At the time FH5 was released, the car was still at prototype/pre-production stage. Its very well done by sound quality and it featured two 'strat' mode that can either favor high top speed or downforce for cornering. So, at the time FM was released, the car should be at production variant, however it retains the same model as FH5. Its actually more closer to the real thing by base sound but ruined with poor sound mixing, especially with the interior.. and the car is stuck in 'track' mode. TCM managed to be the first to use production variant while also managed to visually animate active aero, the sound quality is.. good, but putting it bluntly, doesn't quite sound like the real thing, although the interior sound is pretty decent.
I'd say horizon 5 definitely nailed it in the sound department with this one, it sounds just like an AMG one, while the attention to detail in terms of the car geometry is a bit better on motorfest, especially if you look at the mesh on the rear and the parts behind it, motorsport has the best interior camera IMO besides that weird looking reflection on the top left, but it looks pretty flat overall in exteriors and it's quite depressing lol
Let's be real, we all already knew the Amg one was gonna rain supreme on horizon 5 in the sound department. I just wish the actual car wasn't terrible to race with.
Despite not being accurate, i go with TCM, why? Cuz it sounds cool still, i preffer Unrealistic yet cool engine sounds, over Realistic and boring, like the electric vehicles in TCM, they sound urealistic AF, why? Because theu actually have sound here XD, thats what makes them cool in game
