavy
