    Thank you for this just passed mental stability assessment for surgery I got my birth CERTIFICATE legalizing me as female and theres not alot of info which is saddening as this is an ultimate step in this journey. I am writing my transitional journey in a novel to help others come to terms and also help those who know others and how to deal with negative reactions and hopefully educate the opinionated members of society who seem too arrogant to realize that their opinion is irrelevant as it affects my quality of life and when someone's opinion interferes with someone's happiness. That opinion is invalid and hopefully I will get the point across. Thank you for sharing your experience I am in my early to mid 40s best decision I have ever made in my whole life. Never been this happy ever in my life. Passed one year of living full time as well as one year of HRT. I wish everyone all the best and a good day

    i think the biggest misconception is that the prostate is not remove, so we still need to take anti-androgen but in very small amount

    • @pauladickerson6082

      That is not true. Your adrenaline gland produces some just like any other woman.

  • @corrie.welsh6272
    @corrie.welsh6272 ปีที่แล้ว

    You also have to factor in that the adrenal glands will compensate for the loss of the T producers. Females primarily get T from adrenal production, so MtF will follow suit with the same but may over produce T until the body understands that there are no AA's suppressing all T sources and the adrenals can stop pumping out T.

    Only thing that scares me about having srs is using the bathroom for first time ever. Cause I was told that few people said it Burns and blood comes out and others say they pee everywhere. I’m nervous about it tbh. But did you have trouble walking and going upstairs and downstairs? Cause I live in a house with stairs and I’m nervous about the stitches busting open 😭that’s my worse fear ever about any surgery tbh

    • @JoJo75
      @JoJo75  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Peeing can be a bit difficult at first. Some of the girls who were having their surgery at the same time as me, had to wear a catheter for a bit longer. I was lucky. I peed without an issue from day one. No blood, no pain as such. It was just bit uncomfortable. Its a bit like a sprinkler at first, but nothing to worry about. Stairs were also fine. No strenuous exercise though xx

    Hi. I just did my GCS a month ago. I have tried going to a friend who has done the surgery with my questions and for help and direction, how ever the conversation often becomes about there surgery and them selves, so I figured I would reach out and ask you and maybe get more clear information. I was wondering if when you first did your surgery, if therecwas almost a pinch or tightness at the top area of your vulva, possibly by the clitoris and upper labia minora? (especially in the morning) Also is it common to lose depht while dilating in the first few weeks post surgery. I used to be able to dilate passed the first dot on dilater, immediately after surgery and now a month later can only get to the second to last dot, with no hope of further depth as I am scared to force or push to hard on dilater. Please help with your experience. Thanks

    • @JoJo75
      @JoJo75  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. It is common to lose depth immediately after GCS. I was 7.5" and I'm now 6". This is after 4 years and the correct regimen. It has remained 6" for almost 2 years now. As for tightness, well you will experience all manner of different feelings over the coming 3-6 months as you heal. It can take a full year until you finally have the end result. Good luck. X

      @@JoJo75 Hi JoJo
      Thanks for the info. I did not realize recovery time would be so long. I feel like all I do is get up and dilate all day. Skin feels taught and swollen and vag a bit scary. I guess time will tell how well I heal and what my final results are aesthetically with my neo vag ! Fingers crossed, I have never felt so stressed and uptight about life.😥

    • @NidhuvanNagari

      @Tabitha Sherwood Thank you for your encouragement. Trying to stay positive and getting up every day in hopes of some relief from the tightness in the vaginal area. and normal sensation to return to the area.
