I’ve hugged a way huge swollen pickle for about 6 years now, but I run an American deluxe strat through it into a twin reverb (both amps, split). I’ve never found anything I like more...great for playing Josh Homme style riffs; everything from Kyuss to QOTSA.
Any overdrive, even for bass, can sound good if you use DI output IMHO. Speaker response is essential in a OD sound to get that creamy organic sound of 70s bassist.
I promise you it does not sound this bad in real life.

Thanks for this! Exactly the overview I was looking for!
Whoa!!! Thunder ⚡⚡⚡⛈️ bass tone great for that classic geddy lee rush bass tone and it still holds the bottom end I'm definitely picking one up
you guys should do a rig run down of shellac or just Steve Albini! He has a rad guitar tone!
I know it's quite randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released series online ?
@Cristiano Kelvin lately I have been using FlixZone. Just search on google for it :)
Seriously get another bassist for the reviews........ I’m surprised way huge doesn’t sue you for this review
SweBass how about you
Yeah, when does your review come out?
Craig Moran well I’m not payed like this guy to make reviews. Send me one and I’ll review it for you no problem
I must be both too old and too young.
What's that riff he keeps playing?
Awesome pedals and player....70s all over
Shoulda learned some Jack white riffs or something for this lol. Good demo though nice job
That sounds soo veryi horrible. You ran it off 9 volts, didnt ya?
It's a 9 volt pedal, that's all you can run it at.
@@CorporalGylton that's just a label on the case. Take a look around the internet, talkbass forum especially.
flatwounds strings plus overdrive = shit basstone
Not to mention short-scale bass. Overdrive demos should always be done with a Precision.
