@@victoriawilliams654 maybe I'm wrong but I assume he would never consider himself as a teacher beacuse he has nothing to teach, he is kinda showing something, maybe reminding us of something. There are a lot of beautiful concepts on buddhism like Brahman, some people say you are a god and you just forgot about it and your are looking for something that you already are, and when you realize that, something weird happens, but that is for you to find out, or remember, or experience. I could be wrong though, but who cares really? Ego is neccesary but another illusion. If the wind sing a song but sounds weird and fake who you gonna blame?

This very moment is the purpose ( life ) if these words were said from someone you love and respect you would believe and then have joy in your heart to be alive and you would drop the mind ( ego ) but if a person is caught up in who they think they are with most probably issues with this and that whatever someone says you will never believe ....forget the mind come from the heart .. LIFE has a purpose. It defenetly has a purpose. Every single life has a purpose. EVERYTHING has...a purpose.
Life is valuable, unique, distinguished, evolutionary - without purpose means its useless...no purpose...no good for anything....no point.

This sounds good until you realize that you have pay rent and buy food. This is how is define what is life's purpose.
As a biological species our purpose is to survive and multiply.
As individual humans, we can create and define our own purpose.
As a collective, our purpose should be to leave this planet and everything on it better than we found it. Accepting this universal purpose would ensure the survivor of the collective which will facilitate the survivor of the individuals leaving them free to pursue their own goals.
Still you are grasping. Nobody’s saying to retreat from the world. But as you work to pay rent, just work. Rent will come from the work whether you are attached or not. The only thing you need to do is be fully present in flow with nature/ the Tao/ the Dharma.

I think by saying " life ha no goal " , it means that we donot have any rigid, fixed purpose or goal in life. There can be various changing goals with time, which are very transient in nature ,, giving alignment to your present self. These transient goals are only to make present more perfect
PS. I was so glad when this guy was deported from the US in 1985 for his criminal activity. He changed his name to cover his tracks, and his few followers today still haven't woken up from his con - or maybe they are trying to find a way to build a huge Rolls Royce collection themselves. Whatever insights he peddled, were from some parts of Vedic thoughts regarding spirituality and the temporary drama of this world - but he twisted it all to suit his own goals of fame, fortune, and sexual fantasies - just like so many bogus gurus and priests found in the East and West.
He's teaching is to live life fully in joy, bliss and in the present moment. To become like a child again and don't take this life so seriously.
