I love these games, only reason we complain is because we want the best for the game, there's no real progress in the sound department. Hope next gen we don't have this at all.

Well, I know the sound police already raided Turn 10 about the supra, so I'll give them some benefit of the doubt. It's better than horizon 3's sound. Best sound is still Horizon 2, with second being the first game.

Anthony_2JZ horizon 4 sounds like a stock 2JZ and it has amazing turbo sounds. Horizon 3 sounds like it has a fart can on it and doesn’t have any turbo noises that the 2JZ is famous for. Horizon 4 also got the smooth sound of the engine right, and the sound on horizon 4 is easier to fix. All they have to do to fix horizon 4 is make it higher pitched and add an extra howl to it at the end. Horizon 3 just sounded awful and sounded nothing like a 2JZ. It sounded as if the engine was having some kind of cylinder misfire

Now we are just wondering why they can't do the same in the new forzas. We also know for a fact someone had to have been fired from the sound team. For an actual stock straight 6 engine, FH4 is pretty bang-on. The Supra is a GT car, and when they're stock they sound relatively sedate, not like a screaming monster. A lot of people seem to forget that.
Idk what the creators did wrong (like with most of the cars) they sounded on point in the first and second game but in the third and fourth it always sound nowhere near the actual thing.
FH2 still the most accurate in terms of rpm range, in terms of quality FH1 and FH3 are tied, FH4 sounds like a diesel (let's hope they improve it when the other Toyotas come along, but let's be realistic, they will butcher all the sounds)
