Company വ്യത്യാസമില്ലാതെ ഒട്ട് മിക്ക വാഹങ്ങളിലും Mist Issue ഉണ്ടാകുന്നുണ്ട്. അകത്തേയും പുറത്തെയും Temperature Difference ആണ് പ്രശ്നം. മഴയും രാത്രിയും കൂടി ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ ആണ് പ്രശ്നം രൂക്ഷമാകുന്നത്. മഴ സമയത്ത് വെളിയിലെ Temp കുറയുമ്പോൾ അകത്തും, അകത്തെ Temp കുറയുമ്പോൾ പുറത്തു നിന്നും Mist ഉണ്ടാകും. Inside & Outside Temp match ആയാൽ വെല്യ വിഷയം വരില്ല. മഴ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ Cabin Temperature 20-22 Range Set ചെയ്താൽ കുറെ ഒക്കെ പരിഹരിക്കാം.
My Honda Mobilio had this side glass mist issue. I tried a lot of temperature controls to remove that, but failed. Now i am using Kia Sonet for last 4 years and it has no such issue. അപ്പോ ഓടിക്കുന്ന ആളുടെ പ്രശ്നം അല്ല....വണ്ടിയുടെ പ്രശ്നം തന്നെ ആണ്...

Excellent point, in addition to that many people redirect A/C towards windshield when it rains, and cold air will reduce the windshield temperature to low values, then dew happens (at dew point) & later mist formation happens. Even if the A/C is redirected to cabin, leaked air from duct dampers will still make its way towards windshield. My BMW can separately control temperature of central air vents & I kind of avoid this issue by having hotter air redirecting the windshield and cold air towards passengers. Still it can be a problem on long drives, so we can't overcome physics and we should accept it for what it is by taking small breaks in between long drives or running heater for a short durations or simply put highest set point so dwe formation won't happen. Note: Even if you put a high set point temperature like 20-24°C, at times the air from HVAC ducts can be as low as 6°C, (When it rains, and outdoor humidity is high, the Dwe point temperature can be around 6- 8°C, so better avoid direct exposure of air to the windshield.

I’m using Honda vehicles since 2011. 2011 City clocked 145000 km and was replaced by an automatic ZX model city in 2017. 2017 city has done 140000 km. I have recently added Honda Elevate ZX variant and has clocked 6000 km. The issue is mist on glass is universal but Elevate has a significant tendency of attracting mist in cold weather. Besides, thigh support in front row seats are not adequate for reasonably built persons. Cabin noise also accounts as the engine bay in the side of front doors are not properly insulated. Mileage is good considering the fact that on controlled driving conditions 12 to 15 kmpl is averaged in city conditions and in long distance drive with minimal braking and less traffic an appreciable 18 to 21kmpl was clocked. The ADAS is primitive in nature compared to its counterparts, but still works neatly on our roads especially on highways where lane is distinctly marked. Collision avoidance is active always and is effective. Overall a neat car sans noise levels and comfortable front seats. I still maintain Honda City ZX which has done 140000 km as the driving is more luxurious and opulent with prominent road presence.
I am using Elevate for past 2 months and I stay in the same HMT area. The tire noise is coming in.... But the mist is common for all vehicles in Kerala. I had the same problem in my Figo and have experienced the same in Hyundai i10 as well. What the company told is right. It is mainly because of the temperature difference and the oil and dust accumulation on the glass. Windshield cleaner are available in the market to get it cleared. The side view can be fixed by adjusting the AC air flow.

I own a Honda City 5th-generation vehicle, and road noise has been a significant issue for me as well. Just as the Elevate owner mentioned, the noise becomes especially pronounced when driving on tiled pavement or concrete roads. Additionally, there’s a rattling sound from the dashboard and door panels. From my perspective, it seems Honda has implemented considerable cost-cutting measures in the City 5th generation. The quality of interior plastics has noticeably decreased, and it appears that sound insulation has been reduced or removed entirely. Despite paying ₹18.5 lakhs for the car, the quality does not meet my expectations.

@Lathi33 അകത്തെ ചൂടും പുറത്തെ ചൂടും വ്യത്യാസം വന്നാൽ മിസ്റ് വരും... വേറെ കാര്യം ഒന്നും ഇല്ല...എൻ്റെ മാരുതി സെലേറിയോ ിലും കാണാറുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ ഹോണ്ട സിറ്റിയിൽ സ്റ്റിയറിംഗിൻ്റെ റൈറ് സൈഡിൽ മിറർ ിലേക്കെ വേണ്ടി ഡെഡിക്കേറ്റ് ആയി ഒരു എയർ വെൻ്റ് ഉണ്ട്. ഇതിലൂടെ വരുന്ന എയർ ആണ് ചില സമയത്ത് മിറർ കാണാൻ തടസ്സം ആയി അവിടുത്തെ ഗ്ലാസിൽ.. മിസ്ട് ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത്.
The issues could be solved very easily 1. He being a doctor must be having fully airconditioned clinic and hence in car also he must be switching on the ac at full speed even during rainy season. The mist in front glass is on account of temperature variation. Inside being very cool and outside being hot from engine. Hot air blows to front glass and mist forms. This could be solved by increasing the temperature to 25 26 for a short peroid. 2. Having a honda jazz my self the side window mist is also on account of same issue of temperature being very cold inside and outside being hot. In honda cars the side ac vent air flow could be controlled. So by reducing the air flow through the side ac vents, this mist could be avoided in its entirety. These are really small issues which the driver himself can solve and does not require service center intervention.

These problems in elevate are common in many other brand cars . Regarding sound problem cabin noise is due to poor insulation. It’s also there in other brands. For rain fog issue there are many sprays available in the market moreover you can do defogger insulation for front glass but this you may need to repeat on intervals and for rear view mirror you can buy a film available in the market it’s called rain proof mirror you can paste it on the rear view mirrors so that water shall not stay on the mirror
I have a City 5th Gen. The mist issue is real. It’s not an AC usage issue. Even if you use the AC correctly, the mist will form. Only the people who have used Honda will know. I am a Honda fanboy FYI, but this issue is a real pain.
Change the direction of the air flow to the floor direction by turning the knob or the electronic control as per your model. During rains , it is better the air flow hit our foot area instead of side glasses to avoid mist formation.
The issues you said which you are facing in the rain are due to improper isolation in the cabin. There is a slight air flow from outside into the cabin, and that is creating these issues. Honda elevate has this issue.
I too have this same issue in my Elevate,On long rides continuously for 1000kms ,tyre noise were terrible , heavy rain and fog , we will get warning that " Some Driver Assist System Cannot Operate: Clean Front Windscreen Or Poor Viewing Condition" , that time I felt radar adas is more reliable. I have upgraded from honda jazz to elevate I expect more as a honda fan boy, else its a ultimate vehicle, I own CvT , zero lag and power on wheels🔥
I’ve managed to get 14.5 km/l on Kerala roads using Honda Elevate. And on long distance highways I have got 16.8km/l in spite of climbing ghats. The trick is in applying defensive driving on Kerala roads.

എനിക്ക് elevate full option manual ഉണ്ട്.എനിക്കും same problem ഉണ്ട്. Show റൂമിൽ പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ അത് സീരിയസ് ആയി എടുത്തില്ല. Safety യെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന കാര്യമായതിനാൽ Honda ഇതു കാര്യമായി പരിശോധിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്

Same fogging issue exists in my honda city 2023. Honda service in Malappuram had asked to change the glass but won’t get covered under warranty 😢. I think there might be some issue in the defogger system of these cars. If we keep the same air conditioning settings, my 15 year old alto wont fog up but a one year old honda city does .. strange 23:34

Water repellent okke use ചെയ്താൽ മതി... അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഫംഗസ് oinment ഉപയോഗിച്ചാൽ മതി.. രണ്ട് ആണേലും ഇടക്കിടക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടി വരും... ഡ്രൈവ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിൻ്റെ ഇടക്ക് ആണെങ്കിൽ temp High ഇല് ഇട്ടിട്ടു ഗ്ലാസ് വിൻഡോ എല്ലാം താഴ്ത്തി വെച്ച് ഒരു 10 മിനിട്ട് ഓടി കഴിയുമ്പോ മാറിക്കോളും. പിന്നേം വരും അപ്പോഴും അത് പോലെ ചെയ്യുക.
Glass mist can be removed easily by switching on the front mist switch in auto ac...if it is manual ac, we ican turn the ac switches manually to front glass..it is not an issue of honda..during rain its a common issue in all vehicles.
All three drawbacks he mentioned about the Elevate are issues I have experienced with my Elevate as well. It seems to be a common problem.Nothing can be done by the dealers, Honda needs to address this issue.

I had the same problem in my 2020 model SCross. 1)side glass fogging was caused by AC vent direction hitting the side glass. I solved it by adjusting the air flow direction. 2) wind shield fog film was appearing in rain and at night(cold nights) The reason was the cleaning cloth. If same cloth is used for body and glass, then an invisible layer of wax sticks to the windshield and it collects andretain the moisture, blockig the view. Clean the windshield with hotwater and soap, good luck.
Regarding mist on side glass during the rain, I too had similar issue with my Santro 2019 model. It was so frustrating driving in tight traffic in cochin during rainy season. Hyundai staff couldn’t provide a solution other than increasing the temperature. Finally, I closed that ac vent focusing the window with brown tape and resolved the problem.
I think film formation on glass is due to the additives used in engine oils, it cant be removed using ordinary car shampoo.. I used dishwasher liquid and found working.
ഹോണ്ട എലിവേറ്റിന്റെ പ്രശ്നം നിസാരമാണ്. ഫോഗ് പോകാൻ എ സി ഓഫ്‌ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുക. അകത്തുള്ള തണുപ്പ് ചൂട് സെറ്റിങ്ങിൽ പോയി ടെമ്പറേച്ചർ അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുക. അപ്പോൾ എ സി, വണ്ടിക്കകത്തുള്ള ഈർപ്പം വലിച്ചെടുക്കും. ടെംപറേച്ചർ സെറ്റ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള പക്ഷം തണുപ്പ് തോന്നുകയും ഇല്ല. സൈഡ് വിൻഡോയിൽ നേരിട്ട് എ സി യുടെ കാറ്റ് അടിക്കാതെ വെക്കുക. ഫ്രണ്ടിലെ വിണ്ട് ഷീൽഡിന് അകത്ത് ഒരു തരം ഓയിൽ കൊട്ടിങ്ങ് ഉണ്ടാക്കും . വിൻഡോ തുറന്നിട്ട്‌ ഓടിക്കുമ്പോൾ വരുന്നതാണ്. ക്ളീൻ ചെയ്യുക.

I use Honda elevate.. Mist forms when humidity is high and glass surface cools with AC draft ..try moving the AC louvres downward or away from the window glass pane...lowering the window and trying to clean the outside of glass is not a good idea , especially during rains !

Similar to the Honda Elevate, the 2023 Tiago NRG also has this issue. We tried everything, and I found a family member facing the same problem with his Tata Punch
I own a 5th gen facelift Honda City. The windshield gets the mist so soon and it won’t go off even with the defogger on. Wipers also don’t do much of a great job to remove the mist. I think NVH is a concern among all the Honda vehicles.
I am also a Honda elevate owner. I am also having the same front windshield issue mentioned in the video. Reported it to service centres where i have done the servicing ( 1,2 and 3 services done) but no one is taking this issue seriously. Purchased the car from Vision Honda, did 2 services from there and due to no proper response regarding the issue i mentioned decided to try Premier Honda and awaiting for their response in this matter. Apart from this issue i am not having any other major issues other than NVH and dust entering doors due to poor door beadings which is a common drawback of elevate. Hope someone from the company helps with the front windshield issue many people are facing.
I purchased Honda Elevate Automatic 2 months back. I have thru with it some 4000+ kms but didn't face such problems raised by the Doctor. May be improved by Honda tech structure? Overall it gives great performance so far. Hope it will keep it up!

Need to balance the air temperature inside and ouside the car. While raining or winter season better to use ac air intake from out side. Then balance the temperature. And even in ac itself mentioned while using defoggers air intake from out side is recommended.

My Elevate's NVH are very low now. *Aircon is very strong, reminds Fords HVAC system. I have applied Garware Icecool results in good thermal efficiency. Mist is a issue at times, can be solved with some techniques. *Expect mileage only 13.5. ## I can suggest a better wiper of Bosch or some good make, apply thin film of surfactant / some coatings during rainy season. This mist issues are faced by majority of car owners. I have Ford Ecosport, Grand i10. Both are facing mist issues! Car feels amazing compared to other so called SUV's and best part is cost of owning and running cost❤

You can try by changing the direction of AC vent on either side of the doors. I think the issue happens because the Air-con vents near to the door sides are being directed towards the glass.

I also own Honda Elevate for past 8 months. Fog issue: I didn’t face the issue in windshield. Blowing air to windshield will usually clear the mist. When we wind down the side glass it will not wipe the outer surface. The glass beading design in Elevate is like that. If there are water droplets in side glass, we have to wipe manually. But it didn’t drastically affect my visibility if the glass and ORVM are clean. NVH issue: There is not enough insulation in the Fender side. Also door beadings are cut beadings. There is enough of cost cutting evident. So there is slightly noticeable noise, but not at the level of worrying us. But dust in the door sides and boot lid is really annoying.

I am using Elevate. I had this issue. It is due to Ac vent faced side glass. Solved by changing the flow direction.

Inside & Outside Temp match ആയാൽ വെല്യ വിഷയം വരില്ല. മഴ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ Cabin Temperature 20-22 Range Set ചെയ്താൽ കുറെ ഒക്കെ പരിഹരിക്കാം.

Excellent point, in addition to that many people redirect A/C towards windshield when it rains, and cold air will reduce the windshield temperature to low values, then dew happens (at dew point) & later mist formation happens. Even if the A/C is redirected to cabin, leaked air from duct dampers will still make its way towards windshield.
My BMW can separately control temperature of central air vents & I kind of avoid this issue by having hotter air redirecting the windshield and cold air towards passengers. Still it can be a problem on long drives, so we can't overcome physics and we should accept it for what it is by taking small breaks in between long drives or running heater for a short durations or simply put highest set point so dwe formation won't happen.
Note: Even if you put a high set point temperature like 20-24°C, at times the air from HVAC ducts can be as low as 6°C, (When it rains, and outdoor humidity is high, the Dwe point temperature can be around 6- 8°C, so better avoid direct exposure of air to the windshield.

I’m using Honda vehicles since 2011. 2011 City clocked 145000 km and was replaced by an automatic ZX model city in 2017. 2017 city has done 140000 km. I have recently added Honda Elevate ZX variant and has clocked 6000 km. The issue is mist on glass is universal but Elevate has a significant tendency of attracting mist in cold weather. Besides, thigh support in front row seats are not adequate for reasonably built persons. Cabin noise also accounts as the engine bay in the side of front doors are not properly insulated. Mileage is good considering the fact that on controlled driving conditions 12 to 15 kmpl is averaged in city conditions and in long distance drive with minimal braking and less traffic an appreciable 18 to 21kmpl was clocked. The ADAS is primitive in nature compared to its counterparts, but still works neatly on our roads especially on highways where lane is distinctly marked. Collision avoidance is active always and is effective. Overall a neat car sans noise levels and comfortable front seats. I still maintain Honda City ZX which has done 140000 km as the driving is more luxurious and opulent with prominent road presence.

I am using Elevate for past 2 months and I stay in the same HMT area. The tire noise is coming in.... But the mist is common for all vehicles in Kerala. I had the same problem in my Figo and have experienced the same in Hyundai i10 as well. What the company told is right. It is mainly because of the temperature difference and the oil and dust accumulation on the glass. Windshield cleaner are available in the market to get it cleared. The side view can be fixed by adjusting the AC air flow.

I own a Honda City 5th-generation vehicle, and road noise has been a significant issue for me as well. Just as the Elevate owner mentioned, the noise becomes especially pronounced when driving on tiled pavement or concrete roads. Additionally, there’s a rattling sound from the dashboard and door panels.
From my perspective, it seems Honda has implemented considerable cost-cutting measures in the City 5th generation. The quality of interior plastics has noticeably decreased, and it appears that sound insulation has been reduced or removed entirely. Despite paying ₹18.5 lakhs for the car, the quality does not meet my expectations.

The issues could be solved very easily
1. He being a doctor must be having fully airconditioned clinic and hence in car also he must be switching on the ac at full speed even during rainy season. The mist in front glass is on account of temperature variation. Inside being very cool and outside being hot from engine. Hot air blows to front glass and mist forms. This could be solved by increasing the temperature to 25 26 for a short peroid.
2. Having a honda jazz my self the side window mist is also on account of same issue of temperature being very cold inside and outside being hot. In honda cars the side ac vent air flow could be controlled. So by reducing the air flow through the side ac vents, this mist could be avoided in its entirety.
These are really small issues which the driver himself can solve and does not require service center intervention.

These problems in elevate are common in many other brand cars . Regarding sound problem cabin noise is due to poor insulation. It’s also there in other brands.
For rain fog issue there are many sprays available in the market moreover you can do defogger insulation for front glass but this you may need to repeat on intervals and for rear view mirror you can buy a film available in the market it’s called rain proof mirror you can paste it on the rear view mirrors so that water shall not stay on the mirror
I have a City 5th Gen. The mist issue is real. It’s not an AC usage issue. Even if you use the AC correctly, the mist will form.
Only the people who have used Honda will know. I am a Honda fanboy FYI, but this issue is a real pain.

Change the direction of the air flow to the floor direction by turning the knob or the electronic control as per your model. During rains , it is better the air flow hit our foot area instead of side glasses to avoid mist formation.

The issues you said which you are facing in the rain are due to improper isolation in the cabin. There is a slight air flow from outside into the cabin, and that is creating these issues. Honda elevate has this issue.
Yes. Side mirrors will be filled with mist during the rainy season. That's very annoying. I am using a top-end version of Elevate.
I too have this same issue in my Elevate,On long rides continuously for 1000kms ,tyre noise were terrible , heavy rain and fog , we will get warning that " Some Driver Assist System Cannot Operate: Clean Front Windscreen Or Poor Viewing Condition" , that time I felt radar adas is more reliable. I have upgraded from honda jazz to elevate I expect more as a honda fan boy, else its a ultimate vehicle, I own CvT , zero lag and power on wheels🔥

Same fogging issue exists in my honda city 2023. Honda service in Malappuram had asked to change the glass but won’t get covered under warranty 😢.
I think there might be some issue in the defogger system of these cars. If we keep the same air conditioning settings, my 15 year old alto wont fog up but a one year old honda city does .. strange 23:34

Side window mist is due to misdirected ac vent. But front windshield fogging and NVH is really a problem. I am a AMAZE owner for past 5 yrs.

Glass mist can be removed easily by switching on the front mist switch in auto ac...if it is manual ac, we ican turn the ac switches manually to front glass..it is not an issue of honda..during rain its a common issue in all vehicles.

I had the same problem in my 2020 model SCross. 1)side glass fogging was caused by AC vent direction hitting the side glass. I solved it by adjusting the air flow direction. 2) wind shield fog film was appearing in rain and at night(cold nights) The reason was the cleaning cloth. If same cloth is used for body and glass, then an invisible layer of wax sticks to the windshield and it collects andretain the moisture, blockig the view. Clean the windshield with hotwater and soap, good luck.
Regarding mist on side glass during the rain, I too had similar issue with my Santro 2019 model. It was so frustrating driving in tight traffic in cochin during rainy season. Hyundai staff couldn’t provide a solution other than increasing the temperature. Finally, I closed that ac vent focusing the window with brown tape and resolved the problem.
I think film formation on glass is due to the additives used in engine oils, it cant be removed using ordinary car shampoo.. I used dishwasher liquid and found working.

I use Honda elevate.. Mist forms when humidity is high and glass surface cools with AC draft ..try moving the AC louvres downward or away from the window glass pane...lowering the window and trying to clean the outside of glass is not a good idea , especially during rains !

I own a 5th gen facelift Honda City. The windshield gets the mist so soon and it won’t go off even with the defogger on. Wipers also don’t do much of a great job to remove the mist. I think NVH is a concern among all the Honda vehicles.
I am also a Honda elevate owner. I am also having the same front windshield issue mentioned in the video. Reported it to service centres where i have done the servicing ( 1,2 and 3 services done) but no one is taking this issue seriously. Purchased the car from Vision Honda, did 2 services from there and due to no proper response regarding the issue i mentioned decided to try Premier Honda and awaiting for their response in this matter. Apart from this issue i am not having any other major issues other than NVH and dust entering doors due to poor door beadings which is a common drawback of elevate. Hope someone from the company helps with the front windshield issue many people are facing.
I purchased Honda Elevate Automatic 2 months back. I have thru with it some 4000+ kms but didn't face such problems raised by the Doctor. May be improved by Honda tech structure? Overall it gives great performance so far. Hope it will keep it up!

Need to balance the air temperature inside and ouside the car. While raining or winter season better to use ac air intake from out side. Then balance the temperature. And even in ac itself mentioned while using defoggers air intake from out side is recommended.

* Noise issues undu, which can be solved using Continental UC6 tyres and some door damping.
My Elevate's NVH are very low now.
*Aircon is very strong, reminds Fords HVAC system. I have applied Garware Icecool results in good thermal efficiency. Mist is a issue at times, can be solved with some techniques.
*Expect mileage only 13.5.
## I can suggest a better wiper of Bosch or some good make, apply thin film of surfactant / some coatings during rainy season.
This mist issues are faced by majority of car owners. I have Ford Ecosport, Grand i10. Both are facing mist issues!

You can try by changing the direction of AC vent on either side of the doors. I think the issue happens because the Air-con vents near to the door sides are being directed towards the glass.

I also own Honda Elevate for past 8 months.
Fog issue: I didn’t face the issue in windshield. Blowing air to windshield will usually clear the mist. When we wind down the side glass it will not wipe the outer surface. The glass beading design in Elevate is like that. If there are water droplets in side glass, we have to wipe manually. But it didn’t drastically affect my visibility if the glass and ORVM are clean.
NVH issue: There is not enough insulation in the Fender side. Also door beadings are cut beadings. There is enough of cost cutting evident. So there is slightly noticeable noise, but not at the level of worrying us. But dust in the door sides and boot lid is really annoying.
