Thanks for the review and demonstration of the Bergeon 5700 Case Opener, and for going into detail on the good, the bad and the awkward things to do with the Bergeon 5700 Case Opener. Thanks also for the helpful tips using a spacer with the blocks, and for talking about the good and bad about the Bergeon adjustable case clamp, that you used as a last resort. It was also good to hear your thoughts on the Chinese copy of this, and that it served you well for quite a while. I didn’t know that there is a Chinese copy that was a lot cheaper.
Thanks for the review. I rarely open case backs so I went for the Vevor clone of this from Amazon. Cost £96 and came with all the blocks, pins and Rolex sockets. For me it more than enough and with half a dozen reasonably expensive quartz watches we have lying around that all need batteries, it’s already paid for itself 3 fold. Its a way better solution to a Jaxa which I also have but I always find they can be hit and miss. It’s just not worth the stress using it.

Could you not get an extra set of die blocks and trim them down with a knife to get 21mm and 18mm?
