im pretty sure i solved what the limbo thing means. limbo means an endless cycle of torment and such, which is reminicent of the gameplay of doors itself. limbo is also the first layer of dante's inferno, which could mean that doors takes place in some sort of afterlife, and since limbo is the first layer and the hotel is the first level, maybe these are the seven layers of hell or something? its very possible we're being punished, theres already some biblical theming in doors with the cross and such
Dread used to be exsausting to spawn before the update. You need to be in with the clock and wait for a real life 1 hour to spawb Dread. After doing so, you need to head into floor 13 just to encounter him.

During the seek chase i was confused while running thanks to the guiding light. The Guiding Light's Trail Confused me when i was in the next room, first, i jumped after the cliffhanger and the guiding light for me went LEFT So i jumped on the forward direction leaving me a dead end and leaving seek to go left instead of going forward. I should have focused on the light but there are obstacles so i guess that could be me being the bamboozled shish on doors. It aint a problem but it's alright

somewhat interesting theory, so i believe the next floor we will have to deal with the queen grumble since ive heard that the nest room is actually the grumbles protecting the queen. this also explains why a grumble appears out of nowhere before we enter the castle.
Captain jack attack, have you noticed that grumble really looks like screech? And in door 150 there are so many screechs black void like substance scattered everywhere? I think grumble was screech at some point which eventually got away from black liquid which made the piles. Also i have much more theories like these comment if you want more.

I think youre wrong about the last one. Pay attention to how Minecarts work in the mines. If they ever fall off a cliff or go somewhere irretrievable, Guiding Light _summons_ a new one in its place. That's what happened in the Seek chase, where Guiding Light summoned a minecart to keep the player going, as the light pointed Down, and not to the Door that was blocked off. Guiding Light knew what it was doing.
At the end of Floor 2 we see Seek save the player from a Grumble before they enter the castle. Maybe the red is for Seek, and he'll try to help the player in Floor 3 because there's an even more dangerous entity lurking in the castle?
The red light has been hinted towards for so long and I am excited to see what is going on!! In the Tower Heroes X Doors colab which isn’t exactly canon we could see in a week challenge a red light communicating with Figure and the other entities alerting and instructing them as the guiding light does for us. This light can also be seen when Seek shows up glowing, when entities fall from the crucifix, and in the painting on Door 60 along side Curious light and Guiding light, though Guiding light and Red light are faded out and smaller unless modifiers are enabled. There is not exactly clear connections to all the red lights, but the barrier that shows up covering the rooms when modifiers are being used and the red light seem to have somewhat of a connection. The community has named this light Mischievous light, it seems to share the modifier symbol having a connection to them and seems to guide the entities. There is much more about Mischievous light and I am excited to see it more!
I have a theory about guiding light. in floor one and two, we can see that guiding light protects the player from seek by blocking the door with magic or whatever, we can also see that when using the crucifix guiding light drags the entities down with magic, we can also see that minecarts respawn with a blue glow which is guiding lights color, reviving shows guiding lights color, and guiding light helps players find items with its glow. But see, if guiding light has the power to do all of this, why hasn't it done it before? Guiding light can revive the player at will but refuses to without a revive token, guiding light can stop entities but refuses to unless you have a crucifix, guiding light can block entities from going through doors but refuses to unless it has to do with a special event. guiding light CLEARLY has the power to stop entities from harming the player but refuses to for some reason. Also why is the alternate guiding light (apparently called curious light) which only shows up in rooms and back door, locked up behind two lockpicks and a skeleton key. Kind of strange if you ask me. Not only is curious light locked behind two lockpicks and a skeleton key, he is also locked behind a badge that you can only get after unlocking the door to rooms. In my opinion, I feel like guiding light is an evil entity, a gamemaster continuing on the game, making you loop back to lobby each time you die, which is why the lobby is in the void, and why there is no actual escape from the hotel. guiding light might have locked up curious light for some reason, which I'm assuming is because curious light might be the only thing that can stop guiding light. And if there is a red guiding light, maybe it's just as bad as guiding light, or maybe it's going to be what helps get rid of guiding light. I have a feeling guiding light is going to be the final boss of doors. I might be overthinking all of this, but I just have a gut feeling.

During the seek chase i was confused while running thanks to the guiding light. The Guiding Light's Trail Confused me when i was in the next room, first, i jumped after the cliffhanger and the guiding light for me went LEFT So i jumped on the forward direction leaving me a dead end and leaving seek to go left instead of going forward. I should have focused on the light but there are obstacles so i guess that could be me being the bamboozled shish on doors. It aint a problem but it's alright

somewhat interesting theory, so i believe the next floor we will have to deal with the queen grumble since ive heard that the nest room is actually the grumbles protecting the queen. this also explains why a grumble appears out of nowhere before we enter the castle.
Captain jack attack, have you noticed that grumble really looks like screech? And in door 150 there are so many screechs black void like substance scattered everywhere? I think grumble was screech at some point which eventually got away from black liquid which made the piles. Also i have much more theories like these comment if you want more.

Limbo means "an area between death and life"possibly meaning guiding light or the player as when we "die" we dont ACTUALLY die but go to guiding light possibly in limbo as gl(guiding light) could possibly be represented as the statue which would make sense as gl is kind of a guardian and the statue holds a sword

I think youre wrong about the last one.
Pay attention to how Minecarts work in the mines. If they ever fall off a cliff or go somewhere irretrievable, Guiding Light _summons_ a new one in its place. That's what happened in the Seek chase, where Guiding Light summoned a minecart to keep the player going, as the light pointed Down, and not to the Door that was blocked off.
Guiding Light knew what it was doing.

At the end of Floor 2 we see Seek save the player from a Grumble before they enter the castle. Maybe the red is for Seek, and he'll try to help the player in Floor 3 because there's an even more dangerous entity lurking in the castle?
The red light has been hinted towards for so long and I am excited to see what is going on!! In the Tower Heroes X Doors colab which isn’t exactly canon we could see in a week challenge a red light communicating with Figure and the other entities alerting and instructing them as the guiding light does for us. This light can also be seen when Seek shows up glowing, when entities fall from the crucifix, and in the painting on Door 60 along side Curious light and Guiding light, though Guiding light and Red light are faded out and smaller unless modifiers are enabled. There is not exactly clear connections to all the red lights, but the barrier that shows up covering the rooms when modifiers are being used and the red light seem to have somewhat of a connection. The community has named this light Mischievous light, it seems to share the modifier symbol having a connection to them and seems to guide the entities. There is much more about Mischievous light and I am excited to see it more!

I have a theory about guiding light.
in floor one and two, we can see that guiding light protects the player from seek by blocking the door with magic or whatever, we can also see that when using the crucifix guiding light drags the entities down with magic, we can also see that minecarts respawn with a blue glow which is guiding lights color, reviving shows guiding lights color, and guiding light helps players find items with its glow.
But see, if guiding light has the power to do all of this, why hasn't it done it before? Guiding light can revive the player at will but refuses to without a revive token, guiding light can stop entities but refuses to unless you have a crucifix, guiding light can block entities from going through doors but refuses to unless it has to do with a special event. guiding light CLEARLY has the power to stop entities from harming the player but refuses to for some reason.
Also why is the alternate guiding light (apparently called curious light) which only shows up in rooms and back door, locked up behind two lockpicks and a skeleton key. Kind of strange if you ask me. Not only is curious light locked behind two lockpicks and a skeleton key, he is also locked behind a badge that you can only get after unlocking the door to rooms.
In my opinion, I feel like guiding light is an evil entity, a gamemaster continuing on the game, making you loop back to lobby each time you die, which is why the lobby is in the void, and why there is no actual escape from the hotel. guiding light might have locked up curious light for some reason, which I'm assuming is because curious light might be the only thing that can stop guiding light. And if there is a red guiding light, maybe it's just as bad as guiding light, or maybe it's going to be what helps get rid of guiding light.
I have a feeling guiding light is going to be the final boss of doors. I might be overthinking all of this, but I just have a gut feeling.

I have a theory that Curious Light needs us to beat the sub-floors to bring balance between the Guiding and Mischievous Lights, who seem to be in some kind of battle, just like in the Room 60 painting, they're in the middle basically.

i think limbo refers to the way guiding light may talk to you in the death screen. saying "dont give up" meaning the players may be trapped in the hotel and guiding light is trying to help them.
Red is actually modifiers itself. When you die to blitz it says “she said we should call her blitz” she aka modifiers who is the red modifier meaning that the red fuse is maybe representing modifiers.
