To be honest, the reason I so very much appreciate this scene is because I knew for sure what the characters feel for each other. Kuea's face as well: after that shaky yes when Lian asks if he knows what they are doing, his face shows determination, curiosity, awe, need and trust. He gives himself fully to Lian, he DECIDES to do so, and he owns it, and it's beautiful. And huge kudos for New as well, especially that he is a young actor. He made me fully feel what Kuea felt, and it was very touching.

Seriously the hottest thing I have ever watched. The whole scene was probably one of the most beautifully done intimate scenes out of just about any show out there.
Can we talk about how Lian: put Kuea on top, stopped for the first sign, talked despite of excitement, confessed repeatedly, admitted fault, restarted gently, made sure Kuea knows what is happening, waited to move on till he was comfortable again, told him to say if anything is wrong, gave Kuea time to get used to new feelings... Respected him in every possible way. And how Kuea opened up, offering his heart on a plate... This is how people in love make love. The direction of the love making scene is pitch perfectly reflect this respect as well: just enough visuals to understand where we are, but leaving the most to the imagination, so everyone can live this sensual feeling on their own. This is a whole new level of interpretation of love between boys / men, and I cannot thank the creators enough.

I know my boys i know that the scene is a masterpiece and it can ofc level up and compare to the sincerity if any drama not only BL .. but i specified mentioning BL because not all BL actors can be this comfortable around each other to deliver this kind of sincerity.. otherwise in my humble opinion I see it is easy to be achieved for the normal dramas or the straight couples..because also in my humble opinion it is not very common to be this comfortable and brave for two guy actors to show this type of deep passion to each other the way these tow did that's why i compared it to BL more but it definitely levels up for more🌹
This is literally one of the best scenes I’ve seen in a Thai BL. Everything is so respectful and there’s communication and consent to everything. It’s so beautiful and it’s just seeing that relationship grow and bloom amazingly. Not only is it just oh look they’re having sex but it’s more of them forming a connection and building that trust. And not to mention the actors are wonderful I could really feel the emotions and hard work they put into this. Cutie pie definitely deserves a 10/10 and all the actors deserve recognition.

The whole staff should get recognition for this scene. The actors are the face of this scene, but the writers, director, set designers, editor, cameramen, sound crew, etc. should be applauded for this scene. This scene is what the rest of the industry should emulate. It’s just so well done. Other BL’s often create scenes that feed fans’, let’s be honest, voyeuristic tendencies, but this scene doesn’t make it feel like we’re peeping Toms. It felt more like sharing in their love, rather then watching them from a corner in the room. That’s really the best way I can explain it.

Also, i want to point out one very small but very sweet gesture, when Hia lian brought kuea in room he was so gentle with him like many other bls i thought he'll throw him on bed to portray the sexual and dominant side but the way he gently placed him and maintained the eye contact was so so beautiful. The couch scene was the highlight of this part of the ep for me. They are communicating. They are speaking their mind to each other finally. No one assuming each other's feeling, no more over thinking, they are asking and answering each other face to face. Communication problem was the main problem in their relationship and now slowly they are trying to fix it. The entire show is actually about the development in their relationship, learning and teaching about each other and understanding how the other person feels. This series is really great if you understand the concept, you can see that it's more than just a light hearted rom-com

I have to comment again. The way that Hia Lian asks for his consent multiple times is SO GOOD. And I loved how they talked on the couch and actually communicated. It shows the contrast between them and Hia Yi not saying anything to Kon Diao. I just love everything about this, the acting, writing, directing. Everything is beautiful and so well thought out. Even the scenes between Tutor and Yim are filled with meaningful gazes and subtext. I cannot stress how GOOD this series is. ❤️❤️❤️
Consent is a turn on and pushed Lian up the list of nicest semes. Right now, he is duelling against Mork Suttaya [in my head] because even though I like Mork, he was the grabbiest seme and Lian ruined the first kiss by kissing Kuea when the uke was drunk. I think I had the same struggle and now I have the words: I feel honored. Because I could see such a beautiful, honest and emotional love making scene. Because of being grsnted with magnificent acting, in a genre where let's be honest, acting skills are sometimes underrated compared to looks. But these two did it for us. They gave their all, and I simply feel honored, because I think this scene and show is a milestone in the filmmaking history, but somewhat for Thailand as well.

I think this is not all about contract restrictions. I guess many people knew that most of the BL actors are straight in real life and their job is acting and bring the script to life. Some would think that it's easy to do a kiss scene but if the actor is straight and he is asked to kiss another guy, it could be a challenge ( this would also apply to a gay actor who is asked to kiss another girl on screen). Instead, other actors would just touch each other lips without any emotions or feelings. They obvioulsly were acting but not into the character.
But, I'm glad that in this series, it's noticeable that all actors spent time and effort to bring what is the best for the audience. I believe that Zee and Nunew spent so much time together before filming to create this level of bonding with each other. Without doubt, they were setting a higher ceiling for future BL actors.
This was one of the most incredibly acted intimate scenes of two people who love each other and want to be closer. So tastefully and beautifully executed.
