We all feel like Syn and Nuer needed more screentime. This couple is just too cute not to be given attention to. But the truth is their character don't even exist in the original novel. The screen writer probably tried their best so Syn and Nuer roles don't affect existing plot too much.

Nuer and Syn story deserved much more attention than Yi and Diao's. Their chemistry and the slow burning feeling is everything I signed up for in a BL series. Yi and Diao's story is pretty much the same as Lian and Kuea's and it seems like it goes nowhere.
PS. Syn getting thirsty seeing a shirtless Nuer was EVERYTHING 😂

we all definitely need to learn the importance of communication in a relationship from Lian and Kuea although it's not much yet but at least they have started to open up with each other.
There isn't much of a communication between them because keua have been lying and hiding secrets from lian because he didn't trust and believe in lian and lian is the same and even worse because he having people following keua everywhere he goes and he even install camera in home to watch keua every move and even plot with keua boss behind his back and now lian is putting keua family fortune in his name without keua permission and he's behaving untrustworthy and to make matters worse he got keua to trust and love unconditional even more than ever while keeping keua in the dark.
It's also hypocritical of him to judge and advise his friend to be honest to his boyfriend and trust but he isn't taking his own advice when it comes to his relationship with keua.

Kuea may have his flaws but that's nothing compared to Lians sneaky behaviour. Spying on his fiance but still pretending to be clueless, kissing him without consent when he was deadly drunk, conspire with his mother behind his back (talking about straighten him up as if he's not good enough 😡) and the list just goes on. If I didn't know better (because it's a cute lovestory and it will obviously end as these storys always does) I would say Lian is obsessed with wealth and money and Kuea is the last puzzle piece to get to the top.
With that said I still love the serie and the actors are so good together. It's just strange nowadays bl viewers seem to ignore any negative points. It wasn't like that before.
@@beckyburton9749 actually those cameras were already there because Lian pretty much worked 24/7 so he was never home. Also he just checked the camera because he wanted to see if Kuea found his surprise. But have them removed when he realized how much of an invasion of privacy it could be.
He wouldn't have been able to transfer the title and land deeds into his name without Kuea's parents permission. It's not like he's completely doing it without anyone knowing they know it just Kuea doesn't.
Kuea's family is like royalty and his dad's an ambassador so it would only make sense for his own safety since everybody knows the Kuraati name there's somebody to keep him safe.
@@sunnyflower6231 actually the Kuraati family is bankrupt they've been in deep financial trouble since his grandfather's been alive. In order to pay off their debt they've had to sell almost all their factories except for one and Lian's financing it. This is why he's been transferring the title and land deeds into his name with their permission so that their assets aren't liquidated to pay off their debts. He planned to give them back to Kuea after they got married. That's why his parents didn't tell him either because it's not all on Lian they didn't want him to worry or have his life be interrupted.
@@airbear8240 I know all that. Lian is not a bad person and he obviously loves Kuea in his own way but he has done a lot of wrong moves. He's accusing Kuea of having secrets and hiding his real self but he himself does exactly the same. While he's acting cold against Kuea (without hesitation hurts him badly by saying he's a doll that he can't love) he's follow his every step to reveal his private life, letting someone take photos of him, discussing him with his boss, conspire with his mother as if he's their own little project to form (no wonder Kuea is insecure, having the feeling he has to be someone else to be accepted). I realise it sounds as if I dislike Lian but I actually like his complex character. But he's not perfect as most fans claim him to be.

Actually there's no Syn and Nuer detailed story in the novel. I remember it was just a mention of Syn bringing a classmate (Nuer) in the temple. Also Kuea's friends are really funny in the novel, especially Syn with his money collecting habit lol.

I understand that they might wanted to be creative and insert them as another cp for the audience but imo wish they'd used more of that screen time to deep down the details and moments they left behind about the main cps instead.... and don't get me wrong, I love them as characters! According from what I have read from twitter. Majority of the people think that the scene is not appropriate. That’s why they asked for it to be deleted.
